Staff was extremely nice and well mannered. Fred the GM was nice enough to walk me to my car and physically tell me what needed to get capped, printed out a transmission report and proceeded to give me options for my oil options. Literally the worst Oil change experience I've ever had - and I'm 60 years old. I was at this place for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Not exaggerating. It was a total disaster from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The place is owned, managed, operated by A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT MORONS. The few employees they have spend 90% of their time "chatting" and "walking around" doing nothing. I sat in the parking lot for about 10 minutes. Finally they got me in. I sensed something was not good by how slow and casual they were and the amount of "chatting" going on. My car sat for 30 minutes before they even touched it. Was like waiting in a doctors office. Once they started, then they stopped again for about 15 minutes. Nothing being done. Why? Even when they were done and shut the hood, it took them 6-7 minutes to get the sticker for the windshield and give me the receipt ($100 - unbelievable) for just an oil change. I'm not joking when I say that I could have easily done the oil change myself at home - in my driveway in half the time that these incompetent morons did it. The only reason I go to oil change places is because I have a company car and I have to. All oil changes have to be documented and performed by professional auto service shops. I am shocked this business is still open after reviewing the Better Business Bureau complaints. 117 over the last 12 months, now 118 with mine. I went in for an oil change and the skid plate was not secured properly. Debris and wind knocked it down yesterday causing a loud noise while driving. After pulling over the City of Naperville required my vehicle be towed. The tow cost $215 since the city of Naperville called them out. The tow truck driver explained what happened to me, the city of Naperville employee and to the gentleman at Jiffy Lube who were extremely apologetic. Mike More Miles next door put the skid plate back up at no charge. The young gentleman at Jiffy Lube explained to me and the tow truck driver that the manager would call me this morning. The manager did not call this morning and when I called he was less than helpful. All I originally asked for was the tow charge but after a traumatizing event, missing work and being treated poorly I am asking for the oil change to be refunded and the tow truck charge reimbursed. I would ask that this manager be retrained as well considering how many vehicles have had problems after visiting this location and the poor customer care provided. No apology for the manager just questions as to why the tow cost what it did. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've gone to this Jiffy Lube location for 17 years. I was in town visiting family for Thanksgiving and needed to get an oil change before I started my 500+ mile drive back to Nashville the next day. Never again after today. This was like a scene from that Undercover Boss show. It's very evident they don't have a real grown up running that garage anymore. It took an HOUR for me to get a 10 MINUTE oil change. The place wasn't even busy and they had 5 or 6 people working at the time. The clincher is when my car was finished the unpleasant looking female mechanic shouted "CAN YOU CASH OUT THE CAR IN BAY 2 SO THIS WOMAN CAN STOP STARING AT ME"! Then she looked right at me. I watched them change my oil from the waiting room door because I didn't trust these clowns. Here's why.. It took 15 minutes of waiting before an employee even acknowledged me and came up to my window. During this whole time I'm watching three teenage looking employees standing around not doing anything. Finally this kid Nick comes out to talk to me and it's obvious he's got an attitude. The way he walked, carried himself and facial expressions. He looked about 17 and still even had his braces. Nick had the nicest shirt on, slacks and wasn't dirty so I assume he's the guy running the garage. I expected him to greet me and ask what I needed. Instead, I lower my window and he says "hey turn your headlights off. You're blinding my mechanic" and walked away. Today was rainy and overcast so my auto headlights were on. I apologized and turned them off. Another 15 minutes go by and I'm finally waived in. At this point I've been watching the employees for a half hour. There's a young female with tight black jeans and beanie smacking her bubble gum, walking around not doing much. She's swinging the lines hanging from the ceiling and goofing off. A bald dude belching and working. Two female mechanics talking but mostly arguing with each other. Everyone was rude and passive aggressive to each other but talked loud enough for customers to hear from the waiting room. I'm now observing the show from the waiting room doorway. Nothing about this scene gave me blind faith in my car getting serviced but I'd already waited a half hour and figured they can't screw up an oil change too badly. The grumpy mechanic is asking the young gum chewer to hand her tools and this girl was clueless. She didn't know where things were, couldn't find the right size tools the mechanic was asking for, etc. Then this girl is casually LEANING on my car. A customer asked if there was any more free hot chocolate and suddenly three employees are searching around for the hot chocolate packets. Nick is complaining about how employees keep drinking all the hot chocolate. Meanwhile I'm thinking "I wish these people cared as much about getting my oil change done as they do about finding the hot chocolate. I've been here for 50 minutes"! Then Nick is trying to up-sell me to a fancy oil and using terms like "violating my car's warranty". I told him I just needed the basic stuff. When he rang me up I joked "an hour later for a ten minute oil change". Nick goes "oh yea well I don't know. I just got here so I'm not sure what's been going on". Reading the reviews for this Jiffy Lube made me scared, but i have been to this location a handful of times and have always been ok, up until this last time. It's Saturday 10:30 am and this Jiffy Lube is a ghost town. An employee comes up to my car and asks what I need today I said an oil change. I walk into the facility and am now greeted by a technician. He pulls up my Jiffy Lube history and reviews my maintenance. After examining my car they determine I need new wiper blades, and i need a new fuel filter. They service my car and then proceed to tell me that they didnt have a fuel filter for my car make. Okay...so now im panicking thinking that I really need a fuel filter and I should probably schedule it with my dealership. I make an appointment with my dealership, they take a look at my fuel filter and tell me that its fine, I do not need a fuel filter. You almost got it Jiffy, now I will only go to my dealership for oil changes as they tried to pull a fast one on me. read more

OK so here's the deal. It's great now you have coffee in the waiting area but now you just need to clean it up. If you want to be keeping up with the competition, you need to make the customer experience nicer. It is just sloppy compared to every other place that I have been up and down Ogden. As well, please if you're running long or having an issue communicate with your customer that you're having an issue and how long it's going to take. It took 1 hour and 25 minutes. They replaced it for free, and the bill was less, with 50% more services provided, 20% increased discount than VALVOLINE, and now I will never use VALVOLINE again. My word, as a man, and a Freemason, is not in question. Consider this a requested photo by myself, to promote integrity, and competence. Horrible service. I took my company car in to get a oil change since they are usually fast and i am on company time. It took a hour and a half for just a oil change. There was only one other customer there. The next day my a/c did not work. Took it to a ford dealer since it had a recall on it anyways. They found a screw in the a/c line. read more

Disappointed. If I could give a zero, I would. Were they too lazy or incompetent? Went in and requested that they change both my headlights on my Prius. I went to this place because it was the closest location to my work. Waited a little bit and then they came in and told me that it is impossible to get that done at a Jiffy Lube. I had to either take it to a body shop or the dealer. Hmmm...that's funny because I've never had issues with getting that type of service in the past. What a waste of my time! I should've used my dependable Jiffy Lube in Oak Park where I live. Called there and they told me no problem. Drove there and they got it done. No problem. They were dumbfounded that the Naperville shop couldn't do it. He said they probably didn't want to deal with it. I WAS THE ONLY CAR IN THE SHOP when I brought it in.
