When in today for the first time for an oil change. Big guy was so cocky quoting me prices for 6 quarts of oil when I express to him 2 times I only need one. When I informed him 130.00 was pretty steep and I would go to Oil Changers he started going in on the company. Do they use this oil do they use that oil. Bobby stated that they haven't done this before so we called Carmax customer service together. Everyone is so nice here and they are pretty honest, but I'm not sure about experience. I got my car oil changed here and they put the wrong filter in my car. I had to get my car towed to a shop because it was leaking oil and I knew I had just had an oil change. So I ended up having to get my car towed to a shop for them to tell me the wrong filter was in it and I had to get another oil change. I was off early on a Monday so I figured I would try my luck at seeing if I could get my brakes checked because they had been showing signs of wear. I arrived at 330 p.m.they accepted me and put my car on the rack right away. Bobby was more than hospitable, he offered me a cold beverage and everything. So I Yelped oil change and the first to come up was Grease Monkey! 5 stars and it was a block away. I was hoping they were as good as the reviews and let me tell you.....THEY ARE! They checked me in, took my keys, brought my truck up, I had a seat and as I looked out they started Vacuuming my truck! At first I didn't know what to think. I wasn't sure if I was imagining it and then I saw the guy washing my windows...LOL WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!?!? Now they're checking the air in my tires!!!! WTF!!! Ok my own Toyota dealership doesn't even do this when I go to get serviced! I'm impressed. AND MY OIL HASN'T EVEN BEEN CHANGED LOL. Each vehicle that comes in is guaranteed a service time too. When your vehicle goes in a timer starts which is pretty cool. If they go over the time, they take $1 off every minute they go over. Kinda crazy but cool!
