I wish I could give them zero stars. I took my car there to do an oil change as I heard good things about this place. I called in to make an appointment. Today I arrived around 9am to drop my car off. The clerk said it would take about an hour to an hour and a half for the oil change to happen. Around 12pm I called them back and they told me they haven't even started it yet. I told them "You know what, just cancel the appointment, I'll go pick up my car", then when I got there they handed my keys. And I drove off and left. I understand they have other clients to assist, but why would you tell me it would take an hour to an hour and a half to complete only for two-three hours to pass and... nothing? You guys! Omg I don't know what I would have done without Firestone. I was visiting from Long Beach and on my way home, 15 min on the road, my car started to misfire.... We pulled over and tried to find a shop in Antioch and had no luck being a Sunday. Thankfully we were referred to Firestone where we could tow my vehicle and they surely took care of her. I ended up renting a car back home and had to return following weekend to pick her up. At first I was worried I wouldn't make it home but thankfully, Firestone did their thing and handled the tune up where I was able to make it home safely. Oof, why are good car shops so hard to come by? The guy at the counter was super friendly and funny but after helping me out with some coupons and discounts, I was still billed a ridiculous amount. It was ok, because I checked the receipt and found that he charged me twice for a set of 4 tires! He was gracious enough to admit his mistake and refunded me. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only issue though. I asked for them to keep one of my tires (bc it was still good) and put it in the trunk. FIRESCAM! Antioch and Brentwood locations will take your money. Went for a regular oil change and car came back leaking oil. They blamed it on an Oil Pan Gasket, but it wasn't leaking before I brought it in to the shop. I brought my car to a local mechanic to check if it was really my oil pan and they ended up finding a pinched gasket ! Luckily the locals only charged me $60 to fix the problem and it's been smooth since. THIS IS THE 2nd time a FIRESTONE around here has scammed me. As the one in Brentwood had the same experience with my dad's car fixing a leak. 2k later the car was was still leaking after a multiple repairs to different parts so we brought it to the dealership and they sent us pictures of TERRIBLY INSTALLED parts causing the leak. The worst part was the manager at the time said his A team wasn't there.. shouldn't the whole staff be the A team lol? This establishment is a joke they have had my car at their shop for over a week. Not including a couple days before when I brought my car in and they told me I had a hole in my muffler charged me $115. So I go to a muffler shop the guy looks at my car and kinda laughs and says that's normal EVERY SINGLE MUFFLER has that! So obviously I'm annoyed because I took my car in They didn't do anything besides telling me something that is normal on my car and then charge me $115. So we take my car back to this place because we already paid for a diagnostic. They call back the next day and tell me it's going to be almost $900 to fix. So we fix it obviously cause what other choice do we have we already put money into this damn shop. They have had my car for a week NEVER any updates and when we call it's always "oh the part will be here Tuesday or Wednesday" or "oh the part is in traffic so we won't get it until the end of the day!!" Now we're sitting at Thursday and they're finally done with my car at almost 3pm! Thank god we have two cars because this would have been an even bigger nightmare. And when my boyfriend said it's just frustrating like no one is giving me any updates the man in the office didn't say anything. Communication is key nobody's perfect but updates are necessary. I needed an alignment on my 09 smart car. It has been a little difficult to find auto shops that will work on smart cars. I initially took it to Les Schwab in Oakley, but the car was too small for their alignment machine. I called this Firestone and they told me to bring it down and they would try it for me. I brought it in right away and it worked! They were done within an hour! I then had them quote me for 4 new tires for my Tesla. I got a great quote, probably the cheapest I've seen for quality tires, thanks to their sale! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Service went great and the car drives well since I just got a new set of tires and forgot to do that at the same time. I went to get an Oil change on my Audi 2019 here. I waited an hour and they came back to me saying my plug was rounded off and that they couldn't get it out. If they forced it and it still wouldn't come out that I would have to get a whole new pan for 700 dollars. I went to winter Honda and they did my oil change no problem. Service not done as expected. I was warned by several people not to go to this place but I always give the benefit of the doubt. I always give extra time with time promised my car will be done. But today I made an appt to have my brakes due to grinding sounds. Firestone changed my breaks on 12/2024. I only drove about 6000 miles and the grinding noise is back. Made an appt at 1100 on 8/23/25. I brought my car in 1030 I was told should be done 2-3 hours. I called at 130 pm and my car was not even seen yet. 2-3 hours more before they can check my car. By that time the shop will be closing and what will happen if my car needs repairs . I waisted my Saturday for this. I made the appt Was told will be done a certain time. At least inform your customer what's going on . My car is equally important as other cars that needs repairs and will generate payments compared to my car could cause nothing. Very disappointed. Reading the reviews AFTER I got my oil change, I feel like I was at a completely different location than everyone is reviewing about. I actually liked my experience and plan to go back as it was a very easy process for me. Called the day before, landed a 1230appt and I personally told them I had all day to wait since I don't want them to rush my car. They called me just about an hour or two after, it was also a holiday weekend. I also received the $10 off coupon since there's deals online directly from their website! No fuss about that, as they were glad to give it. I first came in and it was Ken and his other teammate, both busy with customers but I was still greeted with a happy welcome. Appreciate them both as I noticed they were tied up with trying to squeeze in a customer, explain to a customer what the prices are and still making sure everyone was set with everything before leaving them with the keys. I personally got a laugh or two out because it made seem like it was family affair in there. I noticed that they were telling the team outside working on cars not to rush the car work and to just make sure the work is done but correctly and smoothly. That was nice to hear since .. my car was going to be there too. I appreciate coming in with laughs and coming to pick up my car and everyone was still fun, calm, and collected. Even during the football game going on and with 2-3 people ahead of me. I think it's been a month now since my oil change and nothing wrong since! I'll be back for sure. I went there for a "free brake inspection" that ended up costing me 5 hours. 2 hours waiting for them to do something the day of inspection, another 3 hours fixing the cross threaded lug nut they screwed up and had to cut off two days later. The mechanic was too damn lazy to hand thread the lugs to get them started. Then, when I went to another mechanic a lug snapped off again from them over torquing their repairs. This Firestone has gotten WORST year after year appointment after appointment. First, what's the point of marking an 8am appointment only to be told the tech doesn't come till 9am but gets to work at 940? I WAS A LOYAL Firestone customer but after this I'm not sure anymore, at least not to this location. Time after time an oil change and tire rotation turns into an all day event. No updates. Three days ago, I called Firestone Antioch to inquire about purchasing four new tires. I informed Angel of the specific tire that I was interested in purchasing. After discussing the tire, he checked inventory and he set my appointment for 6/23/24 at at 10 am. This morning, I dropped off my car and got a ride home. About 40 minutes later, Angel called to inform me that my tires are not in stock. I was also informed that my tires had to be ordered. To makes matters worse, I was informed that I had to pay for the tires in full before he could order them. I knew I would have to wait a little bit then it's about 5 and my car is still sitting the exact same place. They need to prioritize appointments. What's the point of making an appointment if you're not going the seen at that time. I was just more upset about the fact there was no communication. I don't have a problem waiting but a simple "hey we just running behind, or hey we're a little short staffed today." Would have been a lot better than not hearing anything. The staff here is nice but I feel like they do not know what they're doing or are just plain lazy, I have a rental through enterprise that had gotten 2 flat tires and the rental company told me that this place will do it for free. Yesterday we made an appt for a tire rotation and balancing at the Delta fair location. Our car was there from 11 am to 4 pm and picked it up. This morning when my husband was checking my car's tires...he noticed the tires were not rotated. He could tell because one of the rims had a previous scratch and that tire was in the same place it was BEFORE the appt. He called the manager Ahmed and asked what they did to the car. Response was checked the fluids, oil filter and balanced the tires. NO ROTATION. My husband started yelling and cussing at him(no I don't approve of either) why the tires were not rotated. Instead of accepting responsibility for the fail and trying to fix it...Ahmed made excuses that maybe it got deleted from the work order. He said to bring it back right away and they would rotate them. My husband told him after being without the car yesterday for six hours...he was not going to return for the rotation and not have the car AGAIN. I have heard from other people that this Antioch Firestone on Delta Fair sucks...and they refuse to go there. Now...we understand why. I don't recommend this Firestone to anyone. I had gone to Firestone previously for tune up on Delta Fair in Antioch..great service,guy at desk very knowledgeable and helpful.2 weeks ago i went for service..have bulbs replaced and wanted a Transmission Flush.I checked in early so zi had a seat..my 2pm appt came and went ,when the guy at desk asked me at 245 what car I was waiting on...I had to laugh and say the one that has not been serviced yet,he then proceeded to ask what service i was Mthere for...when i made the appointment zi specified what i needed,he tells me no one there ro do transmission work and to check back 10 days after waiting 11/2hrs. This guy clearly has no clue and can not multitask with customers and phone he was aggitated and told me they were so far behind no bulb change either. What happened to the other front desk guy he was knowledgeable. So today 3 weeks later i went to Firestone for service...BUT the one in Brentwood....now i had 2 bulbs out and requested a complete bulb change all the way around,the kid at desk advised me it wad unnecessary and to wait until they burn out...being a girl and commuting its not convienent for me getting back after 730 at night from work.What they did was replace my 2 bulbs and even though i requested transmission flush and oil change I was not due for either for about 2200 more miles,he was saving me $$ i get that and 2 bulbs were $95_00.i walked away with more $$in my pocket,and ill return in 2000 miles for the other services...WIN...WIN MY RATING FOR BRENTWOOD IS 5 STARS...WHERE ANTIOCH LOST MY BUSINESS read more

I have been to Firestone two or three times now. Ian is always the MOST PROFESSIONAL person I have ever encountered. I ran over a screwdriver on my way to work and I knew Firestone opened early. When I got there Ian checked me in, immediately had a tech change the tire on my car, ordered the new tire, and told me I could go to work and then return in the evening to have the new tire put on the vehicle. I did just that. When I returned in the evening, it only took 15 minutes and I was on my way. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Since that time I have gone back for a tire plug and I plan to return when I need to replace all of tires! The manager Ken, is AWESOME!! He gave me great customer service over the phone and even bettor in person. He was so helpful with questions I had regarding the battery for my Camaro. I had no idea it was in the trunk under the spare tire. Josh, one of the mechanics, was also AWESOME. There was a leak in my trunk that seemed to be coming from the battery so, Josh made sure to double check the cables and wires to make sure it wasn't coming from somewhere else. I can't remember the name of the young man who changed the battery but he was very nice and did a really good job. Short version: 8am appointment for alignment took over 7 hours, didnt start til almost 2pm, sale price not honored, and extremely pushy workers. I waited a month to post this, so at this point I can include that I found out- THEY REMOVED MULTIPLE NUTS AND BOLTS FROM MY TIRES WHEN BREAKING MY WHEEL LOCKS, WHICH I ASKED THEM NOT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. (The key was in my glovebox but apparently it was a favor that they weren't charging me for the kit to break it.) Imade an 8am (opening time) appointment for an alignment two days in advanced. We discussed prices, and the lifetime alignment was going to be a sale price (woohoo!). Unfortunately they weren't able to fit us in at the time we wanted, the sale price would no longer be available but they took our name and number down and promised they'd accommodate because they were unable to fit us in when making our appointment. Once they came in to the shop (we were early, first ones there) they let us know that there were two people ahead of us. First red flag. Then they told us they didnt care what we were told, or that our names and numbers were written down as proof we would be getting the deal. Okay, so we say we just want the regular alignment. They offered us $20 off lifetime, and we said no thats not the price we were promised and we only want the regular alignment. Well, they insisted on charging us the lifetime price anyway, and told us that the "alignment process is different" so we have no choice but to waste $200. Ridiculous. On top of the rest- the alignment took a whopping 8 hours. It took them until 130 to even START (5 and a half hours?!). They continuously called us throughout the day trying to sale us other parts, even though they hadnt even started. Smfh. Never putting another penny into Firestones hands again. read more

We took my sons truck in for an oil change. we dropped it off and a couple hours later the manager calls and says it needs a new oil pan. The strange thing was just a few weeks ago he had the oil changed at another local location and there was no problem with the oil pan. After a little bit of discussion it was discovered that their technician had stripped the oil pan drain plug, hence causing damage to the oil pan ( it's an aluminum oil pan) The manager there whose name is Sherry offered to do a repair for free. we picked it up a few hours later after the repair and the very next day oil was pouring out from underneath the truck through the oil pan onto my sons driveway. He I took it to a A local auto repair shop who said that the technician had indeed stripped the plug end it was going to cost over $900 to replace. then took it back to Sherry at fire stone who offered to replace The oil pan at their shop. we dropped it off and a few hours later she called back and reneged on that deal. now she's stating that the leak was coming from another area underneath the truck. obviously we were concerned and took it back to the local shop who said that is absolutely not true. This is definitely from the oil pan plug and they definitely stripped it. Do not take your vehicle here they damage your vehicle then try to cover up that damage .
