Someone on the road informed me that one of my brake lights were out. I went here to get it fixed, they took the car in and 10 min later they came back saying nothing was wrong with the brake lights and everything was fine. I called yesterday for a tire change and the guy said $130 & that they were busy at 1pm until the end of the day . So he told me to came into the office at 8am to beat the rush . The total was $140 without warranty . The guy at the front filling out information laughed at me twice. Also he was drinking a drink and was waiting to eat his cupcake. Men are so rude . THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME: I Call Big O Tires yesterday and ask them how much it would cost to change a battery they gave me a quote of $350,00, The next day I called them back to check that they had the right size and get a quote. He gave me the same quote o $350.00. I arrived and he gave me the quote of $350.00 again after checking his computer for my make and modle. He then went to my car with one of his coworks who he said would be changing my battery. After seeing how to remove my battery he stated he would have to charge me more for labor. We went back in he checked his computer again and gave me a NEW QUOTE of $364.00, I agreed to the $364. He left and went into the garage area where they started working on my car. After like 15 minutes he came back to the waitting area where I was and informed me he would have to charge me more for the labor now $416.00. Well due to he had aready given me a quote of $364..00 for the labor I told him NO I wont approve that amount and that's k they didn't have too change my battery and that I'll take my car. I went to the garage area and there was another guy working on my car. I told him that was ok he don't have to put a new battery in i'll just take my car, The guy says he had already put the new battery in.. I told him to put my battery back in because I hadn't agreed to pay more for labor. This guy got in my face as though to intimidate me and start yelling at me sayiing I had wasted his time because he had to use his own tools He put my battery back in and after I had to look and find screws that he had not replced I left. I went in for new tires. And they lied and said the hubcap was broken by the time it got to them. The hubcap and the two little broke pieces where left in my trunk. But I know for a fact that I didn't brake it because the two pieces would have fell on the floor from the night prior of me putting on my spare, it's impossible I would have noticed!!! Well done- you've won my business. My regular garage charges $120 for an alignment and couldn't get me in for a few days.. Last week I got a new front end suspension (I bought the parts- control arms, steering tie rods etc. online and had a guy put them on at my house). After that service, you need an alignment.. My steering felt loose, sluggish for the past couple weeks and I was grateful to finally have it fixed. Big O did a quick alignment and I was off. As I pulled on hwy4 at Loverage, things weren't right- big time. It was making a thudding sound. Off at railroad and back to Big-O- up on a rack she went. So the manager says "come look at something". All the new parts he could move with his fingers. "You can't drive it. Who did this work?" Some guy, I say. from under another car someone yells "Do yourself a favor, don't use that guy" Wincing I kinda laugh and look at the manager. He says "I got you- we'll take care of it" I go out for a walk. 20 minutes later, boss man says I need another alignment. After Tightening all the parts... you gotta redo.. Ok, I can do another alignment but what about the rest? He says we got you. Just a little while longer. At this point I've paid $99 for an alignment and they've been on my car for hours. My car comes out, so I head in with my credit card in my hand (wondering how much "I got you" means). This place has taken a real nosedive. For my entire adult life I've always bought tires at this Big O and took my car there for related services, but my last few trips have been plagued with all kinds of problems, from trivial to major. For starters, even before the quality of work went downhill, they were always pretty slow. I drive a ton, so I bring my car in frequently for rotations. On most days I was the first person in line when they opened (I always try to beat the rush at businesses), but on average it would take them 3+ hours just to rotate my tires, often more if I also needed an oil change. No biggie though, I have time to spare and I'm willing to wait for work to be done right. Unfortunately, long wait times are now the least of my concerns. A few months ago, I needed a new set of tires. I have no idea what happened because I was never given an explanation, but Big O had my car that day for more than 7 hours. They also called the wrong number, my parents' home, when they were done. I was 18 when I first brought a car in, so my account still has the old home number associated with it despite me giving them my cell multiple times over the years. My mom had to call me to tell me my car was done. Upon pickup, I noticed huge stains on my rims. It's common for them to leave my car really dirty after working on it, so I didn't think much of it. I figured I would just wash it afterwards like always. I decided to go for a drive, but when I got on the freeway I noticed intense vibrations and shaking once the car got to 60 MPH, and the steering wheel would wobble like crazy. I determined the tires were balanced incorrectly, so I took it back the next day. They fixed the balancing, and then I set about cleaning the rims. Unfortunately, whatever chemical solution they used was not coming off. I took my car to two different car washes and bought a few speciality rim products, but nothing worked. After two weeks of trying, I brought my car back in and they were able to clean the rims. They missed a few small spots during the cleaning, but I didn't feel like pushing the issue since I was rapidly losing faith and just wanted to move on. A few days ago on 9-4-20, I brought my car in for a rotation, oil change, and a brake inspection since I noticed some rumbling during braking at higher speeds (probably just a rotor that needs to be resurfaced or replaced). I walked home and was prepared for another long wait, so I was shocked when they called just over an hour later. The person I spoke to said my oil change was done, but didn't mention anything else. I asked about the brakes and he simply said, "Oh, they're fine," without giving any details. This has been another ongoing issue. The first few years I went to Big O they would tell me how much of the brake pads are left as a percentage and other helpful info, but now they just say they're fine and leave it at that, even when I try to ask questions. Just like last time, when I took my car on the freeway it became shaky and the steering wheel wobbled. It wasn't as pronounced as last time, but clearly the balancing was wrong yet again. Fed up, I made an appointment with another garage to get the tires balanced. However, the very next day I was driving when my front driver tire suddenly lost all air. I hadn't hit or run over anything. It just simply deflated on Railroad Ave less than 2 minutes after I started driving. The tire didn't appear low when I got in the car. I was in an area where I couldn't just pull over (the underpass heading downtown), so I managed to get the Valero station down the road. The tire is now screwed after just two months of use and my rim is slightly damaged. My guess is they didn't inflate it properly, but I can't tell yet. I've had to wait all weekend to go back since they're no longer open on Sundays and today is a holiday, but I'm considering just calling it a loss and never going back. I'm pretty diligent about car maintenance, and I'd rather pay another business to get it right the first time than continue to go back and forth with Big O. read more

This is my first time to come to this location after calling the manager or the owner and he sounded extremely kind and welcoming to bring in my car because I had a nail in my tire and when I got there , Cody was at the reception and he told me not to worry ( extremely kind ) will take care of it . He helped me out when I checked in this morning and being that the suspension is lowered he brought out the alignment tool just to make sure they could do it. Last month I took in my Suv on 12-14-2019 to get an oil change done and tire rotation. On 12-16-2019 I took my suv back because the could not find the lug nut lock key to do the tire rotation on 12-16-2019 which was in the truck. On 12-20-2019 (Tires had not been torqued correctly and tire pressure was way too high on all tires.I had been driving my suv around like that and it was not until my Fiancé drove on the freeway that we realized something was not right when our suv started to lock it self and tire felt like it was going to fly out as it was wobbly. He pulled out of the freeway and noticed the tires were not secure. My kids were scared and crying because the way the truck felt and felt unsafe! My Fiancé was able to make it back to the shop and he was told that a new guy worked on our truck and they were sorry about what had happened. My fiancé was told everything was going to be okay now with the tires since they had checked and torqued tires correctly . My Fiancé took their word because we have taken our vehicles to them for years but soon realized something was still not right as the suv started doing the same thing again. My kids were horrified while riding in the truck. So the next day 12-21-2019 I took it back and demanded it be looked at again! Which they told me that something had been damaged because of their neglect of Not securing the tires probably. My problem is that I took it back to you and you assured me my vehicle was OK & safe to drive the day before and it was Not! If I hadn't spoken up my vehicle would have not been give back the way I took it to you! Now I was told they would they were going to change the part that had been damaged and I would have my truck repaired by 12-23-2019. On the day of 12-23-2019 I received a call letting me know that the part was going to take a few days to come in because of the holidays and that if I wanted I could pick up my truck and drive it if needed to. Which I declined because I am not going to put my kids at risk! After you told me the first time the problem would be corrected. We had plans to go to Tahoe those days for the Christmas which was Screwed up thanks to Big O tire in Pittsburg because we couldn't use our suv. BEWARE!!!! I made an appointment to take my car to this location to get an oil change as I needed to do a last minute drive up north and could not get into the dealership right away. Included in their price is a battery check, visual safety inspection, check and set tire pressure, oil filter change and surprisingly a tire rotation. Cody Abrams, the counter person, told me the tech person, Alberto Rivera, stated my two front tires were badly worn and had cable showing inside. He recommended that the rotation of the front tires to the back not be done for braking issues especially in the rainy weather. Abrams also stated that I needed an alignment. Initially I was grateful to find this out. I took my vehicle to America's Tires in Antioch to have my tires inspected and to see about buying new ones. I always do my tire business with this company. They have never steered me wrong and I trust them. After inspection and rotation, I was told there was nothing wrong with my tires and I had several more tire rotations to go before needing new tires. Now, I am taking my car to the dealership to make sure the oil change and oil filter was completed since I found out these two people at the North Park Blvd Pittsburg Big O Tires store cannot be trusted.
