Wow hidden gem for sure. Food was great! Super reasonable price too. Eat in and you'll be served tea and all the sauces your heart wishes. The fried mushroom wontons (?) were super delicious, and the vermicelli hand rolls were deliciously fresh. Service is super accommodating and atmosphere is that of a mall.

I sought this place out of convenience as it was walkable from my other destination. It's in a food hall, and ordering was confusing. They made it seem like they weren't providing service and you had to order online, but when I did they told me I could have ordered in person. The food hall was a tad sketch, not the cleanest, so I was happy to move on. The hot pot dish I got had a zingy flavor with abundant lemongrass and I enjoyed it, but it didn't come with rice. Given the lack of ambiance and service, the value of money for food was not what I'd hoped. You can definitely get some interesting vegetarian cuisine here if you're willing to live with the limitations.

Grasshopper is a solid choice, but not necessarily one I would choose again soon. It is located inside the Super 88 Food Court, which doesn't have the best decor or vibes. My partner and I ordered and split the house lo mein and the sweet and sour tofu chicken fingers. Starting with what they did well: I really liked the "beef" on the lo mein, my partner liked the "shrimp," and I thought the vegetables and the sweet and sour sauce were perfect. To me, though, the tofu chicken fingers had WAY too much breading and ended up tasting more like fried dough with a tiny nugget of tofu inside. Additionally, I felt like the lo mein did not have enough seasoning. The portions are large, so you do get good value. The person who took our order was attentive and the food came out quickly. Not my favorite but I can see it being a good choice for quick vegetarian eats if you're in the area.

So sad that they're closing at the end of May! They've been open for 27 years, and all my vegan friends love the place. The portions are big, the prices are very reasonable, and the flavors are good. For reference, I went with a party of 7, and the bill came to $100 before tip, with two boxes of leftovers. PSA: It's the kind of vegan place where a lot of the dishes are named after the meat/fish options that they're inspired by (e.g., lobster, seafood, chicken, beef). But I don't think the taste is meaty or fishy at all for most dishes. The one thing that is slightly interesting and closer to the original is the "shrimp": It resists a bit, just like shrimp, and it's striped.

Grasshopper is back! So very happy to be able to enjoy fantastic vegan Chinese food. The new location is inside the 88 market food court. There are many choices however Grasshopper is the best!

i absolutely loved my first grasshopper experience!! i got it delivered and everything was correct, still hot, and super yummy! - the tofu with american broccoli is going to be my new go to. they pack it full! there was so much broccoli and tofu! but i had to order a side of rice separately fyi! - i got a side of lo mein noodles. the noodles were plain but the flavor was not! they were so yummy and are great as leftovers to mix with your own protein and veggies the next day. - the spring rolls, sadly, we're not it. i couldn't eat half of one. was disappointed with that one overall had such an amazing experience and will definitely be ordering delivery from here more often! i wish the spring rolls were better and i wish the entrees would come with rice instead of buying it separately. otherwise it was a 10/10 from me

My wife was looking for a vegetarian-friendly spot, and this place had great ratings, so we gave it a shot. I went with the Philly Cheesesteak, and I definitely enjoyed it. Was it the best I've ever had? Nah. But it was flavorful, well-cooked, and disappeared pretty quickly. I will say, a little more cheese would've taken it from a 7 to a 9 for me. The real star of the show though? The loaded fries. Crispy fries with a generous topping that made every bite hit. Easily my favorite part of the meal. Food-wise, no complaints. The reason I'm landing at 4 stars is the customer service. It wasn't bad by any means, but there's something about walking up to the counter, saying hello, and just getting a silent stare back that throws off the vibe a bit. Maybe I'm just morphing into an old man, but a quick greeting goes a long way. That said, it didn't ruin the experience. I've got another Boston trip coming up, and I'll probably swing back to try something else. Definitely worth checking out, whether you're vegetarian or just like good food.

The establishment was almost at capacity, but I got the last 2-top. I ordered the intestine tofu stew ($15.99). The tofu stew itself seemed decently savory with silky tofu, an egg, and well-cleaned intestines. It also arrived piping hot. The banchan seemed disappointing today. The radish kimchi was barely fermented and slightly bitter; it tasted like raw daikon purchased from the supermarket that morning. Cabbage kimchi seemed acceptable. Banchan sizes were quite skimpy; I ordered a refill for myself. This has convinced me to find another default / go-to place for soondubu / tofu stew.

Though I haven't eaten a lot of korean food before, I felt this restaurant captures the essence of a traditional home cooked korean meal, with plates to share and perfectly personalized pots of their famous tofu soup. I would definitely recommend trying their beef and kimchi soup or their beef dumpling soup, both had standout taste while maintaining a simple flavor profile that you could continue to return to. I also absolutely loved their kimchi fried rice, so don't miss out on their additional menu items aside from their most popular offerings. Overall, I thought the food was tasty and satisfying, but otherwise there's not a specific thing that would continue to draw me back to this restaurant. The service was nice but mostly left us to ourselves and the food took a little while to come out. Unless you're really craving a korean tofu soup, I feel there's other restaurants in the area that serve up a little more variety and boldness in their flavors.

This diner has become our annual post-Boston Marathon tradition. It offers hearty vegan options after a heavy effort day. Whether you ran or ran around chasing your marathon runner, or you tireless held a sign all morning screaming your heart out, Veggie Grill delivers on soul-quenching food that will send you home with a happy belly! Comforting, tasty and filling. The vibe just makes you feel at home. Since becoming vegan, diners have become a place where I know I'll be getting a fruit cup, toast and a side of avocado... Not really a place I would be dying to visit but such is not the case at Veggie Galaxy!!! Vegans, vegetarians and food lovers all have something to enjoy here! Veggie Galaxy offers an expansive menu, the kind that leaves you feeling super indecisive and you just order too much food. It's perfect for the weary traveler/marathoner since you'll have leftovers to enjoy in the middle of the night! Our party ordered way too much food, we didn't have room for dessert (unless you count the entire round of milkshakes we ordered!). Since becoming vegan, milkshakes have become such a rare thing. It's awesome they have so many flavor options here and Veggie Galaxy will mix and make whatever your heart desires! This works great for our predominantly plant-based party who also has lots of lactose-intolerant folks. Sorry for not being super specific about what we ordered. Honestly, we have loved every single thing we have ever ordered here so just close your eyes and point to something on the menu. You can't go wrong! I loved the diner / space theme, and they managed to really pull it off. We went on a Tuesday night, around 7pm. They were busy, but we were seated quickly & our food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. Our server was friendly & attentive, but didn't hover. For drinks, I got a Chocolate Martini (heavy on both the chocolate & the etoh--incredible), and my parter got the Bloody Mars (he gave it 3/5 stars). For entrees, I HAD to order the vegan Mac n' Stack, a ridiculous (but delicious) chicken sandwich with mac & cheese waffles as the bun. I ended up eating it with a knife & a fork (because it was so tall I couldn't fit a bit in my mouth), and I can't emphasize enough how amazing it was. The coleslaw it came with was creamy and paired excellently. My partner got one of the vegan eggs benefit, made with their vegan egg replacement. He liked it (gave it 3.5/5 stars), but agreed that the Mac n' Stack was the best thing we tried. We were so full that we couldn't try out their desserts, but I know we'll be back to get some of the cheesecake (and also, of course, to try more of the sandwiches!). Overall, this was everything I want out of a vegan dining experience. The vibe was so fun--didn't feel the food was both classic & creative, and they had so many amazing options. Can't wait to come back!
