It comes in the pan, so there's a pool of grease still at the bottom. We had this dish last, and it felt like a bad way to finish the meal. The cheese itself was delicious (the nuts too), but the dish still lacked something to cut through the grease. Loukanikopita (8/10): The sausage was really good. All their phyllo dishes are awesome. Service has consistently been uneven, unprofessional and hit-and-miss, even when there are only a handful of customers. IMHO, they are stuck in a catch-22. Their sales is low, so they don't invest in adequate, professional servers with real dining room experience. Poor service, in turn, drives customers away. Customers who visit for the first time may not come back because of poor service, which drives sales down, which prevents the restaurant from spending more to invest in professional servers! ______________________________________________

The appetizers were great, particularly the fallafel, the grape leaves, and the meatballs (we had the platter). The saganaki cheese was also excellent (not flaming though :-) ). The lamb stew (Thursday night special) was my entree and was terrific. I found the service to be very good. Not as good as the food, but very good. Definitely a more casual spot. Bread and feta cheese in olive oil was also a highlight.
