Chicken Kabob Dinner - with greek potatoes and roasted vegetables

I love Esperia! It is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The greek salad dressing is insanely good. Their meal portions are a great size and the food is fresh and well-seasoned. 10/10 recommend

Been craving some greek food, so decided to check out this place in Brighton. When you first walk in, you can either order takeout or dine in. We decided to eat in. I ordered the Spinach Pie Dinner which came with two sides and a greek salad. The dressing on the salad is magical. I don't know what the secret ingredient is but it's soooooo good. They actually sell bottles of it behind the counter so I decided to buy one to bring home. I heard the lady at the table behind me say she wanted to buy a bottle too. It's that good. The spinach pie filling was good too, as was the rice and green beans. They also serve a bowl of warm pita bread before your meal. Tip: dip a little into your salad dressing...you'll thank me later My friend ordered the chicken gyro and she liked it too. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the overall vibes inside are good. They do have a private parking lot (shared with Dunkins) but it's super tiny and watching the cars come in and out of it was making me anxious. I suggest trying to find street parking. Will be back!

I was excited to try a new Greek restaurant because even though I cook some of the food, there are not too many restaurants that I actually like but this one I liked. They had lots on the menu, but I wanted the chicken gyro. It comes with a side salad with is a plus cuz it has the best dressing I ever tasted. The chicken gyro was cooked well and very tasty. It wasn't dry like some places. My daughter ordered the spinach pie with green beans and rice as the sides. That was a tasty dish as well. The restaurant is small but very pleasant. Lovely pictures of Greece, really cozy and warm when you are there. I enjoyed it, especially being cold day. You can get some things to go like deserts, the salad dressing, which is a big plus! We bought one. I would definitely come back and try something else. So happy I came.

The food is five stars every time! Whether you're sitting in or taking out it never misses. There is nothing better than this salad dressing! The gyro is consistently good as well. It's pretty no-frills on the inside and the parking lot barely fits three cars so be prepared to look on the street.

There are so many Mediterranean spots in the city that it's easy for them to blend together in my head, but Esperia Grill is a restaurant that stands out! I tried their chicken gyro on pita ($15.35) which came with a side of Greek salad. The gyro alone is slightly cheaper at $12.05. I highly recommend getting the Greek salad side because their salad dressing is herby, garlicky, and creamy! The gyro itself was super tasty. The chicken was flavorful and had a char to it without being dry. I loved how fluffy the pita was! The bread was chewy and soaked up all the juices from the chicken without falling apart. We also got their fries ($5.45) which had this crispy battered coating that added a lot of flavor.

I love this hidden gem of a restaurant! If you're looking for an authentic Greek restaurant with reasonable pricing, come here! Food: We got the Lamb Shank dish and Moussaka. The lamb fell off the bone beautifully, very tender and not dry at all! The sauce paired perfectly with the lamb. We got it with lemony potatoes and rice and I loved how strong the lemon flavor was on the potatoes! This was my first time having Moussaka and I loved it! The layers of cream, cheese, potato, eggplant, tomato, and beef all blended together in a beautiful harmony. Ambiance: This is a very casual, local spot. You can tell the owners are invested in the community which is so great to see! Every time I drive by this place during dinner time they are packed! Price: Prices are not bad at all. Each plate is about $20 each but comes with the entree and two sides. The Moussaka was $13 and so worth. Overall would go again (and I've gone again after my first experience already!) and everyone should check it out!

This is a cute, homey little grill with some pretty great tasting food. I ordered a chicken pita (and switched out the greek salad for some fries) which left me very full and satisfied. This isn't quite the best pita/gyro I've had before but it's still a pretty solid option. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, making it a great spot to dine-in!

I really wish I could have given a better review. I placed a big order and was super excited to try this place out. On the first bite of baklava I got a 2 by 2 inch piece of plastic that I nearly choked on. I immediately called the restaurant to alert them of this and they seemed unfazed. I then asked for a refund for the 2 pieces I ordered since I didn't want to eat the second one after having plastic in the first and the guy on the phone was super short tempered, rude and snarky. After he abruptly put me on hold, he came back saying that the best thing he could do was refund me $6 and to either take it or leave it and then had me reread him my card number to charge me for the entire $115+ dinner again. Food was mediocre at best which I didn't mind, but the nasty attitude completely ruined any chance of me coming back.

#3 Chicken Gyro with side salad It's incredible!

The dips were all good. The whipped feta was creamy, the eggplant had that nice smoky depth and the taramosalata was super interesting, very briny in the best "yes, this is definitely roe" kind of way. Only note is that the Horiatiko Psomi (house bread) could've been warm/toasted for my preference especially given the price of the dips, I expected the bread to be a little more elevated too Then we got the Lahanodolmades (cabbage stuffed with beef and pork, rice, mint, avgolemono). Well seasoned, the cabbage was tender without falling apart and that lemony avgolemono sauce tied everything together- it was bright and savory. For mains, we shared the Moschari me Damaskina (red wine-braised beef cheeks with prunes, trahanas) and Arni stin Souvla (slow-roasted lamb leg). The beef cheek was ridiculously tender- like barely touch it and it falls apart. Rich, slightly sweet from the prunes, with that warm spice note of the cinnamon that balanced the tomato acidity really nicely. The lamb was cooked well and definitely tasty but nothing super extravagant compared to other Greek lamb dishes I've had. Still really yummy especially with the onions and a squeeze of lemon cutting through the lamb. Portion-wise, the pricing felt a little high for what you get but the ambience is beautiful, definitely a great date night spot. Low lighting, cozy, feels elevated without being stuffy

Ironically, I found this place when I was looking up ice cream. They serve authentic Turkish ice cream, and it's been something I've been wanting to try. In addition to the ice cream, I ordered Manti (Turkish dumplings) and Uludag soda (which they say is a Turkish ginger ale). I loooooooooved the Manti. While the dumplings were filled with meat, the dish overall felt light since each dumpling is like the size of a quarter. The dumplings had a nice chew, and the sauces made the dish rich yet creamy. The Uludag soda was definitely much lighter than a ginger ale. Tasted like a light citrusy drink, and it's less sweet than American sodas. The ice cream had a nice pull and chew, although it didn't look as stretchy as Turkish ice creams I've seen. Nice amount of pistachio flavor throughout. I came on a weekday lunch, so there was ample seating inside. Ordering is done via a QR code on your table or on a tablet stand in the middle of the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great experience overall.

When you first walk in, it's a bit quiet and you have to wait for someone to come from the back to greet you, but be patient because once you're seated, service is attentive and available whenever you need it. There are lots of rustic-looking tables, which give it a sort of homey feel, and some tables can fit 12+, so they can definitely accommodate large groups. My colleagues always get something different, but I get the same thing every time: the grilled boneless pork shoulder and it is so good. The pork shoulder is a bit fatty and comes out juicy and flavorful from the grill - droolworthy. It comes with sauerkraut, but it's not your typical sauerkraut; it's more like a mild slaw with just enough acid to cut through the fatty pork. Also comes with your choice of side and sauce. The garlic toom is the only option in my opinion (of course, they have others), but get ready to have kickin' breath for the rest of the day. Others have gotten the lamb tongue, lentil soup, falafel, beef shawarma, borscht, pelmeni, eggplant rolls, and they have all been hits. Don't think I would ever come out of my way to this restaurant if I didn't know about it, but it's totally worth the trip!

We also ordered the chicken kebabs and roasted jerk chicken. The kebabs were a great portion with tender chicken, some greens, and grains.
