I'm always one to get quotes from more than one vendor. My neighbor, a general contractor recommended a (Foresthill) company And after much research on my part I decided to go with a tank model - a Bradford White direct vent (commercial model) Divide Plumbing's owner, Shad and his son were quick to respond and after I finally quit deciding tank or tankless I decided on a TANK style (Bradford White direct vent) above. Divide Plumbing was excellent and they got the water heater and it was installed on the 2nd day. Our water heater was on a lower level and access was a bit of a challenge... they handled it with aplomb. Most impressively, after the install they went around the house turning on EVERY faucet (shower, tubs, sinks etc. and clearing the 21 years of sediment that had accumulated in the pipes. They also cleaned an under sink 'trap' of sediment that I didn't even know existed. The result of this action was a lot of increased pressure on our kitchen sink and more HOT water. Divide only had one other Yelp review and it was a 1 . I can't comment on this review... but I do know that I will HIGHLY recommend this company to others! Their prices were significantly lower than other quotes.

Found out that our backflow for irrigation was leaking for what was probably years in the making…read more Called a bunch of plumbers and none of them seemed to know much about fixing backflows. Jim from Bills Backflow Service came out and literally had the gaskets and parts for my backflow (on my 15 yr old house in lincoln) and fixed it in 20 minutes (in the 105 degree heat). I offered to hold an umbrella and bring him cold water and he wouldnt let me but i did anyway. He was a great guy and really knows backflows as he works on public buildings and if you need backflow testing or fixing call Jim! He's a great local guy and has a beautiful dog that he brings too! Also he charged a fourth of what another plumber in Sac quoted (after seeing these pics.) I have never in my life tipped a plumber but did so today!(20%, too!)
