They fixed the problem and charged a reasonable fee! It was that good. He didn't try to upsell or replace anything. He just got the job done! read more

Professional, Reliable, and Top-Notch Work! We had Hoppers Plumbing handle all the plumbing for our two renovations, (bathrooms and kitchen) and Hoppers Plumbing was fantastic from start to finish. They answer the phone right away and are very polite and knowledgeable. The plumbers are punctual, polite, and clearly know their craft. They ask questions before coming out so all the details are known and the work gets done right the first time. On site they explained everything and made sure the work was neatly installed, and functioning properly. All the appliance and owners manuals were neatly gathered for our use. They also kept the workspace clean and finished right on schedule. High quality work from professional and efficient plumbers! Highly recommend! read more

I don't know the name of the woman I first talked to regarding my invoice, but the first thing she told me was that the invoice was "correct" because the plumber's "timecard " says so. She told me the timecard says he was here 3 1/2 hours. He arrived at my house 8:15 AM and finished approximately 10:45 AM and spent at least 10 minutes outside writing up my invoice and came back into my house at 11:00 AM. That is not 3 1/2 hours, that is closer to 2 1/2 hours. She was defensive and argumentative with me from the beginning. I was not treated well as a customer, you were not much better, Jacobb. All I wanted was to have my bill explained to me. I don't know how you expect your customers to be OK with being handed an invoice of nearly $1000.00 with no documentation of how much labor was charged and how much was spent on parts. There was absolutely no time in and out documented, that is potentially a problem and is definitely a problem in my situation. I just wanted to understand my bill. And I don't understand why you keep listing everything I had repaired/serviced at my house. This is the third time you have listed my repairs, once on the invoice, once over the phone, once on the reply to my review. I know what I had done, that is not the issue. Jacobb, if you would like to make this right, you call me, I am not calling your office. read more

Had a water softener system break and Jacob, the owner, came out very quickly to install a temporary bypass so that we could have water until a new setup was installed. Within a few days Ben, the tech, was there with the new setup and had it up and running very quickly. GREAT service, GREAT people and Mary at the office was amazingly helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Hoppers for all water needs. read more

We needed toilet repairs. It was easy to call and set up appointment. Tommy called before arrival. He was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. All issues taken care of with no problems. I just got charged $840 for them to replace a mixer valve on my tankless water heater. The part was approx $100. The technician was worried about the water temp fluctuation and called the phone number on the water heater and sat on hold for at least 2 hours. He was told by the call center person not to worry about it, and the water temp suddenly stopped fluctuating. I was FURIOUS when I saw the invoice. Yes, I get it that I must pay for their time, but watching him sit on hold for 2 hours? I will NEVER go back there again as a widow w four kids-I literally feel like I have been robbed. They should have given me a quote before they started, but I didn't think to ask because I was in a work meeting online. Unless you are very rich and love being taken advantage of, look elsewhere!!!! read more

I called Hoppers because of their Yelp rating and the professional look of their website. They did not disappoint. Jacob arrived promptly after giving me a call to say he was on his way. He was polite, easy-going, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He then discussed with me a question I had about a recirculating pump and was very knowledgeable. It is so nice to know that we now have our plumbing needs met in the future. You will not be disappointed with this company. read more

We had Tommy out today from Hopper's plumbing to fix our shower cartridge. He did a great job. We could not be more pleased.

Technician Tommy was excellent, Prompt, courteous, and efficient. He discussed our needs and quickly diagnosed each room. We needed multiple toilets upgraded and replaced. Prior to beginning we discovered a tank height issue and he help us with the remedy even though it creates additional work for him. He finished the job in good time. Hopper plumbing was truly a pleasure to work with and we will definitely call them again for our plumbing needs. read more

Our 20 year old gas water heater was having problems, but Hopper's was able to fix it quickly and cheaply. They sell "tankless" water heaters and we are considering this option when we replace the unit (very soon). Based on our initial repair call, we would recommend this company enthusiastically. read more

The short version: Down to earth, listens to your needs, makes recommendations based upon your needs and budget, has enough staff to be able to handle large and small projects. Reasonably priced. The longer version: I moved to a house in the foothills that was 80+ years old awhile ago, knowing it was going to need help. It soon became apparent that my septic system was having problems. As the repairs progressed, the situation became dire. Jacobb was able to suggest and implement solutions that would work for us long-term and be well within our budget. Truly a lifesaver--so much so that we asked him to help us with another major problem with our property: our well water. Although we've lived on this property over three years, we have never been able to drink the water, have never had enough of it to be able to irrigate on our property, and it's acidic and excruciatingly hard to boot. Jacobb suggested a means that would allow us to store the water so that we could irrigate, as well as separate out our drinking/home use water from that intended for irrigation. And, once again, he was willing to work with us and the project came well within what our family could afford. Two of the biggest problems a family can have in a foothill home--handled! Very highly recommended. read more

Once again, Hoppers Plumbing, did a fantastic job for us!!! This time it was to cap off water lines to a couple of sinks that we will be taking out soon. Not only was Tommy on time (actually he was able to be early) but he was fast, efficient and very thorough! We use Hoppers again and again for our plumbing needs. You should too. You'll be glad you did. read more

We've been using Hopper's since we moved into our house over 8 years ago. Jacob has always been reliable, honest, and fair. I recommend him to everyone I know. He's done a number of projects on our home: installed a tankless water heater, installed an under sink filter in our kitchen, worked on our irrigation pump, installed a water tank for our well, replaced a pump when it went out on us, worked with us to install water lines to a newly installed patio...all was done with great communication and professionalism. read more

Hoppers plumbing provided awesome service for our kitchen remodel including relocating sink and water lines.

Called Hoppers Plumbing to resolve a plumbing issue. They scheduled the appointment and arrived early the next morning. This is the plumber you want to hire if you expect great customer service, terrific work ethic, and the job done right! Jacob was exceptional as well as his co-worker. They re-piped my entire place on a day with the temperature in the upper 90's and my air conditioning system out but they never slowed down. I'm so grateful my friend recommended Hopper's to me. I totally trust Hopper's because I know I'll get quality service. read more

Ya know how a service tells you when to expect them and then they show up a couple of hours late? Hopper's told me 8-8:30 and they showed up at 7:59 !!! Talk about great service! Jacob the Owner made a visit to our home when we had a septic problem 20 min before dark. He spent an hour and had us up and running with a new float valve that I was suprised he had in his work van. Had Hopppers come out to replace 3 valves. One valve is leaking and we were assured that he would swing by sometime to fix it (it's outside so not an urgent interior leak). Well almost a year later still no stop by. We recently contacted Hoppers again to say "hey, please come fix the leak" as well as to replace another valve. So far no responses or return calls to schedule an appointment, it has been three weeks. So out of 3 valves-2 were good, one leaks and now the guy won't call back. I don't recommend them. read more

They put in a tankless water heater and recirc pump. What a fantastic job. First class installation and we get hot water to the other end of the house rapidly so not wasting water like we had. Very professional. Recommend Jacob to do your job! read more

Hoppers Plumbing was recommended to us by a neighbor, and we are very satisfied with all aspects of Jacobb Hoppers's installation of a hot-water dispenser and a tankless water heater: his assessment of our needs and recommendations, his knowledge of the equipment, his pricing of the project, his planning of the work, and the quality of the final installation. He and his associate, Guy, were very organized, neat and orderly, and timely in their approach and completion of our all-day project. We are very happy with the results. And though Hoppers Plumbing is located in Weimar, travelling to our Sacramento home was not an issue. Ron R. read more

I had Jacob and Tommy come out to install a sump pump in a 68 year-old basement that experienced periodic flooding during extended rains. This problem had plagued us for the 19 years that we've lived here. General Plumbing Supply in Auburn had recommended Hoppers as the best in the area, and our experience confirmed that. Jacob returned my call the same day and we set up an appointment for early the next week. The work was completed the same day and the prIce was consistent with the work performed. I wIll use, and recommend Hoppers, for future plumbing needs. Great job, guys. read more
