Did their underground cameras, told me I needed to be pumped. $1300 inspection, $3800 pump with a third-party vendor about whom they knew little. Hard time getting estimates in writing. After spending $5100 was told my tanks were cracked, my leach field was failing, they recommended a brand new system A-Z for $28,000 and I would be credited some of the $5100 toward the new system, but my total costs were going to be over $30,000. That was late December 2024. I asked them to send me a detailed proposal and that I would entertain other bids as well, but they would have had an inside track because they would have credited me some of the earlier work. Except I never heard from them again. I contacted them twice in January and never heard back. Never saw a proposal. Were they spooked that I would take other bids and find out how outrageous their pricing was? Did it concern them that I was left with a broken system and it possibly could have been ugly? Did they just take the money and run? I have no idea, but something seems off.

Eddie with Eagleview Landscaping is actually how I found Joe with The Plumbing Pros, and I'm so…read moreglad he connected us! After our main water-line repair, our water pressure suddenly became extremely low. Eddie came back to check everything and, when it became clear we needed a plumber, he personally reached out to Joe, someone he trusted, which speaks volumes to begin with, to help us get to the bottom of it! Joe came out, diagnosed the pressure issue, and got our water pressure working properly again! Right away, I could tell he was a seasoned professional who knew his stuff. What really impressed me was that while he was there, his experience helped him spot a couple of other things I never would have known to look for. He replaced our toilet fill valve and noticed our older plastic toilet water-supply line was already showing its age and could eventually fail or burst. He replaced that with a braided stainless-steel supply line as well. I wish I had taken before pictures, but I'm definitely glad we caught these things when we did! That's why having a seasoned professional you can trust matters. Joe fixed the problem he originally came out for, but he also had the experience to recognize potential problems before they turned into bigger, more expensive ones. He explained what he was seeing, and I never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn't need. Joe definitely earned himself a returning customer. The Plumbing Pros is officially going on my "people to call again" list! Rex Pro Tip: Joe leaves you a refrigerator magnet for $25 OFF your next repair, KEEP IT! Put it on the fridge with his number handy. And considering my house is about as prehistoric as I am, I have a feeling Joe and that little magnet may be hearing from this T-Rex again. 5 ROARS from Focusaurus Rex
