First.., let me say I don't post a lot of reviews... I had countertops installed... they are ok, but I find they chip easily. I only have one seam, and it's poor. It wasn't bad at installation, but the filler they used sinks creating a groove where things get caught. I have spoken to Josh and requested that he come out to out to look at this, to no avail. I used Granite Transformations of Nashville when I lived there and had an exceptional experience, and felt confident using this franchise again. Unfortunately the franchise is only as good as the owner. read more

Never given a copy of contract and when we notified them that we wanted to hold off until spring they said we canceled past the 3 day period that they said was in the contract... charged us a $2200 so called restocking fee. I think I will follow up and file a small claims suit... we called to get the contract and money sent to us and no one responded read more

We loved the work in the kitchen so much that we invited Granite Transformations back out to bid on bathroom work for our two bathrooms. Once again Shireen was a fantastic helper in selecting the best palette and working with us on what we wanted (which included floor to ceiling granite in the shower as well as a granite ceiling). As with the kitchen the installers were great guys, got the work done quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They installed a tile shower pan, sleeved the tub, and installed granite surrounds in both bathrooms (including the ceiling) much more quickly than anticipated. The plumber they work with, Scott, did a great job updating the plumbing and installing new fixtures with minimal demolition. I recommend Granite Transformations for kitchen and bath work! read more

Sales rep. Steve F. came over to give us a quote for a cabinet refacing in November. We were told it would take one hour. He stayed for 3.5--much of it was him telling us about his health problems. We were annoyed it took so much of our precious time and that we were told it would only be an hour (Steve cannot stop talking). At the end when we asked for the quote he said "Oh no you need to come to our showroom before I can give you a quote. I need to show you samples." All the other companies brought door samples with them. We told him we didn't want to drive an hour to go to the showroom. He insisted it was the only way and we needed to see their beautiful showroom. We reluctantly drove to Arvada to see the showroom. It was ok but totally unnecessary. The door samples would have been fine. We wasted another 4 hours on that trip. I emailed and phoned Steve 6 times asking for our quote over the next 4 months and Steve said he would send it in 24 hours but never did. Finally I got a hold of the accounting office who apologized for Steve and they gave me a quote over the phone based on the # of openings we had which is all they needed to give a quote. I am angry that we wasted 8 hours of time with Steve. when we were promised we'd get a quote after an hour in person visit. The quote was $2,000 more than the other company we chose (Custom Classic Cabinetry) and that was using the RTF (plastic doors) which look very fake. We love the company we chose which has gorgeous real wood doors and outstanding customer service. read more

Juliette fed us all the wrong information. She had the quote screwed up, measurements off, and misinformed us on the timeline. We where told a one day install and that the project would be completed in January or February which was 4-5 months after signing the contract. We just finished the project, total of almost 9 months of waiting, over a week to do the install. No one at the office could provide us a straight answer as to when the materials to do our install would arrive. Final product turned out nice, not a good company to deal with. My experience with GT was very easy, professional and - best of all - the results look great. I'm remodeling my townhouse for rent. I put a request form through the GT website and someone reached out in the next day or so to set up the initial consult. I worked with a man by the name of Ryder and he was punctual, polite, professional and fun to work with. He explained the process very well, offered a quote, and was very low-pressure. No pressure, really. I went ahead with the bid and scheduled work. Here's how the process went: 1) Day 1 - guy came by and measured my counters so they could create the overlay template 2) About 4 or 5 days later some other guys came over to do the install 3) The day after that, the plumber came to plumb the sink. That's it. I am THRILLED with how the new counters look and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend them or use them again in a heart beat. read more

Communication has been extremely poor. It was easy enough to get our first consultation scheduled, but when I emailed and called (multiple times, at multiple times of day) the week before the appointment to get it rescheduled, I couldn't get ahold of anyone. Finally, the day before my appointment, I got a call from GT but not to return my phone call; they were calling because THEY needed to reschedule. Apparently they do not read emails or listen to voicemails, because the lady didn't know what I was talking about when I said I've been trying to reach someone. Anyways, we rescheduled the consultation to this morning at 8 AM. I even got a call from the place yesterday, confirming my 8 AM appointment. Finally at 9 AM the consultant showed up. He was a nice gentleman but he explained he understood 8 was when he was supposed to leave his office, not show up here. I didn't really have time to START the appointment an hour later so I unfortunately had to send him away. However, with how completely disastrous just the consultation scheduling has been (and reading similar reviews), I think I've saved myself a ton of headache by not working with this company. read more

From the first call through the final installation of my beautiful countertop I experienced top notch customer service. I was welcomed by Samantha and she answered my questions and set up an appointment for a quote. Courtney came out and helped me choose the best option based on the colors and style of my kitchen. Tom accurately measured for the final installation where Mark and Damias worked quickly and efficiently to install. Gene, the general manager was a pleasure and I give him kudos for having such a great team. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable, considerate and quick to answer any question or concern I had along the way. The job went much more smoothly than I could have ever expected and I can't be happier with the outcome. In June I called to get details and have a consultation. On June 13th we had the salesperson come to our house. She showed us a few countertop options even though we were told there would be many options. We had countertops done in our kitchen, half bath, master bathroom and tub, and main bathroom. Total cost $7,214 On June 21st they came to measure. On July 30th they installed. Today is September 12th. We have not received a follow up call, email, or even a letter by regular mail to ask how it went or to even thank us for our business. Nothing at all! Well, here's how it went. Installation The kitchen island was measured incorrectly. As a result, the installers had to completely bust the tile countertop and place new counter over the broken counter. Hope that stands the test of time! Our kitchen sink and master bathtub have extremely visible seams. Not kinda visible, but very visible. Our master bath counter and tub have so many missing areas in the mosaic that you can see right through because of these defects. It's just see through! Ugh! After the installation, we opened the drawers and were shocked by the thick dust covering everything! This should have been communicated because we would have been more than happy to remove the drawers. As a result, it took us hours to empty and clean everything in the drawers and the drawers themselves. In addition, I placed everything back under the main bathroom sink. My son then used the sink and there was water pouring out everywhere from under the cabinet. Most items were ruined. My husband had to install the drain because that was completely missed. Since they were here all day because of the mess up with the kitchen island, they rushed through the master tub and did a horrible job. We've waited over a month to discuss this with someone assuming since they took more than $7,200 from us they might want to know how it went or at least thank us for our business. But nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is a franchise and I highly suggested you go to a different franchisee because this one could care less. read more

I hired Trend Transformations January 2018 for a complete bathroom remodel because they had better prices than 4 other contractors that gave me estimates. They did a fabulous job on everything from helping me design the bathroom making sure the colors in the floor tile, shower and vanity counter blended together well. They completed the job promptly and did a fantastic job. October someone removed my towel bar and put it back loose. I called Trend Transformations because I didn't know what to do and they came out and re attached it properly. I will use them again for my other bathroom and kitchen remodel. read more

While we love our new kitchen that was installed last winter by Trend, our bathroom vanity issue is another story. When Todd first started the company back in 2004/5 we had them install a new top on our bathroom vanity. The top was manufactured with sea shells imbedded into the surface and it was a beautiful addition to our bathroom. Fast forward ten or so years...we generally attend the Colorado Home and Garden Show and Granite Transformations (original name for this business) is always in attendance with a booth there...the tops there are nice and smooth, ours was rough feeling. We discussed this with a sales rep and were told that the type of surface we had was discontinued due to the shells deteriorating over time and that our vanity top should be replaced under the original warranty. When we decided to have them replace our kitchen countertops and add a new backsplash, we were told that our vanity top issue would be addressed and replaced under warranty...Great!! Well, no, because we have called and visited the showroom over and over and we get absolutely NOWHERE with them. No one will return our calls and all of the sales people that we have spoken with are no longer there, including the installation manager Adam. Conclusion: they have a wonderful product with a warranty that they will not uphold and absolute zero customer service...the only reason they got 2 stars is because of the product. We even referred my husband's sister to them and she had her kitchen counter tops replaced as well...of course this was before we knew about the poor customer service. We have been looking to get our kitchen done for some time now. The sales rep Steve came and for 3 plus hours he told us about his health issues. I worked in the medical field and he was asking me a ton of questions about health related issues. I just want my kitchen done! We decided to go with them and Steve called 2 times saying he was going to be close to 2 hours late for our signing of paperwork. I'm guessing that my time is not important. Steve then told us that "hey if you don't want to do this job then you can find someone else" no Steve I just want you to give me respect and show up on time. I walked away from that conversation feeling that my time is not important. It makes me wonder how the install is going to go? Can someone call me!!! read more

We've had Granite Transformations do two projects for us over the years. The most recent was our bathroom remodel in May of 2018. We are still happy with the results and every day we are pleased with the decisions we made. I thought the experience was good, although it took longer than planned due to the unavailability of certain products from the manufacturer overseas. The customer service was great and we feel this company is responsive when there are issues, which is inevitable with a big project. I did recommend Granite Transformations to a neighbor for their kitchen and they hired them to do the work. My neighbors were pleased as well. I was pleasantly surprised to have received a referral check in the mail a few weeks ago without even asking for it! read more

I did my homework. Their product is more expensive than the cheapest slab granite but considerably less than high end slab granite. But you also have to consider you are comparing apples to oranges. For me their product is far superior as it is sealed and maintenance free. Our entire project was seamless from the initial consultation with Juliette to the final installation of our kitchen counters, bathroom counters and new shower enclosure. I will be hiring them for our next project at the cabin. Can't wait! read more

Terrible company and customer service. I did not have a great experience with this company. First off, it took 3-4 months to get the installation complete. I get places are super busy nowadays, but I spoke with their sales lady in mid-March and she all but guaranteed me it would be done before June, which I made clear when we talked. Low and behold, they call a week later to schedule and the earliest is June 7. Okay, not the end of the world, but still a little annoying. I finally had the install done yesterday and there were a few issues. They were supposed to be at my place around 1000 and didn't show up until noon. No text/phone call or heads up when they would be arriving. I had to leave and run a few errands and showed the installer where the new faucet was. He said no problem and I thought he was going to hook it up. When I got home about 4 hours later, they were already gone and the faucet wasn't hooked up. I called prior to coming home to get an update and I was sent directly to voicemail and never given a call back. I also saw that they left my old kitchen sink on my patio and didn't even have the decency to throw it away. I always expect my place to be left in the condition it was found and it was found with running water and no sink on my patio. The countertops look good but I will never use this company again. I would've used a different place knowing what I know now. Screw these people...Cheers. read more

On my 3rd call for Warranty work, I was able to speak with Courtney - she was great! Immediately scheduled someone to come out the next week for repairs. (Not sure why my previous 2 phone messages were never returned). The workman they sent was very personable, and worked quickly to fill in some of the 'holes' in my counter tops, as well as repairing the corner edge - see picture attached. I'm happy with the repair work completed. Still have minor little pits - clearly excluded on the Warranty. Overall, still not happy with this product. read more

The initial meeting in our home for a consultation was great. The salesman was very professional and new his product. Fast forward a month (the week of install) and we could not get anyone to call us or to return our calls to verify the installation. The installers did show up on the 12th of July as scheduled in May. As they proceeded to tear out my old materials, the office staff called to inform me that my shower accent was on back order. Since we ordered the same materials for the kitchen and the bathroom I had to ask if my kitchen was going to be finished. She had no idea what I was talking about and had to call her boss and call me back. She called 30 minutes later to let me know that both my kitchen and 2 bathrooms were not going to be finished due to the backordered items. I informed her at that time that had I known that was the case we would have waited to install.They also ordered the wrong sinks for my 2 bathrooms...nothing has gone smoothly. It is now 12 days later and I have had 0 updates as to the status of my"backordered" items. I have left 2 messages this week asking the status and to please give me a call. As of today I have 2 bathrooms and a kitchen that are unfinished and multiple calls that are once again not being returned. read more

I needed to have granite installed in my kitchen and bathrooms and wanted to get a few quotes. Initially, everything was great. I had great treatment and all of my questions answered in the showroom. They showed up to our appointment for measurements and they were on time and efficient. The deal breaker was the quote. The project for my kitchen and bathrooms was estimated to cost TWICE the amount of another quote I had which was for real granite! What the what?! In real numbers, I paid $4000 to hire a company that installed quartz and granite. Granite Transformations quoted me at $7800. That is insane. Do your homework. Chances are you can get it for less somewhere else. read more

Our counter, backsplash and cabinets turned out great. The only problem was my lazy susan doors. They didn't make the doors right. It took months for them to try to resolve the issue, but they never fixed it right. Nobody from management EVER contacted us. They told us they would not charge my credit card for the full amount until everything was finished. They lied. They charged my card for the full amount and then it took me calling over and over again to have my cabinets fixed right. That never did happen. The worst part is that Granite does not send anyone over to make sure the work is done right and that the customer is satisfied. read more

I was going to get my kitchen done and saw adds in the mall for Granite Transformations, It seemed like a pretty good idea. And according to them, it is cheaper as you don't have to tear out the original counter. (Hence you save some). Contacted the Office in Denver, they sent over a salesperson (Steven) to take the measurement and give an estimate. The estimate was more than installing real granite, but I succumbed to the designs they had and decided to go ahead with them. I asked them to give me a few days to think about the price as it was more than the real thing. Eventually I decided I was going to go for it but I would try a smaller area first (bar-top) to check out how it would look before I broke the bank on the complete kitchen counter installment. Visited their office in Denver and told them what I was thinking, they said it is fine and no job is too small for them and they will have to make some adjustment with the delivery date and get back to me about it. 2 months have passed, called them up, haven't heard back.... I think, I was lucky. I didn't make any initial payment. Absolutely outstanding company and service. I worked with salesman Kyle See who came and advised me and explained the process of installing new counter tops in advance. He was extremely informative, patient and flexible time-wise. I ended up going with his exact recommendations. The process is: a guy comes in and does detailed measuring--a precise complicated process, then a couple of guys come and install; then a plumber comes (sometimes the next day) to complete installing the sink which was included in the overall price. The plumber who came was described as "the best plumber in the world." All the work was done on time and absolutely seamlessly--no problems at all. The workmen are extremely polite, professional and hardworking--minimal noise, and no mess at all. I have been so impressed by this company that I will definitely ask them to do another kitchen because they also make cabinets. The pricing is modest compared with astronomical prices being charged for even minor remodels. The company is a franchise and so I want to stress I am writing this review for the store on 60th Avenue in Arvada. I also went in person to the workshop to explore different color options in the show room--it's nicely done. I ended up going with what Kyle originally suggested and have received numerous compliments. I am more than satisfied and SO grateful. Thanks so much to all who contributed. read more

After a slow, frustrating start (they went through a major ownership/management change, they told me), I was generally very happy with the work that they did on my kitchen. Tom did most of the hands-on work and I thought his work was excellent--I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. The other workers did a great job too. All were friendly and professional. I am a little disappointed in the new low-flow faucet that was installed (subcontracted out). However, I can live with it. Again, overall, I'm very happy with my new kitchen. read more

Working with Courtney was terrible. She is unreliable, forgetful, scattered, and unprofessional. I started this process back in April. I eventually abandoned this company after getting ghosted by Courtney yet again. Courtney was initially responsive, eager to get their crew working during the lock down, then ghosted. She said some personal issues had delayed her responses. Fine, I get it, but working with her did not get any better from there. In May, I asked if I could work with someone else and was told that everything had to go through Courtney anyway. I had no choice but to stick with her and would get bits and pieces of my questions and bids completed over the next few months. She was constantly forgetting something or leaving something out. I never got a complete bid and I was told I would be getting a 20% discount, but their prices in her partial quotes did not seem to reflect any discount as the prices from other Yelp reviews is even lower than her quote, which contained mathematical and spelling errors. It was very frustrating to have to try so damn hard to work with this company which only has meh reviews. This whole process drug on and on and on, with us never getting a complete quote or any further correspondence from Courtney. read more

What a nightmare. I would think twice before using Granite Transformations. Remodeling your home is supposed to be a good experience, for us it has been the worst experience. We were told if they had to put a seam in the kitchen counter top we wouldn't be able to tell where it is, not true the seam is noticeable and raised. They installed the kitchen, and half the counter top in the main bathroom, where supposed to come back the next day to finish but since they installed the wrong counter top and wrong color sink in the bathroom they didn't come back the next day. This left us with no water in the main bathroom because they didn't drill the hole in the counter top for the faucet and the kitchen unfinished. It took them 2 weeks to come back and finish the kitchen and per my request drill a hole in the incomplete/wrong bathroom counter top so we could put in a faucet. They ordered the wrong size and color sinks for our 3 bathrooms twice. They lack communication you have to keep reaching out to them to find out what is going on. It took them 4 weeks from the initial install date to complete the project and were not willing to compensate us in any way for the inconvenience and stress they cause our family. read more

We had been looking to redo our upper kitchen cabinets for quite a while. Very sorry we ever heard about these people. Steve started our process in January. Kyle came on board in March as Steve was out. Quite a bit was "left out" during the shift of people. We were shown a sample cabinet (Natural Hickory) that would work with our kitchen. Three days (Friday) prior to install, we got a call that the cabinets weren't ready.. It was another month before they would be. Meanwhile I had emptied all my cabinets and was living with everything in my dining room. When they finally came to install (end of June) our cabinets are all wrong! Spoke with Adam who checked around and basically told us this is what you ordered and we will come back and fix the one side after you pay us. Sorry--we will pay after we are happy. It is the middle of July and still not resolved. For anyone reading this, this is a very short version of this process. Update 8-23-2016. What a great business. We had dropped a glass on the edge of the counter which resulted in a large chip. I called Granite Transformations and asked how to repair it. I sent a few pictures of the damage. Instead they scheduled a time for a representative to come by and take a look. Adam was here this morning at exactly the scheduled time and repaired the damage (as well as a few other spots) for no charge! As with the installation, Adam was neat and fast - 45 minutes total. I give it one star for the product. But the product's no good without the service. When my wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen we went to the GT showroom. We found a product we liked and scheduled and in-home consultation. That was well over a month ago. We still have not gotten a written quote. And, what he verbally quoted over the phone was $100/sq ft!!! Despite the cost we wanted to go forward. We called the sales guy (Colby) several times and he kept saying that the bid was coming. It never did. What really stinks is that the franchises are set for particular area, so if you live in Denver...you're kind of stuck with these knuckleheads. read more

Unprofessional work and terrible customer service. The company told us our project would be completed in 2-3 weeks, and it was not finished for over 4 MONTHS. There were many issues with items not ordered correctly, actual materials different from samples, contract was vague and did not include items discussed and promised by the salesperson, and we were then told we would be charged more to include. Any time we made attempts to call we had to leave a message and the call was often not returned for two to three weeks. Then when the project reached "substantial completion" from the company perspective we were called multiple times per day by someone demanding payment. There were still many major items incomplete. We found it extremely aggravating that when we wanted some communication on progress of the project, we could barely get a call back and then when it came time that something was wanted from us we were being harassed multiple times per day with calls demanding payment. read more
