Like MANY of my neighbors in the Woodbridge Community I've finally had to have foundation repair. Next door had hers done just 6 mo. ago but didn't even consider her contractor after I saw potential problems that I'm guessing will resurface within the next few years. So went with a trusted neighbor down the street that told me about Granite and the fact they use metal piers driven down to bedrock. Contacted Granite and Yancy came out and did some measuring and survey work and found the front of my house was -3" below the rest of the house. Lucky for me, no inside damage (cracked sheetrock) but cracks in bricks, pulled seams on woodwork, etc. Job required 9 piers and found out up to 32 feet to hit bedrock!! Took crew of 5 two full days. Afterward everything back where is should be, 1/2 bath door finally closes! Foreman was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Crew made sure not to mess up 2 new A/C units and any other piping and electrical. Bushes in flowerbeds will have to be replaced but that's part of the process. Finished project was a level house and some mounds of dirt around perimeter, everything else was cleaned up as it was beforehand.
I won't tell the price but can tell you if was SEVERAL thousands LESS than I was expecting. Professional crew, GREAT pricing and would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone needing foundation repair. read more
