I was having issues with the expansion joints from a previous contractor, and Juan came in and fixed them the best that could be done given the condition left behind. While it wasn't exactly the result we had originally hoped for, that's due to the poor workmanship of the initial contractor--not Juan's work. Juan removed the failed material, cleaned the joints properly, installed new backer rod where needed, and applied the sealant with great attention to detail. He was honest about what could realistically be accomplished without replacing the concrete. He had a quick turnaround, completed the job promptly, and left everything looking much cleaner and more professional than before. Update to previous review, Juan took out a portion of our patio and ended up taking out a piece of foundation, ruining our back door and costing us $4,880.34 for a new door and rework of door infrastructure to fix everything. Juan called after I left the previous review, offering to fix everything and pay for the damages if I changed my review. I communicated we would have someone else do the repair and to sit tight. I recently had a driveway extension added on the side of my garage. I cannot recommend this company enough! I have zero complaints through the entire process. I did my due diligence venting companies and had it narrowed down to 3 companies. I've attached the estimate detailing the job specs and price of this one. The 3 estimates I got were $6,900, $6225, & $5300. The company I chose was the cheapest ($5300) but I did not chose them for the price. I reached out to them to extend my patio. The concrete was poured in Oct and immediately looked terrible (see pic 1). I waited 30 days to reach out to them and when I finally did, I was told to wait another 30 days and they would 'try to find a solution' .. I reached out multiple times after their requested waiting time as they became unresponsive. I finally got them to come out in Feb to fix it however it was in no way fixed (see pic 2). It looked almost the same with some bleach looking spots. So.. I reached out again and they said they had to come paint it and wasn't sure when they could come bc I live so far - after pushing I finally got them to actually schedule for March. On the day of, I asked my neighbor to come out and talk to them as they were rude this entire process so I wasnt comfortable being out there myself. They told my neighbor that the paint would dry evenly.. which it did not (see pic 3). We had a big slope in an area we put concrete, and they did a great job at raising the area and making it level. If we would have known they did masonry (they do), we would have had them do the stone/masonry work in our front yard as well. They work on fence repair and remodels, so we plan on using Juan and his crew to create a wider gate to accommodate a riding lawn mower. Their page says speaks Spanish, but Juan also knows English.
