He walked me through troubleshooting my gate and we were easily able to get my gate working again. If you still choose to use him after reading these reviews then be extremely cautious! Do not let him trick you into paying him in full until every last bit of the work is done. It's been 10 months since the fence was installed. I called Alex to replace a rotted fence section, janky gate, and replace an incorrect ridge vent with a roof dryer vent. Response time was great and the fence/gate were completed in a day with a roofer doing the vent the following week. Quotes were much better than the big fence companies in the area. It was time for us to have our wrought iron painted (and repaired) so we did a lot of investigating. We finally settled on Alex and his guys to tackle the job. Last time we had this done it took a couple gents about 2-3 hours to do the whole job and they were gone. They scrubbed off some rust, primed small areas, and painted and gone. This time we're excited to recommend this group who took 3-4 days (mind you there were 4 of us getting job done) and the process was the difference. The prep work of removing rust in full, the primer on the entire fence, the precision of welding out small areas that needed small attention, and the precision of welding the larger panels that needed replacing gave us a perfect result. We had panels replaced (4 as I recall) but the rest were okay and ALL look brand new!! The price was fair, the work was excellent... If you need assistance for anything that their crew handles, do not hesitate to call Alex! Doesn't matter where you live, they definitely work all over DFW. The real benefit here, as far as I'm concerned, this is gonna last a lot longer. After reviewing fellow yelp reviews gave this business a try. Alex came for a free quote but not after being late, which I would come to understand what would be many of his future lies. His quote was far less than the others quoted to do a shared fence w/ my neighbor. At first he seemed ready to work and my neighbors and I gave first deposit to him. Then he put the fence up and told me that he would come in a few weeks to stain it. In 2 weeks noticed parts of the fence cedar pealing and cracking. I paid him the final payment already and said that he would replace any defective wood as per warranty. Days, weeks, and months passed as he would make up excuses to not stain my fence and replace defective wood pieces. I threatened that I would take him to small claims court. He made up excuses like workers being pulled over by police, workers on vacation, his car was wrecked, and anything else he could think of. Finally 3 months after my texting and calling he sent someone to stain and fix the fence. And by that point the door that he installed wouldn't even close properly. Then he put an additional metal pole b/c the fence was installed so poorly he wanted extra fee hundred dollars for that. Keep in mind all this should be covered from my warranty and the simple fact that he poorly installed my fence in the first place. It took him from May 10 to Oct.31, 2019 to complete the stain. Update: 7-21-2010 My latch was not closing on the back gate and he wanted to charge me $50 to fix it, said normally it would be $100 but he's doing me a favor. I paid this guy 4/27/2019 $740, 5/10/2019 $1,268, and 10/31/2019 $250. That would be $2,258 and at least the same amount from my neighbor so he was at close to $5,000 between the both of us. I ask him to come today b/c my latch is not closing and he wants to change me $50! I have attached the pics of the poor wood he initially constructed then be did change b/c I pointed it out to him. If a customer spends close to $5,000 between the both of us and we need something like a latch repaired you want to start up charging us? This fence and materials is only 1 yr old! This is my experience w/ him and how I felt it's up to you as a customer to make your own decision on how you want to proceed. read more

Very impressed! Needed a fence redone after recent TX storms. Called Alex on Saturday (11/9), he stopped by the following Tues for a free quote, and by Wed he scheduled his team to come on Saturday (11/16). They arrived on time and finished in 6 hours. Job included knocking down the old fence, hauling it away, inserting the new fence, and cleaning up. Average cost compared to other quotes, but the quickest turn around of all. Alex is very hard to reach...tried calling on multiple occasions. I scheduled to have a fence fixed with Alex. I calledthe day before to confirm; no response -and he never showed up. He did not give me a courtesy call to let me know that he was not showing up. He did my quote via text message instead of showing up to the property to get an accurate quote. Maybe somebody else's experience will be different, but this is just my personal experience with Alex. Update: 1/18/2020: In response to your post, that is completely incorrect. I initially wanted you to actually go over to the property to take a look at the fence, so that you could see exactly what needed to be done and THEN give me a quote, as any real professional would do. You then stated that you could give me a quote simply from pictures, that you were "too busy" to go over there physically because of the bad weather that occurred (which I understood, but was still confused as to how a professional can give somebody a quote on a fence without having physically gone to the property). I complied, and I sent you pictures as you requested. You then stated that the fence simply needed to be "repaired" based off the pictures I sent, then you gave me a quote for a repair. You then suggested a day to show up to repair the fence. I simply said that date couldn't work because I was at work. I NEVER canceled. We finally agreed on a day that you would show up to repair the fence, which was on a Thursday. Not only did you NOT call the day before to confirm our appointment as you stated you would, you never showed up at all. I called you several times THE DAY BEFORE and the DAY OF, and you never called me back, till this day. And as for you saying I didn't have money, I told you that I did not feel comfortable paying you until you went there physically and let me know what exactly was wrong with the fence. Thankfully, I was able to find a professional the following week who physically went to the property and told me that the entire fence need to be COMPLETELY REPLACED because the wood had rotted, when you said the fence simply needed a "repair" based off of pictures I sent you. Not only that, the professional I worked with responded to all of my calls on time, AND I paid a similar price for replacing an entire fence than the quote you gave me for a "repair" (For anyone interested or reading this, I can provide the guy's number--he was very professional, quick and efficient). In my opinion, because of your lack of professionalism, if I could now give this review zero stars, I would. I am a consumer seeking out your business, and should be treated with courtesy and respect. A simple return call would have gone a long way. read more
