I got a great fence at a great price. The last fence I put up was a little less expensive but was put together with panels from 6-foot unstained bare wood bought at a big-box home improvement store. What a difference two-feet make. And the wood-on-wood, instead of panels, and the staining make a huge difference appearance-wise. Now I have the best-looking fence on my block. And the best part is my dogs won't bark every time my neighbors grill, talk on the phone or aimlessly saunter around their backyard or garage. read more

Express Fence - The gate to my new fence. - Fences & Gates Near Me

Hired them for an HOA job to replace an iron fence and retaining wall. They were great to work with. Mike sent us several options for how we could approach it and visited multiple times to review them and walk the area. They did the work quickly, the quality seems good, and he took care of a couple punch list items our neighbors came up with that were perhaps extra and that he probably didn't have to do. All in all we would definitely recommend and hire them again. read more

The work was done quickly and appears to be done very well! We were happy with the price paid for the work done!

Great job. My fence is still holding up. The price and service was reasonable. It was a seamless process.

Poor customer service and wrong estimate provided missing a key component of the project.

Mike will not meet with you for an estimate. I explained I wanted to move some portions of the fence and discuss options. He said "we don't do in person appointments just for a measurement." How is he going to measure it without knowing what I want to move??? Furthermore, I don't know about you, but I like to meet a person I'm going to do business with. read more

Great service, fast & efficient (true to the name), provided easy & affordable quotes, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it since--even before staining it! I barely had to do anything except pick a fence and write a check, they took care of everything else read more

MIke & his crew at Express Fence did a great job on the install of my electric driveway gate. He gave personal attention to detail, responsive to all my texts; and quick turnaround time with the installation. I highly recommend them. read more

I hired Express fence to replace the entire fence, I was given a quote quickly with all the options available (side by side, board on board, board on board with double trim and top cap). And they even shared a diagram sheet with the measurement and exact $ for each side. I used Yelp message to chat with Mike for all my questions and I was given prompt response. Once after agreed on a quote and signed contract, the materials got delivered a day before the scheduled work. The work was good and I will recommend this business. Attached few before and after photos. read more

After reviewing Express Fence's positive reviews, I completed a detailed request for a quote including pictures. Later, I received a message from Mike V, the Owner saying Hurst is too far for him to go. This/His response is despite Barbara G. one of his positive reviewer's projects was in Hurst. Guess my project was too small...wish he would just have told me that. read more

Pro: reasonable pricing Con: the power washing was poor to just plain bad. Lots of damage to fence that wasn't covered up with new stain. The technician got too close with the nozzle, lousy job. Plus, they got water all over my neighbor's windows, they complained and I had to deal with that. When I mentioned it to Mike, he said they don't deal with neighbor's like that who complain, it's only water. Then he said he wasn't coming back to stain the fence, didn't want the hassle. He comped the pressure wash, but left me hanging on the stain. I had to find another company to apply the stain. Just make sure the company you pick will cover the backside of the fence so the overspray won't cause problems. I wouldn't recommend Express Fence. read more

Mike and the Express Fence team were fantastic! They were great to work with, completed the job a day ahead of schedule, and came in under budget. And our new fence is perfect! Highly recommend! read more

Mike and his crew did a great job on the fence. Mike was very detailed and patient going thru his quote. I ordered a board on board and it was completed within half a day. The quality of the gate is excellent and holding up so far in the Texas heat wave. The gate was sagging because of the heat and I was trying to fix it myself. Eventually, I have given up because I don't know what I was doing. I gave Mike a call to help and he came back to help fix it a few days later. It is refreshing to see someone who is really standing by their products. Will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone! read more

Express Fence - Gate - Fences & Gates Near Me

I am very pleased with the work that was done, the timeframe for scheduling and completion as the price. While we had a little communication breakdown at the start, that was overcome and everything went fine. I had several rotten wooden fence posts replaced with metal poles set in concrete. Additionally I had new holes drilled in the metal gate track that ran across my driveway the nee concrete screws to attach track to driveway. The has mad a significant difference in the functioning of the gate. Another company said the track would have to be replaced and driveway work and blah blah blah for $$$$$$. Mike didn't even go down that route which I knew I didn't need. I would definitely recommend Mike and Express Fence. read more

We had a great experience with Mike at Express Fence. He personally came out to estimate the job, was ready to do it the following business day, but we weren't. After we finally gave him the go-ahead, he again came out personally to take care of it. We have a wrought iron fence which needed a variety of work. The gate latches didn't engage properly due to shifting. We wanted to remove a section. Etc. Mike knew what needed to be done, explained it, did it himself, and cleaned up after. I wish I had found Mike before I had some other fence work done. I recommend him without reservation. read more

We just replaced our old fence the builder had installed with a pre-stained cedar, board on board, 8ft. Fence by Express Fence and we love it! It has changed the look and feel of our backyard, giving us more privacy from our surrounding neighbors. Our fence was a large pie shape to replace. Based on price, quality and options I would highly recommend using Express Fence for any fence job. read more

Super fast responses and service! I'd recommend them for any fence/gate needs.

Mike is responsive with phone calls, texts, and emails. We got 7 quotes and Express Fence's is very competitive. What separated them from others is the details that Mike put in the quote. Everything was spelled out and no guessing on our end. They came out within a week and got the job done within 3 days. Quick turnaround and they did an excellent job. We are extremely happy with our decision and love our new fence. Our neighbors have already asked us for their contact# - that says a lot about their work! read more

Mike did a great job communicating with us and fixing our fence promptly. Would highly recommend and utilize for future projects.

I contacted Mike about a rather unique situation in my backyard, needing a fence erected ASAP, on my retaining wall. He was not only quick to respond, but was professional, and straight forward. During a time (Covid19) when most people can take advantage of the situation, Mike did not overcharge or resort to price gouging in any way. He was honest, trustworthy, and a true pleasure to work with. I was impressed by his work ethic and positive attitude. He was always respectful of social distancing in our interactions. I would recommend Express Fence to my friends, family, and clients, without any hesitation! Thank you, Mike for being a breath of fresh air amidst the uncertainty and turmoil of the pandemic. read more

Great professional service from Mike and his team. Nice material and great Workmanship. Will definitely use him again.

I cannot speak to the quality of their product/service, but I can share that Mike, the owner, is rude and unprofessional. For almost two weeks, both his work truck and a flat-bed trailer (equipped with a cement mixer) have been left unattended and parked along my property and within my cul de sac. Apparently, they store their equipment here, and the work crew comes and goes. I leave for work at 7:15 A.M. each day and return by 4:00 P.M., and I have never seen the crew. In all fairness, there has been a lot of rain, no doubt delaying the project, but storing all this equipment overnight is inconsiderate. I contacted Mike today to let him know that we have been patient for almost two weeks and have made no complaints, but today the truck drove through and left a rut in my lawn. He was defensive, rude, and would not let me finish a sentence. He said he cannot undo the damage to my lawn, and he was not the one driving the vehicle; I never threatened to call the police, yet he said, "We've had the police called on us several times; there's nothing they can do." When I told him I was calling him as a courtesy rather than posting a negative review, he said, "Go ahead if you want to ruin the livelihood of my family." When I realized I could not have a productive conversation with him, I contacted the non-emergency police number to inquire about the code. The officers who arrived said the truck was not necessarily illegally parked, although rude and inconsiderate, but that the flat-bed trailer full of all their equipment was a violation. If you care about how Mike will care for your property and that of your neighbors', I would carefully consider doing business with him. Too bad my patience, grace, and attempt at decent communication did not work. Very disappointing. read more
