Our fence on the roadside (house at the corner) has been having issues with warped/broken pickets…read morewhich needed fixing every few weeks. We used other fence companies which did quick fixes but the problem started happening again after few weeks. We wanted to solve this issue once and not deal with the fence for few years. Zach looked the fence and he found that the fence has no ground runner and that makes the fence pickets sit on the ground and become warped then pullout and break. Meaning the pickets will continue to brake and continue to need frequent repairs. Zach has given couple of options (first option is to repair the broken pickets, second option is to install new treated runner to keep the pickets off ground, new pickets and paint). We went with the second option. The poles were still in good condition, just needed an extra pole at the corner. From the beginning he has been very prompt in giving quotes, responding to questions, arriving to work on time and the finish the work on time. Prices are also reasonable. He also used pictures to convey problems and suggest solutions (this helped a lot as live out of town). The fence turned out be excellent and I am happy to recommend him to my friends in the area.

Several Nextdoor participants recommended Chris from Patio Escapes. Chris and I spoke over the phone and via text, during which he provided a quote for the work. I explained what I needed, and he assured me he could complete the job for the quoted price. The work was completed, and he also assured me that his work comes with a one-year warranty. Less than two weeks after the work was finished, I noticed some issues. I contacted Chris via text, and he responded, promising to return and make the necessary repairs and adjustments. This was in May 2025. However, as of mid-September, despite multiple calls and texts, I have not received any response from Chris or his company. I am sharing this as a warning to other potential customers. It appears that Patio Escapes is not honoring their warranty, and I am disappointed by the lack of response and support. 1. Gaps in sections of the work 2. The screens are loose 3. Unpainted areas 4. The screen door warped/off balanced. 5. Essentially, an area he fitted looks ill-fitted. 6. He doesn't return calls.
