I wanted to say thank you to the Omega Masonry Crew! From the very first interaction, they were top-notch. All of the communication was expertly handled by Ms. Fonseca, whose professionalism and responsiveness were second to none. She answered all my questions on the phone to my complete satisfaction. Despite getting caught up with a work call and delaying my photos, I received a very reasonable quote within 15 minutes of contacting Omega Masonry via their website. Impressively, they managed to obtain a picture of my mailbox themselves. This all took place on the afternoon of July 1st, and they followed up promptly the next day to schedule the work for July 5th. On the scheduled day, they arrived exactly on time. During the job, they uncovered a severely rusted mailbox interior, which wasn't part of the original quote. They immediately informed me and worked with me on a price adjustment for a new mailbox insert. The technician then proceeded with the masonry work, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I know it may sound overenthusiastic for a mailbox, but this has been a pain point for years. The technician was polite, explained the cause of the leaning mailbox, and even my mailman complimented the new setup! The entire job was completed in just 3 hours. I am extremely pleased and want to help other customers make a decision to use Omega Masonry. I am more than willing to speak with any potential clients for these guys. I actually spoke with Laquisha, she sounded like an answering service, like she was reading from a script. She was very nice, took all the pertinent information. And then nothing. As a professional in the same field I am very disappointed, even if you have more than enough jobs and do not want future business it is still professional to call and let us know. It's like pulling teeth to get anyone from this company to acknowledge you. I'm surprised they have such good reviews. I guess they're so busy giving everyone else excellent service that they can't respond to my inquiries for service (called, emailed, AND texted- our call lead to an email promising they'd call us back w/in 24 hrs which was a Thursday or Friday so we waited all weekend; never happened, so I emailed back TUESDAY asking why we hadn't gotten our promised call; only then did someone call me but requested a pic of my job; did it, and then that was ignored. And here we are. Wednesday night. So Thursday morning a week later I'm having to give up my efforts to do business with these people. I wish I'd known. Ridiculous. Contacted Omega Masonry about retaining walls since we are looking at a home to buy that has a 15 ft high retaining wall. Rex was very informative to me about what to look for, what are the concerns with high retaining walls and their construction. He gave sufficient information for me to be able to construct questions to ask about the property that we are interested. I was referred to Omega Masonry to fix some cracks in our two door entryway steps. They told us they could fix the cracks and make it look like new and we hired them to do the work. They completed the repairs but it did not look like new rather it was clearly a "patch" repair. Further, they did not advise us that the repair may only be temporary. Three months later the cracks re-appeared and the steps looked the same as previous but worse due to the patch work appearance. I contacted Omega to fix the problem and they told me they could not unless they REBUILT the entire steps for both entryways at my expense. They also made it clear to me that they due not warranty their work. I asked them to refund all or a portion of my money given less than three months after the repair it was a complete failure but they refused. Obviously the performance of their repair work was very disappointing but their terrible customer service response was an affront. To make matters worse I found at later that the repair work could be done using a different method that would provide a much better appearance and last considerably longer at a cheaper price. Omega never advised us of the alternative method, but they were happy to take our $2,300 for their poor work and terrible customer service. I would not recommend Omega to anyone looking for masonry work due to my experience. read more

I used Omega to reset my two flagstone pathways in my backyard and they did a wonderful job. Later on I asked them to build me a flagstone mailbox. They complied and in one day I had a very nice mailbox. After about a year I noticed it was leaning towards the street so I gave them a call and spoke with Jose concerning this issue. He had someone there in about a week and it was repaired at no further expense. If I need any other masonry work I would not hesitate to call Omega. read more
