Phillip said after he was done with my neighbor's inspection he would look at mine at no charge. He took about 20 minutes and checked my roof. When he came down from the roof he explained what he saw with photos and laymans terms. He was not pushy and said I did not need a new roof at this time. Fast forward two weeks and another bad storm in Garland. He and one of the owners of the company was back in the neighborhood looking at other roof's. A part of siding had fallen and I asked him how much he would charge to put it back up. He said give him 20 minutes and he will do it. I tried to pay him but he said no charge. They looked at my roof again and everything was okay. The honesty and customer service is off the charts. They did not try to sell me services that I did not need and was honest about my roof. Helping me with the siding issue and not charging was very kind. When I do need a new roof I will call them and if anyone in my circles need a roof I will tell them to go to TC and no one else.

They worked with us to find the right siding and even helped us reuse extra material we had on hand, which reduced our costs. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. I especially want to recognize Tony Moore. He responded promptly to our initial request, provided a thorough estimate, and made sure every detail was completed perfectly. We could not be happier with the results. Tyler and his team were professional and incredibly helpful when I had questions. They installed new Hardie siding and trim, new gutters, and painted. There were issues with the framing and the fact that I had no insulation but they didn't just cover up the issues like the other contractor --they fixed them right and I was so pleased with the outcome that I asked them to paint my garage to match the house. I highly recommend Hawkins for anyone looking for reliable exterior work. The pricing was competitive, the crew was dependable, kept the jobsite impressively clean, and the quality of work is excellent. It's rare to find a contractor in DFW who delivers exactly what they promise on schedule and within budget. If you want quality craftsmanship and a stress-free experience, I highly recommend Hawkins!

Imagine hiring a contractor to improve your home, then discovering after the crew leaves that newly installed exterior doors cannot reliably lock, storm doors lack functioning handles or locks, and some entrances cannot be used normally. Now imagine realizing this while your child sleeps inside. Our project involved five exterior doors, four storm doors, James Hardie siding, and closing an exterior window. At one stage, three of four storm doors lacked essential operating hardware. We had to ask: Can we secure our home tonight? Could we use these doors during an emergency? Is our child safe? We could not postpone urgent corrections indefinitely while the owner blocked us, so on our own, we hired consultants to investigate the concerns and offer recommendations. The project was expected to be completed March 16-20, 2026, but remained unresolved months later. Hawkins continued demanding $9,577.20, which we disputed based on incomplete work, corrective costs, credits, reduced scope, and the undelivered door. Because of Hawkins lack of quality control in all aspects of its business, poor documentation and communication, and the countless risks associated with their unacceptable quality of workmanship, we hired consultants and other contractors, involved attorneys, disputed the balance, and completely lost trust & confidence. Don't make the same mistake no matter how "nice" the sales guy seems.

I had been looking for a siding company for a while and was relieved to find a company that came highly recommended from a friend. I could tell from the first meeting I had with them that they were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and their quote was thousands of dollars less than the other company I had talked to! We live hours away from their headquarters, but they had no problem traveling to us. If I had not known someone who had already used them, I might have been worried that it was too good to be true, but they delivered in every aspect. They were meticulous in their work, and their attention to detail was exceptional. We were so impressed with the siding, soffits, and fascia, that we decided to have them give us a quote for gutters as well, and we added that to the project. I have since found out that in addition to windows and siding, they have crews who can do any kind of construction work, and we plan to have them back to help us with the other projects on our house, including new windows, in the future. I would trust them with any job at this point, and I don't think anyone else can beat their prices. I recommend them to anyone looking at any construction job. They are fair, honest, skilled, and pay great attention to detail.
