Tarrant fixed my folks' roof after a storm earlier this year and did a fantastic and quick job. Over the Thanksgiving holidays we noticed a small leak in one of the bedrooms, so Dad called Andrew. Andrew came out within 3 hours, identified the problem and sent someone out to fix it before the expected rains this weekend. Andrew also just called to set up a time to send someone out to touch up the paint in the bedroom. I am so impressed with the integrity and quick, courteous service of Andrew and Tarrant! As a daughter of older parents, I especially appreciate people who take care of my folks with the same care as I would if I were local. Andrew and Tarrant have proven that they are those types of people.

Tarrant Roofing replaced the ceiling panels for our sunroom, metal carport roof and singles on my…read morehouse thru an insurance claim in 2020. Leaking developed on both the sunroom and carport. We have contacted Tarrant roofing warranty team multiple time to repair these issues and each time they have come out and did spot repairs with sealant. We still have leaking in the sunroom. Videos and pictures of the leaks have been submitted to them via email and text and the response has been slow. I have asked for a more permeant repair the last three times, only to have Tarrant advise they will get with their supervisor and fabrication team for better repair. Then we never hear back from them unit it rains again and enviably leaks. Look elsewhere when needing a roof replacement.

Unfortunately, this function was accidentally triggered during a bad thunderstorm and the whole car interior was soaked. Worried about water damage and the potential for mold growth, I started looking for companies that could fix the issue. 911 Restoration responded promptly and I immediately had them go to work for us. And man were these guys awesome. Everyone I interacted with was super kind and professional. From the phone call with the manager to the operators who came to deal with my vehicle, I felt cared for and that everything was going to be taken care of. With these guys, I didn't have to bring my vehicle in. They came to where I was and set up their equipment. My vehicle was soaked so it took about 2 days to completely dry it out. Shout to the operators -- Isaiah, James, and Willard. They were super friendly, had excellent communication, and came by every day of the service see how the drying process was going. You guys were awesome! My car was completely restored! Not one chance that there could've been any moisture left in my vehicle once they were done. I wish I had the positive experience others seem to have had. I only scheduled a quote with them,…read morebut I'm not going to use them based on my experience. I was trying to get a quote on removing mold from my vents and possibly fixing ceiling damage. I guess they don't go to condo units all that often because despite telling the scheduler over the phone and in email what my unit number was, it was never included in my address. In my experience, most services will give you a notification that the technician is on their way. I got notified when the guy called me because he went to the HOA office, since he didn't have my unit number. The HOA wouldn't have known anything even if someone was there since I own my condo and am responsible for the inside. The guy arrived, walked around inside with his dirty boots, and only peaked into my vents which were my main concern. He did test the stains in my ceiling with what I assume was a device that measures moisture. Then he said "I have everything" and left. No "goodbye" or letting me know what he saw or what next steps could be taken.

These people came in during our emergency pipe burst situation and took advantage of us. They are part of Your Home Expert, a contractor business. YHE told us they would "fight for more payout" because the mitigation company chipped a tiny bit of tile in the hallway while they were tearing out the carpet. Red flag! They are the mitigation company! They know how to game the system so insurance pays out more, and who suffers? You, the policyholder, and your neighbors, whose premiums are just going to go up as a result of higher insurance payout. They claimed they found a mouse in the wall when drilling the holes to dry out the walls. I find this unlikely, because the holes are so small and spaced apart. The odds of drilling directly into a mouse? Small. This was confirmed when I spoke with an actual reputable company, who said that the likelihood is incredibly low. And, even if they did find a half-skeletal mouse, that is not grounds to elevate to Category 3--if anything, they would just cut out that area and clean that area. Speaking with a reputable company made it very clear the difference between a legit, respectable company and this Restoration "Experts" company. Bigger companies try to do as little as possible and be as minimally disruptive as possible. Restoration "Experts" tries to extract as much payout as possible from your stressful emergency situation. They manipulate you into thinking it's "YHE + you VS. Insurance Co" but it's not. If you just ask your insurance company for help, they will help you. ALSO, PSA, if you own your home (no mortgage), YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THE INSURANCE MONEY (policy depending). Don't let these people lie to you and tell you that you have to use X money for X, because it is NOT true (policy depending). That is straight from the insurance company itself. Double check your policy to confirm but that was the case for me with my insurance company. YHE will probably try to threaten you and say they'll report you to your insurance company and TDI, but news flash! They have no basis to do so and are just trying to scare you. Don't trust these people. Go with a more reputable company. Please.

I got an estimate from another company. They were going to charge me ALOT to clean it; claiming there was mold growth that I caught "just in time." My husband wisely chose to get a second opinion. We chose these guys because they had treated a friend's house. The man who I had talked to over the phone and the two that came to clean were professional, yet patient with my questions. Lo and behold there was only dust build up! They even charged half the price that they had originally quoted (which was already a lot less than the first company.) We are so glad we went with them instead!

He came out a few days later and did a very thorough inspection and explained the situation and all our options. There was absolutly no pressure and he knew we already had another bid. I am impressed by how this company began and who they are. They are firemen, first responders, and military men who provide a needed service for others with pride in their work. All communication was excellent. They completed our whole roof tear off and added a excellent new roof that actually has lowered our home insurance alot in less than a day! Clean up was excellent. Fantastic experience! First, I wanna give a shout out to…read moreKelton. He was assigned to our initial consultation at our house due to a roof leak. He was knowledgeable and honest enough to let us know that the shingles that we have, & the ice and water issues we were experiencing, are actually due to a ongoing lawsuit with the manufacturer. He could've easily not told us that and charged us to do a whole new roof. He continuously worked with us for the following 6 months helping provide any information pictures, etc. so we can make a claim to get our roof covered. I submitted them as my preferred roofer of choice to fix the issue. Once everything was settled with the manufacturer, we were able to move forward with a new roof with Firefighter. They were professional, on time, skilled laborers, and did a beautiful job redoing everything. We had a couple of hiccups, they remedied everything quickly without hesitation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience! Kelton is the man!! We will be using them going forward & recommending them to friends and family. Thank you!
