They did a good job, for a very fair price, helping me set trusses and install the roof on my garage project. There were a couple of minor issues we found later, and in both cases they were right back out there, taking care of them, in one case as quickly as the next day. I definitely recommend these guys, they did a great job on delivery and took care of my concerns very quickly. There should be a way to give 4.5 stars, because there were SOME issues, or I would have given them a 5, but those issues did really underline how customer focused they are. One of the issues I had reported on a text message I think Saturday night or Sunday morning, and they were back out Monday to fix it, had it done before noon. I've called them back for two more jobs since. I don't expect everyone to be perfect all the time, just be willing to make it right, and when it comes to that, these guys hit it out of the park. read more

I'd select no stars if that was an option. SUPER bad experience with Renown. Really check these guys out before hiring them. It's your home and hard earned money. read more

I personally recommend Renown Construction for any roofing project...residential or commercial... you may have. Adam and his team are dedicated to ensuring each project is done correctly (the first time), to code, and with the highest ethical standards of service. If your not an expert in the roofing field, Renown is there to help you and walk you through the process. read more

I came across Renown construction after a wind storm hit our neighborhood leaving a HUGE tree in my roof. My insurance company was very reluctant to repair the roof and with the help of Renown we were able to get a NEW roof with a 30 year warranty. Job was completed in a timely matter and Matt was always available to answer any questions we had along the way. They even went above and beyond and fixed extra nail pops in the interior of the house. I would recommend Renown to my friends and family. Sincerely, The Litts read more

Top-notch, professional company with high-touch, customer-service oriented approach to construction. We interviewed several companies; Renown was the most consistent communicator and answered every question. And that was BEFORE we chose them. I wrote one check and EVERYTHING was taken care of. If you're lucky, Rodney will be your project manager, too. He always has a great attitude, always has time to answer questions, and always advocates for you. He provides regular updates, visits the site frequently, is always upfront with changes or discoveries and listens to concerns. He rescheduled insurance inspections to ensure ALL damage was noted (even things they missed) because he wasn't satisfied. Our damage was extensive and required several days of teardown, rebuilding and replacing. Rodney was onsite every day to start the crew and kept us informed on progress and "surprises" along the way. He returned every call and fulfilled every request. We found one minor problem and the work crew was dispatched the following morning to resolve it... no delay, no questions. Stellar, stellar customer service. Replacing a roof or repairing storm damage is a complex project. I cannot recommend Renown highly enough; they are a model organization with professional and customer-oriented employees in every role. read more

Jeff Blem, with Renown Roofing and Construction, came highly recommended to me. I was not disappointed. He represents this company well. Thanks Jeff for making this experience one of the best I have ever had with a Roofing Company, from start to finish. You're the Best. I am learning the value of "Reviews" and "word of mouth" referrals and that is why I am happy to post this review. When I first met with Jeff, I was impressed with his friendliness, knowledge, professionalism and genuine desire to provide the highest level of customer service. He took care of our roofing needs from start to finish. This customer is very satisfied with the quality of work and the high level of customer service that we received from the initial meeting to working with Lindsay in the office and Sean who came out to do the needed repairs. Each level of service was second to none. Jeff, Lindsay and Sean....thank you for providing us with friendly, courteous and professional service; paired with awesome workmanship. I highly recommend Renown Roofing to friends and family; as well as those who rely on honest Reviews. Customer service has become a lost art in many businesses Today. I can confidently say it is still held in the highest regard to this company. Their customer service and desire for customer satisfaction sets them apart. We will gladly be using them again in the very near future. Renown Roofing IS our roofing company! Thanks to ALL of you ~ you delivered FIVE STAR service and I greatly appreciate your time and effort on our behalf. read more

Coy Greathouse has been the best claims estimator that we have had come look at our roof since we've been shopping companies. He spent much more time on our roof than any other guy who has inspected the damage. He did a very thorough job noting and explaining all the problems as well as how the roof repair and insurance process works. He found a leak that all the other guys have missed. He was super patient with all of my questions making sure to explain everything thoroughly. He was also very patient with all the interruptions from my kids. On top of all that he even removed a dead snake from our garage! This is the best customer service I've had from anywhere in a long time...not just roofing! read more

This was by far our best contractor experience. The quote, and crew came quickly and were polite, friendly and professional. They were also very communicative about their progress and work schedule. The new siding and painting show pride of workmanship that is hard to find these days. We will be calling them back for our next construction job! read more

I have known Adam and the team at Renown Roofing and Construction for quite a while. I'm an insurance broker here in Dallas, so you can imagine that I work with a LOT of roofing contractors. Adam is one of my very favorites, and Renown is one of only three roofers in all of DFW that I refer my clients to with absolute confidence that they will have an excellent experience. On the rare occasion that something goes wrong, Adam and his team have been very prompt to fix the problem and make sure that my clients are 100% satisfied. Highly recommended if you're looking for a roofer! read more

Were originally told we wouldn't have any out of pocket after insurance. Now being told we have to pay 11k on top of the 5k the insurance paid. Scam! read more

Totally agree with the review from Sid on 5/8/2016. It has almost been a month and a half since I first spoke to a representative from Renown Roofing and Construction who assured they would take good care of my property severely damaged from a recent hail storm . Last time I called him was over 3 weeks ago. At that time he said they would send out their guys to assess some additional damages the insurance might have missed and would get back to me within a week. No follow up or anything either from him or his company. Not even a single call. They did not even cover the skylights as a precaution since one is severely damaged and water could've leaked inside the property and done some internal damage. I'm very disappointed by their horrible customer service. I've no idea what's going on. It seem they only wanted to grab as much business as possible and had no intention of finishing up the job in a timely manner. I've fired them and have no intention of giving them my business anymore. read more

Renown took out the guess work and walked us through every step. They were generous with information and answered all of our questions. Renown personnel were thorough in managing our expectations, and their performance was above-board. Early on, I had a choice and was pleased that I went with renown. While the crew was working o my home, I was able to observe the company I almost hired work on a neighbor's home across the street. The other company's contractors were loud, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was very grateful it was the renown crew I had allowed into my home. In the end Renown kept their word and cost was exactly what they promised... well... actually it was $50 less they they had estimated. Not only would I re-hire renown, I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who is in need for any roofing, repair or renovation project. read more

A friend of mine referred me to Matt from Renown Roofing and Construction and I must say that I wasn't impressed at all due to the following reasons: 1. I scheduled Matt to come talk to the insurance adjuster when he came to inspect my property which was damaged due the hail in my area. I was extremely disappointed to see that Matt did not made any effort in pointing out the damage let alone made any effort in talking to him in greater detail about the damages. My expectation was that Matt would have at least communicated with the adjuster about the damages on my property and could have been more convincing. However, he totally did the opposite showing his lack of experience and expertise. Therefore, I had to JUMP IN to point out the damages in my home, making Matt's presence almost useless. 2. I was also disappointed to see that he was supposed to come inside my house and discuss about how the inspection went as per our conversation before the adjuster had showed up and I found him trying to get more business in my neighborhood. After waiting for sometime when he did not showed up, I went outside to look for him and found him on my neighbors roof. His explanation was that my neighbor had asked him look at her roof. However, when I asked my neighbor if she had called him while he wasn't finished dealing with me, she had told me that she did not asked Matt do get on her roof. I was getting ready to go out with my family on a Friday evening and wanted to have a conversation with Matt before I leave but I was totally disappointed with his professionalism an ethics. To me, this is considered to be a bad customer service. 3. It has been now almost a month and I haven't received a SINGLE follow up call from Matt or his company to discuss the next steps and it clearly shows that they have signed up more customers than they can handle. Therefore, I feel that they have wasted my time and I am not a happy customer at all based on the customer service that I have received. I will not recommend this company to any one read more

The entire team of Renown Construction did an outstanding job on my roof project. Kevin Bryant is very exceptional. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He helped me a great deal in understanding and maximizing my insurance coverage, as well as following the claim throughout the process. He dealt with issues promptly, kept me informed through the project, and just overall making sure that I was completely satisfied. The workmanship was top notch. I have recommended Renown Construction to my friend and they were completely satisfied too. I can't stress how easy to work with him and his entire team. They are all very friendly and courteous. I will definitely use them in the future. read more

give me a break, all these contractors tell you that you HAVE to pay the deductible, what a joke, patio awning needs replaced, total of $300 materials, insurance paid $1400 where is all that money going for 8 hours of labor? would really love to make $175 an hour, thats lawyers pay, this is just ONE example of contractors keeping the 99%ers in poverty, what a joke.................and I can go on with the other examples of my $14,000 claim. As a recent first-time homebuyer, there is still quite a bit I have to learn about maintaining a home. Getting hit with two record-setting hailstorms in 2016 (Wylie, TX) meant I was getting inundated with contacts from different roofing companies seemingly everyday. I wasn't sure of what to do and was praying to find a company that was trustworthy, reliable and honest. Thankfully, I was referred by very good friends to Adam B. and his company, Renown Roofing and Construction. My friends had worked with Adam in the past for their roofing needs and reassured me that he would take good care of me and my home. I called Adam and he came out to my home the very next day to climb up on my roof and perform a full evaluation. He explained the extent of the damage, was super patient in answering my questions, said what repairs needed to be done quickly and what could wait if I needed to. Also, he was great about coming out again to meet with insurance adjuster and fought on my behalf. When it came time to repair my roof, Philip (my roof project manager), was great about communicating the timing of what they would do - they started one afternoon and finished the next afternoon. They were great about cleaning up afterwards and best of all, they did a superb job in repairing my roof. You will find no better company than Renown Roofing and Construction - I can't recommend them highly enough!! read more
