During the past few days of this Texas arctic blast, we had a frozen drain pipe that began shooting water out of our washer, spilling onto the porcelain tile floor and around the corner into the living room - causing minor damage to the engineered wood floors. We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well. read more

Bad service, they couldn't resolve the problem then still charged a bunch of money. They are not trustworthy.

The work was pretty good and the workers were very nice -- that part of it was OK, would get a 4 or 5. Dealing with Colton Hayge was awful. As another reviewer said, he's "a liar and a con man". He decided how he wanted to do the repairs WITHOUT MENTIONING IT TO ME, then refused to reconsider when I didn't like his idea. There's more to the story, but I'm sick of thinking about these people. My advice is if they try to hustle you into doing business with them, run away, fast. Especially if you get assigned Colton as your project "manager". He's the one that earns the 1. read more

CWF restoration was a nightmare. There were different crews in every room and different crews every day. They didn't talk to each other, thus the work was inconsistent The project manager Colton Hayge was a liar and a con man. The work was shoddy and undone. Colton refused to finish the work and then threatened to place a lien on my house if I didn't pay in full. I had to hire a different contractor to complete the job. Our plumber recommended CWF to us and we are very glad he did. Kade and Joshua came out and inspected the damage. They explained what work needed to be done when it would be done and answered all of our questions. They were very helpful and professional. The very same afternoon Kris and John came to do the demolition. They started to work right away and tore out all of the wet flooring and walls. They set up fans and dehumidifiers and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. We are very pleased with the quality of work and level of service at CWF provided. They installed Dehumidifiers, fans, and heaters to dry out the flooring, it took a week to dry the floors in a 1100 Sq foot house. CWF Restoration provided excellent service with the absolute nicest and helpful technicians. Frankie, Julian,John and Kris were all involved in what was a bad leak with multiple areas of damage.They had to come out on a Sunday afternoon to get started but came with a great attitude set everything up quickly. I was shown pictures of all the affected areas and explanations of what needed to be done and the time frame were given. They worked quickly and cleaned up all the mess too! My plumber recommended CWF after fixing a broken condensation pipe in my attic on Saturday night. The CWF sent Jacob out early the following morning to assess the damage. John and Jordan set up the necessary equipment on Monday morning (although they offered to come out Sunday afternoon if I preferred). We were referred to CWF from our Plumber Dinomite Plumbing Services. They replaced our Sump pump that failed and caused our basement to flood. Best choice we could have made. I had an AC unit leak water into a closet and soaked everything in it. It was moldy smelling and horrible, and I discovered it the night before I was supposed to leave town the next day. I was referred to CWF the next morning and they were awesome. Dean showed up literally an hour after I called and went right to work with some cool equipment to show me where the water was behind the walls and had John and Kris show up an hour later to remove all the wet drywall and insulation. It was a mess. They left some equipment to dry everything out and came back 2 days later to make sure all the moisture was dry. Although the closet was stripped down to the studs and subfloor, they left the closet clean, dry and ready to be rebuilt. They will give me an estimate to do that work too, so I may have another 5 star review to write. Highly recommend this company. Prompt, professional, and thorough.
