We had issues with Dry force right from the beginning. From people not showing up at their schedule times to failing to submit claims for pack out today's in submitting revised claims - delaying our work for weeks leaving my kitchen floor a hazard to walk on. My elderly dad ended up falling twice . The packout team started treating to with hold our furniture until they got paid . It was a complete nightmare. Worse part was causing delays in getting Dry Force paid by my insurance (again their fault they never submitted packout claim which I was never aware of and paid them from what my insurance had already given me. Then they come after me with a lien on my property! I highly recommend looking them up on BBB- it's a common theme. read more

They need to rename this company "SCAM FORCE". Here is my story. We live in the Richardson area, and shortly after Thanksgiving of 2025 we identified a leak from an upstairs bathroom that resulted in an area of our garage ceiling that was showing signs of water damage. My wife called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (also a suspect company) about the leak. They came out but really did not thoroughly evaluate the situation, & instead immediately directed her to call Dry Force because of potential water damage. Following these recommendations, we got Dry Force out immediately. I was working, so my wife took care of this during the day. A technician from Dry Force responded immediately, and evaluated the problem. They fed into my wife's fear of mold growth, etc. This technician assured my wife that they could easily remedy the problem, because it did not seem too extensive. They put paperwork in front of her to sign, and told her we needed to pay the estimate upfront before any work would start. We paid them $2700 that day, because of the anxiety they created for my wife. They cut out a 2-3 ft section of the garage ceiling dry wall, and set up fans with makeshift plastic ducts to blow warm air through the ceiling to dry out any water contamination. The weather was fairly cold during this time, and on multiple occasions during the 7-9 days that these blowers were working, I noticed that the air created by the blowers was cold & not warm as they said. We reached out to Scam Force to come and fix the blowers (at least 3 times during that week). They would eventually come out, but frequently not the same day, and it would always be a different technician. They always had an excuse for their delays, but they would fix the heating unit, and at least one of these technicians tried to throw his coworkers under the bus for initially setting up the system incorrectly. After about a week or so, another technician came out to perform an assessment of how well things were drying out. This technician stated there was still moisture, and now they recommended replacement of the damage. They did not offer any further options, and claimed that there were no further remedies for the wetness before leaving. We have tried to call Scam Force on multiple occasions since, to request for them to come back out & fix the issue they said they could fix from the beginning. We started to escalate our request, and a shift manager Frank Savatino spoke with me by phone. He explained that his technicians had told him they tried everything without success. He also informed me that my wife signed the disclosure/liability statement (which was in the initial paperwork), which basically releases them from any liability if they cannot cure the issue, and he also recommended replacement of the damage. I quickly got the feeling that they were wiping their hands from the job, and I barely got an apology. I requested at least some amount of partial refund if they felt they had reached the end of what they could do, but Savatino could not or would not authorize this, and told me he would have the head manager call us back. "Sorry sir, but your wife signed the paperwork." That is what he said. Frank still assured me he would have the manager call us back. I never received a call, and there is still a hole in my garage ceiling today. The leak has since been repaired by a fair & reliable plumber. The damage was minimal, & dried without issue or replacement. There are many restoration companies around so at least y'all don't have to choose "Scam Force". We recommend staying far away & clear of this company, because I would bet this is not their first charade rodeo! Maybe they need to advertise as an improvisation company. 1. They had reassured my mom that they would check with the insurance and make sure that everything is covered. They did not . In fact they began their work and decided to check what the insurance afterwards only to find out it wasn't covered. 2. They had reassured my mom even if it wasn't covered that she had nothing to worry about that because she was older they were provider with a decent discount they did not. 3. There was water in the garage a huge puddle they did not clear all this water in fact they still left the puddle for my mom to have to sweep out of the garage and they did not move all the items over where the water was to prevent them from getting damaged. 4. They missed the closet that was carpeted and ended up gaining mold and we have a centerpiece of a table that was in there that ended up getting mold and gross and we had to throw it away along with other shoes and clothes that my mom had in there . Later we had a fire in September . I had left to Google review they pretended to care and act as if we were a priority they sent someone over to check on the job . And then try to blame the fire for them missing the closet and them not actually doing a good job . This fire was after the pipe burst under the house and the stairs are not directly underneath does the rooms that caught fire . This is their way of trying to get out of the fact that they didn't do a thorough job. 5. In the kitchen where there was a little bit of water they drilled holes in her very expensive $20,000 cabinets and since they expected the insurance to take care of everything I don't recall them asking for permission to do so nor attempting to look for a better way to drive the water that was possibly under there even though the water was more on the other side. 6. They would call her and she would answer and then they'd hang up and send her a text about the bill . And when she did call she spoke to an agent who had an attitude about wanting to work on this discount that she was reassured that she had nothing to worry about from this company who shouldn't have started their work until after knowing that the insurance would cover it they wanted to make it seem more pressing that it was so that they can move in all their machines and then slap her within over $7,000 bill . 7. After replying to my Google review somebody called my mom scheduled an appointment with her to meet on Monday at noon I was going to be there I was there they weren't , instead whoever was supposed to show up called in sick didn't tell anybody at the office and left us there hanging . And in order to find that out I had to call and speak to several different people until they can finally figure this out. 8. The following day they schedule an appointment for 3:00 on Tuesday once again they did not show up I had a call again only for them to have Ryan the one who came to review the house and appear to be friendly I'm not sure if he suggested with them that the closet they missed was because of the fire which it couldn't have been since the warer happened months before. 9. So I called back today only to speak to the manager Donna who is threatening my mom by putting a lien on her house the house it is currently unlivable because of the fire that happened in September only for her to tell me that I'm not her customer and she doesn't have to deal with me because she didn't appreciate the fact that I knew what I was talking about and how it couldn't have been the fire because the closet was initially missed. 10. I 100% do not recommend this company you cannot trust them nor believe them when they act as if they might be concerned and want to resolve your issue and tell you you're a priority when you're clearly not because they don't even communicate amongst themselves enough to keep a simple appointment and will instead threaten you and try to find ways to make you pay a large bill that they had previously reassured you you wouldn't have to worry about instead of attempting to be more reasonable with the bill they threatened my mom they try to get out of doing a good job by blaming another disaster and are completely inconsiderate when you do try to talk to them . Oh and yes I do remember that they would call not answer when my mom said hello and then text her the bill. 11. Regarding DryForce Dallas: They do not care about you. DryForce restoration tells a great story UNTIL you sign the contract. Now we can get no information from them. It's a continuous circle of excuses: ... "We are waiting on insurance to approve.". Not true, approval was days ago. ... "Oh, I am only with the drying part, you'll have to talk to the restoration guys. I'll have them call you.". No calls. ... "Someone will be out tomorrow to answer your questions." No show. I was out of town when our garage ceiling collapsed due to a pipe leak (luckily my cleaning ladies were there to find it), and dry force was able to respond quickly on the same day. I had one of my friends head over to show them the damage and they were able to start the water removal process. Summary: We switched contractors after all the issues we had with DryForce, and we are now owed over $3k that they are refusing to pay. Long story: We had a leak in our bedroom wall and used DryForce for remediation and attempted to use them for reconstruction of our walls and floors. The water remediation went fine, but we have had the worst experience we have ever had with a business while working with their construction department and accounting. They suggested that work could be completed on our house while we were out of town so we had them put a temporary lock box on our door. When we returned to our home, both the front and back door were UNLOCKED, everything was a mess, and a room was painted the wrong color. And this is in addition to them being unresponsive and planning to install our wood floors as floating which every flooring expert we talked to after said would bubble up and not last. We decided to work with another contractor before the floor work on the project got started, so DryForce owed us over $3k. They issued the check on 6/20, we have USPS informed delivery so we saw on 6/27 we were supposed to receive the check but it was missing from our mailbox. We requested the check be cancelled on 7/1, then on 7/12 DryForce was called and confirmed the check as it was fraudulently cashed at a payday loan location. DryForce says it is not their problem and has refused to issue another check, and they are ignoring our demand so this will likely end up in court unfortunately. Find a more honest and fair contractor for your home. If your home and hard earned money are important to you, don't give crooks access to them. Edit: The owner replied to my review on Google, and as of 7/25 I have not been contacted by anyone at DryForce and my last emails had multiple people at the company CC'd including the President Matt Sands. When you have water leak from outside/inside call Dry Force to get the water out and repair the damage. We had a leak at bathroom sink which wasn't discovered soon enough. Our go-to plumber (Legacy Plumbing) got us fixed up with Dry Force who came the next day to start the water extraction process. I took photos of what they installed in bathroom. Made it a bit awkward getting into closet etc but we managed. The heat injection machine (yellow with black hoses) is very very loud. Add the large blue fan and the noise is something else. But getting the water out is what's most important. Started on Thu, came back on Sat to check drop in humidity and removed equipment on Tue. Called Dry Force to setup restoration work and he arrived as scheduled. It only took about 45 minutes to put the door back on and a new toe kick plate to cover where the hoses went under cabinet. Dry Force is a pitiful example of a company that promises to help you during often times - traumatic experiences. On 7/27/2022, we had incredible water damage to an upstairs bathroom, attached hallway and the room below. I called Dry Force and they brought over fans and dehumidifiers. Andrew was very rushed and stated at the time that he and the other crews were over worked and exhausted. He stated the company makes them work 15 hours days - often times 7 days a week. After setting up and leaving, I had to call and have Andrew return multiple times because the fans keep powering off. After days of having the equipment in my home, Andrew came back and took reading and stated that it was dry. He removed the equipment. Their repairs/construction crews were too busy so we called in Jenkins. When Jenkins arrived, they found that I still had high levels of moisture in the walls, ceilings and floors. Jenkins then removed flooring, walls, built-in shelving and tile - stating that Dry Force should have done this on the beginning to dry the water and help prevent mold. They also set up fans and dehumidifiers for several days to complete the work that Dry Force did not complete. Dry Force then sent me a fraudulent bill stating they had done demo work, moved the items in my home, dump fees among other items. They did not do most of what they claimed on their bill. It has been brought to their attention multiple times. They offered to give me $577.81 credit but refuse to give me a new detailed bill even though both myself and my insurance have requested it multiple times. They are also now threatening to put a lien against me for the $2,399.60 they are fraudulently charging me. They are unprofessional, rude and scammers! Avoid them at all costs! My lawyer will handling them from here on out if they don't stop harassing me with a threat if a lien and grossly adjust their bill. They did not do any remediation services successfully. I would give them zero stars. My experience has been awful. After the first technician set up fans and asked permission to remove ONE baseboard, I received only text messages claiming that things were going well. I asked repeatedly for photos and documentation on the work they were doing. NOTHING! When I finally did receive photos after the work was completed I was told they had the wrong email - for the record, the contract came to the right email before the work commenced. A second technician went into the house, removed more baseboards and cut holes into the drywall without letting me know. He then threw out the baseboards that our carpenter was expecting to reuse. I asked for an explanation on the photos as I couldn't understand the marking on them (they were marked with blue and green arrows) and received none. We came home to a hot water leak in our condo. We called Dry Force because of the reviews. However the service we received was NOT what others claimed to have received. Michael got to our house at 2:30 am, Monday, after calling Dry Force around 10pm on Sunday. He proceeded to tell us how he was the best in the state of Texas for an hour and half and said he would be back with a crew that day. At 6pm a crew showed up at our house. We had been asked to remove anything of value but also to have the furniture in the middle of the room so they were able to put dryers out. When we went to our home the next day to pick up some items our front and back doors were left unlocked (we had a key in lockbox for them). No comment was made after we contacted them about that. And it happened again 2 days later. The insurance adjuster asked for us to be provided readings of the moisture level and we were not given those upon request. On Thursday evening they called with levels and said it was almost dry, but then on Friday we were given different info and said the walls were still very wet. The adjuster advised that we have them leave since minimal progress had been made. We received an invoice for over $8000 that was submitted to our insurance. The insurance only validated approximately $4700 of work. When we reviewed the claim, Dry Force charged for electric consumption (they used our electric), removal of debris (they cut 2 6x6 inch of sheetrock) and furniture moving (we were asked to move our own). We paid the insurance approved amount minus those charges. After which we received countless text messages, calls and a threat to place a lien on our property. They took advantage acting like they will take care of everything made all the calls and that's where it began. My story is very similar to the other complaints. Worst company ever. They started the job and never finished. They never returned my calls or the claim adjuster's calls or emails. A month later they called threatening a lien on my house for not paying the amount insurance did not (charged $5000 to dry a bathroom, into a small bedroom and a hallway). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had them come out and do some work on my home due to water leakage in the Livingroom and Bedroom. It was explained to me that the pad beneath the carpet was wet but that it will be dried out and be reused. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! The carpet padding was removed without my knowledge and the carpet laid back onto the floor. I was supposed to sell the townhome today but the buyers backed out because of this issue. My real estate agent called Dry Force twice and never heard back from them. I personally called and left 3 messages and finally heard back at 6:30 from an Operations Supervisor and all he said was that he will have the salesman call me back on Monday. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Their customer service is very unsatisfactory. They will not take responsibility for mistakes or "confusions". We had a leak that caused water damage in my daughter's closet. DryForce required a 50% deposit on a made up quote to get the process of building out the actual quote started. They left one fan. When I tried to contact them the next day I was met with hold loops, voicemail boxes that were full. On the fifth attempt on the 3rd number I was finally able to contact someone by claiming I was calling for a new issue. I received an even larger quote that didn't include rebuilding the area with the damage. I promptly got a second opinion and got a quote that included rebuild of the damage for a third of the DryForce quote. I cancelled DryForce's attempt at services within 24 hours. Now it has been 5 days, no refund. And they have called each day to say they are going to pick up their equipment, and each day passes with a no-show. Repeated emails with very little response other than to send me a quote. Multiple missed appointments, slow response if at all to any communication, and ignored requests to speak to someone about resolution all seem be part of their core organizational values. Do your homework, get a second opinion, and don't let anyone from this sketchy organization into your home. I'm glad I figured them out quickly before they ever got started. I'm still out over 3K and exploring next steps. Oh and the 2nd opinion company, will be finishing up painting today, before DryForce has even shown up to pick up their fan. read more

Dry Force is so lazy; it has been determined that our kitchen is "dry." Their noisy machines can be turned off @ our house. Well, I haven't heard hide nor hare from them. (Regarding coming over here & turning off these noisy machines.). They might say, "We don't work on weekends." Well, due to THEIR selfishness about not being concerned about their customer's well-being, we have had to listen to these loud machines ALL weekend. The tech even said to me "we didn't have you sign a waiver" when I said no he said "well we probably should have". The equipment was left in my house during an ice storm and I was charged the additional time although roads being closed was not my fault. When I tried to negotiate the invoice the accounts receivable woman was very rude and unaccommodating. I work in service and adjust invoices daily for customers and I would never treat someone that way. They were recommended by Berkeys Plumbing and that reflects poorly on them too. read more

I had a small leak from my tankless water heater that was fixed by a plumber. I called Dry Force Corp to come out and access the damage. They were initially very responsive but unfortunately while removing the drywall to check for moisture (not accusing anyone) somehow some damaged occurred to a water line. I understand things happen. What I do not understand is how it took almost two days and 5 phone calls and 1 email (that I initiated) into the company to finally speak to someone about what had happened. Then it took another day of calling in (again that I initiated, no follow up from the company) to finally speak with someone with the authority that could tell me how and if it would get fixed. I would recommend to be a little more attentive to your customers and call back to investigate issues. I never received any apology or acknowledgment of the event that caused me to miss a day of work, constantly have to monitor and clean up the water, since it was after hours couldn't call into the city to turn of my water, and had to wait till the next day (do not have a house main cut-off), had to cut my carpet because it was soaked and I wasn't sure what was in the water leak, move all the furniture out of the room. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN WATER MITIGATION!!!! I have never experienced worse customer service with a contractor in my life. From start to finish, this project was a nightmare. We had a pipe burst and the field manager came out stating, "this was a 2 week job". Our bathroom was left in shambles (see photos below) and the project took nearly 4 months to complete. The workers are highly unskilled and unprofessional, they would give us a time and no show. I would constantly have to text them to find out when they were coming. At one point when I stated my intent to take care of my home, I was told, "Look lady, I have 40 of you texting me per day". That is a very strange way to treat customers. When I showed the photos of the before/after to staff at Dry Force, they seemed to understand and said, "I would be upset too if this were my home". Yet, no one seemed to take over and complete the job. When I called the billing department to understand what portion I owed, the woman went straight to using threats stating, "We can put a lien on your house, you owe us this amount no matter what the insurance pays out". She checked with a manager, then stated, "Never mind, that doesn't apply to you". She never apologized for speaking to me in this manner, but it is shocking to hear threats when you are just trying to make sense of the bill. For the company, my advice is take on less jobs and do them with pride and efficiency instead of gobbling up more contracts than you can obviously handle and leaving most customers dissatisfied. If you have been seduced by the idea of a company that can handle both your water mitigation and reconstruction in one seamless process, I am here to inform you that Dry Force is not the company you are looking for. First, let me say, I dealt with multiple folks on the water mitigation company--all kind, compassionate, and professional. This review is about my experience with the RECONSTRUCTION side, who I was told would assign a PM to handle everything moving forward. This Project Manager, Chris, was assigned to our case on a Thursday. He came out to do an evaluation and then called me with some vague details on the rebuild. The phone call was not confidence inspiring. I was told we would wait for the Water Mitigation to pick up equipment before Chris finalized his recommendations. Water Mitigation picked up Saturday night. I was told I would receive a phone call from Reconstruction first thing Monday morning so we could all get on the same page. I did not. Tuesday morning, I was told the Manager of the Reconstruction Department was in a meeting, and that he would call me in a couple of hours. He did not. Tuesday evening, I called again, but the office was closed. I left a message. Wednesday at noon, I still had not heard anything. I called again and asked to speak with the Manager. I explained my frustration that Water Mitigation had picked up on SATURDAY and it was now WEDNESDAY, but I still had not heard a word. Why was it taking this long to even have a discussion about starting the reconstruction? Bryan apologized for the delay and took responsibility. He asked what they could do to earn our business and make things right. I told him that all I wanted was to push forward with confidence, get the bathroom rebuilt, and move back in. He said he would have Chris contact me ASAP, hopefully within the hour. I waited, but the call did not come until later in the day when I was otherwise occupied. I called him back left a message to please call me ASAP. That was Wednesday at 5PM. I did not hear back from Chris until Friday morning. When Chris did call, he said "Unfortunately, Dry Force will not be able to "produce your claim." When I pressed for more details, he said that he had none. "The managers told me to tell you that we cannot produce this project for you." I pointed out that I had been waiting for his callback over a week at this point, and now that he was finally calling me back, it was to say that they weren't going to do the project but he had no idea why? They wasted our time and pushed back our turnkey timeline a FULL WEEK because they couldn't return a phone call. He repeated the same line. After our phone call, I spoke with Bryan again and asked why they could no longer work on our project. Bryan explained that the job was too small and it didn't make sense for them to take it on, adding that he was acting "in [my] best interests" to do what would be "best for [us]." I also asked him why he had the PM call to "explain" this to me when the PM didn't actually seem to know WHY they were refusing the job or have any information other than "the managers told me to." Bryan's tone was aggressive and condescending. He told me that he could tell I was "very, very upset" and that he was sure I "had [my] own side of the story" but that he "wasn't sure he had any answers that would satisfy [me]." I suspect he is correct in that, since he did not seem to have any answers to offer at all. Dry Force's Reconstruction Division seems to be an unprofessional, disorganized operation that has no respect for their client's time or circumstance. My family wanted to go home, and the neglect of Dry Force's Reconstruction Division added over a week onto our displacement timeline, at the very least. I'm not sure what portion of how the manager handled this was "earning our business" or "making things right," but I am sure of one thing: The Reconstruction Division of Dry Force doesn't seem to care about their clients and that sentiment goes all the way up to the top. read more

I was disappointed with everything about this company except for one person - Yuri. When no one else would communicate, return calls, return emails, etc., I learned that Yuri was someone that appreciated customer service and even did things that were beyond her scope of work. I even received a call from a manager named David who assured me that he would take care of the issues I was having. After his call, never heard another word from him nor did I see any changes. I gave them actually absolutely no stars. But I can't post this review without a star . They were an awful company to work with. They took their time and there were two days that their stuff was not working and it took him two days to come out to the house. They also created more damage to my floors, then was actually needed . They then proceeded to charge my insurance overcharge my insurance, and actually were not cooperative at all with my insurance. There was money owed and they put a lien on my house even though I am making payments monthly. We were referred to them by our plumber and I was so disappointed. WORST EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The renovation side of the company was a complete disaster. We lived with a ripped up house and holes in our walls for SIX MONTHS because we kept getting blown off. When they finally came to fix the house, they did a HORRIBLE job. It was a complete disaster then tried to charge us for work they didn't even do!! They charged us for new materials when they just reused our old materials and reinstalled them. When I tried to contact the accounting department about the discrepancies in our bill, all they did was take a few hundred off and then threaten to put a lean on our house. When our upstairs bathroom flooded and drained to the downstairs, the emergency plumbing company recommended Dry Force Restoration to help clean up the mess. They responded quickly and did an excellent job of setting up fans, plastic coverings,and making sure all areas were covered. Very professional and friendly. We also liked how well the company corresponded with us with exact times the technicians would arrive, and the daily monitoring of the drying process. They filed a claim for us and worked with our insurance company. Besides the water and damage, this was all rather effortless to get us back on track due to Dry Force. They did great with the dry out for the water leak I had. The restoration work is another story. It took a very long time to finish mediocre work. I couldn't live in my house for almost two months because it took some time for the guys to bring flooring samples for me to look at. The deadline to finish kept on being pushed out. When I was finally able to move in, I noticed their quality of work and was very disappointed. The communication between Patrick and I was not very great. He was busy and I was busy trying to transition my move to Texas being a single widow with two young kids. I received a bill to pay for my remainder balance, I told them I will pay it upon completion of work to satisfaction because I was not happy. I wish Patrick had told me, in the beginning, all cons to a specific flooring I chosen. I had this specific flooring, LVF done to my previous house and NEVER had any issues esthetically. It was beautiful. Now I am stuck with a huge gap between the floor and every door frame downstairs. They covered it with layers and layers of THICK caulking material that is not pleasing to the eye. Caulking skills along the baseboard were poorly executed as well. The painting job on my fireplace was not the greatest. There are still spots missed. The painter that came to fixed it, came at the end of the day. I can tell he didn't want to be there. He didn't cover all the spots Patrick and I talked about when he came over to take a look at it. He said it was the best he can do. I'm sorry. I had restorative work done before and they obviously don't have the eye for professional work. The President threatened to take me to collections if I didn't pay for my remaining balance. I would have if your company produced quality work in the beginning. I have excellent credit and have no problem paying for my bills on time. However, if your work is not completed. You're not getting paid. Do we pay for a sweater with only one sleeve? No. Patrick texted me a few days later, after the painter stopped by, asking how things looked. I told him it was not the greatest but a little better than before. At this point I was over them. Zero referrals. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered a discount toward my bill AFTER I payed it completely off. I told him I would appreciate that and if there were any leftover paint from the fireplace that I can use to touch up the fireplace that they have missed. He said he would update me with both after he talks to his boss. Never heard from him since April 17th. Also, I had a 500 dollar utility bill during the time my house was getting worked on because his workers decided to blast the AC all day long without being mindful to turn it off when they left. I wasn't living there at the time. Very disappointed in this company. Also, not to mention, they completely missed a large wet spot in my bottom cabinets from back in March 2022 water leak and I moved July 2022 to Texas to find wet wood and mold in my bottom cabinets. They did a horrible job repairing that as well. My bottom cabinets are now crooked. read more

Beware! If you are needing a service of this type, you are likely in a stressful situation with flooding or water damage. Dry Force will swoop in like a much needed savior and will tell you your insurance will cover the cost. Don't sign the contract without being aware that any cost (and there will be many) not covered will by your insurance company are your responsibility. Example: There is currently a charge for disinfecting the equipment after use ( almost $200) which is not covered as there are no Covid requirements in place as of April 2023. I actually tested positive for covid a week after the equipment was removed. There is SO much equipment used ( fans, scrubbers, dehumidifier) that it's hard to keep track of all the charges on the statement. Also, the noise you will endure for days is deafening. I suppose the service was needed but just know you will likely pay more out of pocket than expected. The technicians (Christian and Ernest) were hard working, polite and kind. read more

I called Dry Force as a result of having a hot water leak to dry the floors after the leak was repaired. During that process, which was pretty much hassle free I was told that Dry Force could help us with the restoration of our master bathroom. The idea of one company that could take care of everything was very appealing to me so we decided to hire them. Now we've had negative issues with dishonest contractors in the past so again the idea of dealing with a larger company was also appealing because we assumed the process would be far more honest and hassle free. Oh how wrong we were. Dry Force was a nightmare to deal with. The first project manager they sent to my house really had no idea what he was doing, which was later confirmed by his own boss who told me we were the first job he had ever done for them and that they would need to give him further training. He was removed from the job and we were passed off to a young man named Eric. Eric is very respectful and talks a big game, but was about as effective as the first guy. I called a handful of times to the main office to speak to a supervisor, I never got any response until I decided to fire them months later. Dry Force sent some contractors over who removed our sinks and countertop as well as brought the wrong color paint in early October and told us that as soon as the job got started that they'd be done within 5 to 10 days, as our master bathroom is a small one so not a very big job. After that we got nothing but excuses on why they couldn't get anything else done. Fast forward 90 days, we were told for the 4th time that the flooring we ordered was being delay, so I went out and within 24 hours had exactly the product they were saying could not be gotten anywhere. Really that's the same excuse I got for all of the other materials needed for the job as well. Dry Force literally supplied us with no materials whatsoever. Once I got the flooring in they sent their flooring contractor over to install the flooring I had purchased. He showed up with his girlfriend and not only did the task of laying interlocking tiles in an area less than 95 sq ft take hours on end, the job was done in such a shoddy way that I had to then go out and find a separate flooring company to fix their mistakes, obviously at an additional cost to myself. It was at this point we decided to part ways with Dry Force and fire them. Now long before they actually did anything at our home they told us that they needed $3500 before they could get started. We were told these monies were for materials. Remember they supplied us with literally zero materials, so I assumed we'd be able to get the majority of our money returned. After multiple heated discussions with a supervisor we received $500 back. Attached are pictures of the work they did and the condition they left our home and claimed $3000 worth of work had been done. The picture with the drying fans in the original condition of the bathroom before they began any kind of restoration project, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. This is not a company that can be trusted and definitely does not use quality contractors. Definitely avoid this company unless you want to be ripped off and deal with constant dishonesty. read more

Demo Dave with Dry Force took out walls in my closet, living room and bathroom. Several items were just ripped out and I cannot find screws or items to be put back. I noticed some black mold behind my kitchen cabinet that was not addressed even though Dave saw that it was wet. Another guy came out to pick up the equipment two days later (the electric panel was picked up two days after that) and said they needed to address the kitchen cabinet by tearing it out and putting fans and another electric panel in. I look forward to seeing the restoration price on Friday. read more

This will be an honest review, we had a water leak, it was recommended we call dry force. We did. They came spoke with us and setup a plan. They came inspected and took reading. A plan to take apart the kitchen sink area was set up, but first a quarantine area was set in place blocking off the kitchen sink. Dry force stated they would "brace in place" the kitchen counter top. At some point they without saying anything to us change the plan. They decided to move the counter top. In the process they broke the counter top. Set it down on the dining room floor. Continued working "finished" and left. When i called them, they said they were not liable for breaking it. They wanted to finish the process by collecting their final payment. We paid them. This process took about a month. As of today, the kitchen counter and sink still sit on the floor in our dining room table broken. The rebuild we have undertaken is taking place now without help from dry force. I write this review on behalf of my dad who is 96 years old and an army veteran who served in the Korean War. Is this how dry force honors veterans? At the start I'm asked to rate the service using stars. Dry force does NOT deserve any stars. This review should serve as a notice to the reader that you should know what dry force is doing at all times. Watch them at every step. Listen to the words. BRACE IN PLACE, DOES NOT MEAN REMOVE AND PLACE THE COUNTER TOP ON THE DINING ROOM FLOOR. A side note: the kitchen cabinets also rest on top of the kitchen island. My final note to this review is that the service of removing the mold was done. But the professional attitude of the dry force company was lacking in a major way. They took a beautiful kitchen counter top broke it, left it on the floor and really did an injustice. As i stated at the beginning this was an honest review on behalf of my dad. They did a great job drying out my home after my leak. So working with them on the "drying process" was very positive. Would definitely hire them again for that. But just that. I would not trust them with any of the fixing or construction part of the process related to the leak tho. They tried hard (and disrespectfully) to control the construction process. Wanted to see estimates from other companies and wanted direct access to my insurance claims agent. NOPE! Showed them the door. Full disclosure; a manager did call and apologize and admit the worker was in the wrong, and I appreciated that. But not gonna strong arm me into picking u as my contractor. Stick to the 'Dry' part of the business, keep the 'Force' outta the business plan. read more

I was referred to this company by a plumber. They brought and set up equipment to dry moisture behind my walls cause from a water leak. The equipment was only to be in my home for 5 days, it was closer to 8 when they came to pick it up and do the final inspection. The total cost of the job was $800. When the guy picked up equipment, I owed $300. I was never offered financing or a payment plan. I gave $500 upfront. I made payments of what I could. This all happened in June/July. I have since had hardships due to the pandemic, where utilities and food are priority. I made small payments of what I could, my current balance is $60, This morning, I made a payment of $1.43 that I had left on a gift card. I then received a rude/unprofessional/threatening text accusing me of playing games by paying the $1.43 and to pay my balance to avoid them putting a lien on the property. I should of read the reviews here and checked around before I agreed to use this company, unfortunately, I just took the plumbers recommendation. Think twice before using these folks. I wish I could upload the voicemails and text messages. I also will be contacting the BBB and Attorney General/Consumer Protection Office, because I feel I was gotten over on with the price, as I have checked around. I think they quoted me $800 as I had $500 cash up front and being a female who had no idea. But, really...a lien on the property over $60...smh, they will have their $59.57 before the years end. I had a pretty ghastly experience with this company, but I wanted to wait until everything was over to see how it played out before I left a review. It started with a leak behind our kitchen sink. We called our usual plumber (whom we will not call again) to fix the problem. He said something to the effect of "the insurance covers mitigation, so I'll call them out". I agreed, stupidly, because in hindsight, he didn't even know what insurance I had, or if I had any. Dry Force came out and set up a bunch of fans. Once again, I was naively under the impression that the insurance would 'cover' it. Little did I know, these fans cost 600 dollars... per day. Had they told me that, I would have asked them firmly, yet politely to leave. They told me that they needed three days with the fans. On day five, they finally showed up to let me know that nothing had been dried. They wanted to leave them for even longer, but finally elected not to. At this point, I hadn't received an invoice, a bill, a statement; nothing. They then called back and asked about rebuilding the kitchen. I agreed to a 'free' estimate. They sent someone out, and they told me that they would send an 11,000 estimate to my insurance. It seemed reasonable at the time. I then received a bill for 3,300ish from Dry Force. I called and asked what it was for. A woman told me over the phone that the 3,300 was for the down payment on the rebuild. A supervisor showed up to go over the restoration with me. We did want some upgrades, and I was then sent a quote for 14,000. Again, this seemed reasonable. I gave a cashiers check to the supervisor for the rebuild. Here is where everything went terribly wrong. I received an email from the supervisor saying that he needed payment "in full" to start the process. I asked him what the total was, and he told me 18,000ish. Oh my. I emailed back, completely confused. I had already paid 3,300 +150, and now my total was 18,000 on top of that. This was all after I had received, and signed, a 14,000 estimate. He called back and gave me a story about how the 18,000 quote was after he factored in granite counters. That seems silly, because the 14,000 quote I received had the granite counters included. To be fair, it said "granite or marble". Who on this planet has marble counters, I don't fathom I'll ever know. I emailed him and told him to forget it, and that I'd like a refund. This is when I realized the ugly truth. I got a call from Dry Force, and they told me that now, somehow, the 3,300 I paid was for the fans. Surprising, since two employees had already told me it was for the rebuild. Bottom line, I'm stuck. I got 1,700 in mitigation expenses from my insurance, so I'm out the rest. Make no mistake, this company is out to soak your insurance for every penny that they can and make it seem like they are your best friend. If your plumber recommends them, fire your plumber and find someone who doesn't deal with this company. To their credit, a manager called to get my side of the story. To their discredit, he didn't really seem to care that much. He admitted that they 'dropped the ball', but that's about it. I wish I got 3 grand every time I dropped the ball. I got 300 of my 3,300 back, but beware, they will take you for a ride. I'm submitting complaints the BBB and Texas AG's office of Consumer Protections. I doubt it will do any good, but people need to know about this company. read more

****update**** Even though the beginning started off rough, I want to say the GM Matt stepped in and did a fantastic job showing that he cares, making sure to make it right and showing he truly was sorry. I WAS SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY BEWARE!!! I was promised guaranteed by Dylan from Dry Force that all the work he did the day he came would definitely be covered by my insurance. I am a single woman living by myself & was taken advantage of. He was hired to remove toxic waste from my showers & tubs & clean toilets as they over flowed & he didn't even do a decent job on that! There was water damage in some of the walls so he cut out all the walls in my living room dining room bathrooms hallway my house is a war zone & he did it BEFORE MY INSURANCE APPROVED THE CLAIM!! I called Dry Force & spoke with the supervisor & he told me that's their standard procedure!! Guaranteeing me the customer that my insurance company will definitely pay before they even have a chance to come out & look at the damage!! That's bassackward!!
