They come patch up my system every spring always show up on time and fix everything.... I don't know how they are making money with what they charge but I'll take it... see you guys again in the spring! read more

Did the install, but did not do as instructed. Asked for an accurate sketch of the system, but never provided one. The owner was supposed to come out and review the work, but never did. Would not recommend this company. read more

They did the job, but charged 4x the amount of the controller if I were to purchase it myself. Rainbird ESP is $90-$130 online. They charged $385. It didn't make sense to not buy it because Home Depot wasn't open and I would have been charged more for the hourly rate to wait. read more

Great service very honest and knowledgeable Thanks Chris and James read more

Great experience. Robert and Joe were quick to respond, easy to communicate with and are very knowledgeable. The team was also very professional, cleaned up when done, on time and knocked it out quick. Would recommend Aqaumax for any sprinkler installation job. read more

Came out based on 2 problems and fixed one but suggested a solution for the 2nd problem which did not solve the problem. First fix would have been $120 in total but I spend almost $500 and still don't have my sprinkler system working correctly. read more

My experience with Aquamax is stellar. Tony is the guy who came out. He has been in the irrigation business all his life and it shows. He is not only very knowledgeable but also willing to share that knowledge with his customers. He clearly loves what he does and puts his heart into it. His commitment to customer satisfaction is evident. He came out and quickly went to work and knocked out my problems in just over 30 minutes. I am IMPRESSED. read more

I was looking for a sprinkler system maintenance company.....and this message is for the owner. When people review your company on yelp and report a bad experience...it's best to respond to them in a professional manner and , ask to fairly resolve the situation. ...and not point the finger at yelp....."Yelp is hiding the good reviews" "WHAT" ????? I WOULD NOT call your company for potential work just based on the bizzare response to a bad review. read more

Had a great experience today with Chris and his coworker.. They found problems quickly and were really nice to work with.Chris also solved the mystery we had with a leaking drain. Thank you for the great service! Patricia read more

Customer service does not exist. If you do call for help, they treat you like you are inconveniencing them. You are definitely not a priority, once they install the system, you no longer matter to them. When I first got the sprinkler system, I was so excited. Now when I see anything about Aquamax, I literally cringe. It's so disappointing to spend all that money (they are definitely not cheap) and be treated so badly. What is even worse, my sales person/ contact person has some ownership in the company. If an owner will treat you badly, can you imagine how the employees will treat you. Also very difficult to communicate with the installers when they can't even speak English. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Don't believe anything they tell you. The competition will surely be better than this group! read more

Scheduled a sprinkler system check on 2020-05-11 between 9 AM to 10:30 AM due to concern that City of Plano road work might have damaged the system. The scheduling was smooth, however the service provided by the technician was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. 1) The technician didn't call my agent before his arrival, luckily my agent got to my property at 9 AM and found that he was almost done with his work. 2) He initially quoted the service for $69, however raised it up to $100, such a rip-off even worse than the face mask price during this COVID period. OK, let's gets into the drama. 3) The technician forced my agent to pay him $69 immediately after he was done, however when I scheduled the service I specifically asked for the invoice to be sent to me as the City of Plano will have to pay for the expenses, which has been agreed upon reservation. So my agent called up Aquamax Sprinkler to coordinate this, the reply was IT IS UP TO THE TECHNICIAN to decide, such a joke, no credibility!!! Well, the guy insisted my agent to pay him IMMEDIATELY and threatened to shut off the system, oh yeah, he raised the charge to $100 just because my agent was explaining to him what has been agreed upon regarding the payment, and said he can raise the charge again if my agent keeps arguing with him. My agent, who is a lady with many years experiences in real estate, paid him immediately after this terrible conversation, she was threatened and shocked and can't imagine such rude behavior can ever be tolerated 4) During this entire work and conversation, the technician was not wearing face mask, and has no intent to keep social distancing, which put other people lives at risk. 5) The technician never explained to my agent what has been checked and there was nothing provided in written regarding the system check, I have both sprinklers and drip-line installed, not sure if he was able to test all of them. 6) Again, terrible service, no credibility, no respect, and unprofessional. read more

Aquamax Sprinkler Systems - Irrigation Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Unfortunately, I was never able to use their services. I attempted, but they seemingly didn't want any business. I first pursued AQUAMAX SPRINKLER SYSTEMS via telephone, all of them, but have NEVER received a phone call back. Alternatively, I attempted contact by means of email, again, no luck. Finally, after two-weeks I get an email response saying, "I have informed him (JW) three times with your information." After almost another week, on a Friday, I get a phone call from "JW" for an appointment that we set for the forthcoming Monday. If anyone can take any guesses on how the set appointment played out, you'd probably assume he didn't show, well that was exactly the case. When calling "JW" about the missed appointment, he said he got busy and figured I wasn't home anyways. At this point I told him to forget about it and his response was, "Are you sure?", then "Ok." I'm absolutely irritated by the lack of communication from a business standpoint, but equally baffled at the lack of urgency and complete lackadaisical nature of this company. I'm willing to spend money for an entire system install, but AQUAMAX SPRINKLER SYSTEMS doesn't seem to be bothered by it. read more

Would not recommend this company! Unfortunately, I was mislead to trust this company by A level reviews on Angie's list and BBB rating, but those will not protect you from bad service or lazy, slow technicians. Paid $70 for the "tune-up" coupon on Angie's list and was able to call, speak to someone on the phone right away, and get a technician out here in a timely manner. From that point, it was downhill. Eval was made, estimate given, with a plan made to come back and repair three major leaks (caused by tree/stump removal and the re-build of a retaining wall), then re-eval the system to determine if any additional repairs or updates were needed. Technician arrives a week later (on Friday) to tell me he is sick (comes to my house because he does not have my phone number!), so we reschedule for the following Monday @ 9 AM. He arrives on Monday @ 11:30 AM (LATE!) and works on other "issues" than the three agreed upon leaks - plus he decides to visit my neighbor who also has a leak and discuss his issues (on my dime) for 30 minutes. Three hours later @ $90 per hour plus parts, only one of the major leaks is repaired and four sprinkler heads replaced (which was not part of the work agreed upon) and, after 3 hours (scheduled for 4), he wants to leave for the day. Now, he can't return for an additional five days and estimates another $400 of work plus installation of a new timer control ($350). All work was stopped at this point and we have contracted with another "reputable" vendor to complete our job. However, we are now out $475 for little to no work and starting over with another company..... Oh, I neglected to mention that any time I attempted to contact the company (after the initial "eval" appointment, no one would answer or return my phone calls - all I could do was leave a message). This company will be reported to Angie's List & BBB! If you're reading this.... check out my review of Fellows Irrigation in McKInney. This is who you want to work with. Highly recommended! read more

I have waited some time to write this review (had them put in May 2013) to make sure the sprinklers worked properly and the quality was up to par. I have to say I am very happy with the sprinklers Aquamax installed. They installed them very quickly (I believe it was only 1 day). The only problem was the workers did not show us how to use the rainbird, they just set it up and that was all. We had to teach ourselves through the manual. But that's not the end of the world and the sprinklers worked perfectly until we had a little snag earlier this year. This is the only reason I knocked a star off, I actually wish it could only be half a star but Yelp won't let me. I noticed the drip irrigation wasn't working properly and the water was shooting out of one hole with great force and wasn't coming out of any other hole in the drip line. I called and spoke with the owner who said it may be due to a rabbit biting the line (I live in Forney so that's not too far-fetched!) but still it was a strange thing to say, he immediately told me that if that the warranty probably wouldn't apply, that there wasn't a warranty on the drip irrigation. He seemed a little eager to have the warranty not apply. I had them come out anyways, I had my original paperwork in hand to show there was in fact a warranty. Once the workers saw that, they called the owner who allowed them to fix it under the warranty. So at the end of the day, they did right by the warranty but I want to knock off a little on the stars because they were all to quick to not uphold that, what if I didn't save my paperwork...would they try to charge me then? Who knows. Other than that recent snafu, I would recommend this company for sprinkler system installation. read more

DO NOT USE THEM. THEY WILL DESTROY your yard and your sprinkler wire. And worse they will MAKE YOU PAY for their stupidity. Unbelievable. Very unprofessional technician totally messed up my yard. No knowledge what so ever. Find a bunch of excuses to cover his lack of professional knowledge. This should be (-) minus read more

Would never do business with this company. Extremely rude receptionist. Completely useless.

Worked with Chris who is a veteran irrigation specialist. He was great. Found the issues quickly and finished the repairs in a very timely fashion and respectful of our time and his quality of my satisfaction. Price is fantastic compared to other estimates as well. read more

Had company come out for a check up on my system. I had noted that I didn't think drip lines in flower beds were working right. They show up as scheduled and call me to say drip line stations weren't programmed so that's why not getting water. No, i turned the stations off and was hand watering so that's why not getting water . They went on to tell me rest of yard is getting water. Well a week after I find a head buried about 3 inches under grass. And how was that area of lawn getting water? The gentleman I spoke with was nice but not sure what I got for my money besides them reprogramming controller which I already knew how to do read more

If I could give them a 0 rating, I would. This company is absolutely horrible. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! I had them come out and replace a few valves that were stuck. I was charged for 3 hours of labor at $90 an hour when the actual work only took about 15 minutes per valve. The rest of the time was spent trying to find the valves with their equipment. The technician was a really nice guy, but they are a complete rip off company. $90 an hour to walk around my yard with a wand. I was also mislead by the BBB rating. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. read more

We called Aquamax to fix our existing system which had been installed (DIY) by the previous owner. A couple of heads were installed in a bad location causing water to come in through the windows and several other heads were broken. There was also a problem with the valve and the control box. The guy from Aquamax showed up on time and worked quickly. He was polite and patient with me as he showed me how to use the new control box. Several months later we redid our landscaping and added a deck out back, so we called them back to move some more heads and reprogram our zones. While they were there they noticed another broken head and replaced it for us at no extra cost. We recently bought another property and have had them out to service the existing system at that location as well. Each time we've used them we've found their prices to be very reasonable and have recommended them to several of our friends and neighbors. They have always been quick and courteous and they do good work. read more

These guys are professional, thorough, and dedicated. I had a leak that was not easy to diagnosis. Methodically, Chris Kuntz and Joe Wylie reviewed all variables. Chris worked tirelessly and fixed the problem. Throughout, they were honest and fair. When it came to scheduling, Devon was a gem. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. I even recommended them to a close friend the following day. read more

I called Aquamax to adjust some sprinkler heads on my back patio. Matt arrived on time as scheduled. He was very thorough with the work, got everything adjusted as needed, and answered my questions about the system. I will use Aquamax again for service on my system. read more

Called Aquamax to come out and fix a broken head and check out my entire system for make sure I was getting good coverage and all parts were working correctly. They came out the same day I called around 5:00 pm and fixed my broken head and checked my system out. They made many adjustments as to spray coverage and recommended we replaced two heads with taller ones for better coverage which we agreed to. They completed the work in a timely manner, thanks Tony & Louis for a job well done. I will continue to use this company, I prefer to work with a small business rather a much larger one that has many levels of management. Typically a small business provides superior service and normally at lower prices. KB read more

Robert called me 4 days after I requested an installation quote. He did not schedule the visit, and as I have video cameras installed on the property, I'm on the phone with the Police filing a trespassing report as I write this. He also did damage to my gated car gate trying to enter the back yard without permission. He even corrected me saying my Pit Bull wasn't in the back yard so it wasn't a problem!!! read more

My idiot fence contractor messed up my sprinkler system and then refused to repair it in a timely manner. My mother recommended Aquamax. Robert Maxvill came out within a couple of days to repair the leak in the line and replace/configure the heads so that my dying grass would get better irrigation. He did an awesome job and for less than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend this company! read more

We have a 16 zone sprinkler system and all but 4 zones stopped working. Obviously there were a lot of valve locations that were buried deep and a lot of wiring. James and Tommy came out and had to locate all the valves and trace everything out first and then find where the problem was occurring. They were obviously experts at what they were doing. It took longer than I hoped for, which meant a fairly expensive bill, but it turned out the problem was a difficult one. One of the wires under tree roots had been stretched and broken by the roots. They dug a trench for a new cable through a large root system and ran a new cable and voila, everything started working. They were then meticulous about making sure everything worked and replaced/fixed all sprinklers and replaced valves that had stopped working or become clogged. A big thumbs up to these guys for getting a difficult job done in 100+ degree weather. read more

Aquamax Sprinkler System did not follow the estimated, the finally charge is much more by $125 per hour with kindergarten skill. If you didn't agree the pay that unfair amount and not satisfied their job, the company will report police and cheating the police officer said you want scam them in order to force you to pay that unfair amount. They provided the estimated first, then they don't follow the price they estimated, the finally charge is by hourly rate, much more than estimated. It is fully not trustable company. They did not follow whatever you need to do, they did whatever they like to do without note you. We put the new grass and asking to make sprinkler heads longer, they have 2 people came, gave us the estimated $220 for about 10 sprinkler heads, then only one people was working and another was talking, then charged us $240 totally after a hour, and still left 5 heads same as before, when I asked them to finish those 5 heads and make them higher, they said they will charged to $270 totally, I asked why and the totally estimated was $220, already very expensive, they said they charge by hour, not estimated, and $125 per hour and they replaced 2 heads. We are so disagree to pay this unfair amount; because they are not following the price they estimated; because they did not finish their job with estimated; because they don't tell you they charge by hour before and left only one people was working, another was not, then spent more time and charge us more; because we never asked to replace the heads; because two people replace 2 sprinkler heads and extends 5 sprinkler heads needed more than one hour, still have not done yet, they are so not professional. We just want to pay whatever they should finish and estimated. They did wrong thing but still want us pay them with unfair amount, then this company called the police and cheating police officer said we want scam them. This is my nightmarish experience. read more
