I've used Aquamax a few times now. I am always pleased with the service. Someone is usually able to come out within a day or two. The staff is very friendly. Their prices are reasonable. Antonio help me last time and was terrific! read more

James was recommended to me by Josh of Pristine Landscaping and Lighting to make an adjustment to the sprinklers for 2 stone planters that Pristine Landscaping was going to build for me. These are the two finished planters, so of course the sprinkler work was accomplished before they were built. James came right out. He noticed that a connection of the plumbing installed by the builder was too small, and not of good quality, and he just went ahead and changed it out for me. I appreciated that 'going the extra mile'. I highly recommend James of The Sprinkler Guys in Plano, TX to do any sprinkler type work you may need to have done. read more

I was plagued by standing water around my house... and continual foundation movement. I requested responses to may drainage needs from Yelp rated providers. Aqua max was the ONLY company (out of 5) that responded to my request for a bid. Joe was great! Provided me multiple options (including a French drain system that we didn't go with) and we agreed on 9 surface drains with connections to my guttering system + regrading and sodding. Had a couple issues with sprinklers -- which were handled same day! Joe provided continuous response on all issues. And... a the customer proof point.... 2 weeks after the work was done... we had torrential rains.... not a single pool of standing water... it's all heading out per Joe's design. Re-sodding is taking nicely too. I couldn't be happier with the job, responsiveness all around. If I ever need more work, these folks get my business. Thanks Joe! If I ever need more drainage work (which I'm doubting right now)... Aquamax and Joe have my business read more

We had a serious sprinkler issue caused by a previous contractor. We looked for reviews on local contractors and chose Aquamax. Dalton, who works for Aquamax, came to our home (on time), began working immediately, found the issues, and fixed them promptly. We are extremely pleased with his hard work, honesty, and kindness. We would absolutely recommend Aquamax to others. read more

Had issues with my sprinkler system not working. Found out just a solenoid needed to be replaced and the controller needed to be rebooted. The contoller had been hit with a power surge but was still working. The repair guy told me if I had to replace the controller the company charges $350 but if you want to diy it's only $60 at home depot. I appreciate how informative he was and giving some info for some diy maintenance. Would definitely use them again if needed. read more

Scheduled a sprinkler system check on 2020-05-11 between 9 AM to 10:30 AM due to concern that City of Plano road work might have damaged the system. The scheduling was smooth, however the service provided by the technician was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. 1) The technician didn't call my agent before his arrival, luckily my agent got to my property at 9 AM and found that he was almost done with his work. 2) He initially quoted the service for $69, however raised it up to $100, such a rip-off even worse than the face mask price during this COVID period. OK, let's gets into the drama. 3) The technician forced my agent to pay him $69 immediately after he was done, however when I scheduled the service I specifically asked for the invoice to be sent to me as the City of Plano will have to pay for the expenses, which has been agreed upon reservation. So my agent called up Aquamax Sprinkler to coordinate this, the reply was IT IS UP TO THE TECHNICIAN to decide, such a joke, no credibility!!! Well, the guy insisted my agent to pay him IMMEDIATELY and threatened to shut off the system, oh yeah, he raised the charge to $100 just because my agent was explaining to him what has been agreed upon regarding the payment, and said he can raise the charge again if my agent keeps arguing with him. My agent, who is a lady with many years experiences in real estate, paid him immediately after this terrible conversation, she was threatened and shocked and can't imagine such rude behavior can ever be tolerated 4) During this entire work and conversation, the technician was not wearing face mask, and has no intent to keep social distancing, which put other people lives at risk. 5) The technician never explained to my agent what has been checked and there was nothing provided in written regarding the system check, I have both sprinklers and drip-line installed, not sure if he was able to test all of them. 6) Again, terrible service, no credibility, no respect, and unprofessional. read more

Two stars for thanking them. I've called this company 3-4 times and left a message. No return for 5 days. Finally decide to go to the experts. I pulled out YouTube and after 20 videos I was able to figure out my problem. $6.86 later and I'm back in service. So why two stars- I appreciate the fact they never called me back because if they did I would be out $100-200. read more

Came out to my house, told the guy what I needed. He turned on the sprinkler system all the zones put flags up. Asked me to pay $100 for the visit and said this hundred dollars would go to the repair. He said he can't do the repair today he would need to schedule my work he said someone will call from the office. Absolutely no call it's been two weeks I'm out $100 a few gallons of water. Sad that this company takes peoples money like this. read more

Aquamax put seven underground access points down the center of my lawn. Its's hard to have a good looking lawn with that many pockmarks so prominently displayed. When I complained, Robert Maxvill said that was normal. Maybe it's normal for someone who doesn't care. read more

Excellent, prompt service. Both technicians were helpful in explaining the components of what needed to be repaired, and how to prevent damage in the future (a frozen RPZ valve went south with our unusually cold temps in Wylie). I'll be getting their bid for my residential system in the coming year. read more
