After he finished, he showed me the before-and-after photos on his phone, and the difference was pretty self explanatory. My dryer was running fine before the service, but Ted cleaned the inside lint duct and filter anyways and I'm sure it will work better now. Just to give you some context of the work Ted did, he moved the dryer out of the way, vacuumed and cleaned the duct from inside and then vacuumed and cleaned the dryer pipe from the outside, a lot of work for a fair price. If you're looking for reliable, high-quality service, I highly recommend Aura Duct Care and Ted.

Arial responded within a few minutes and explained everything in one message ( not like other companies saying "we need to take a look first", "depends on condition", "take pictures for us" etc.). They have affordable and competitive rates, they don't charge you those fake fees like "second floor fee", "apartment complex fee", "big furnace fee". I called them next day and scheduled an appointment. On the day of my appointment Eddy and Akyl showed up on time wearing masks, gloves and shoe covers (still COVID times). Also they had sent a text message saying they were on the way and their ETA. They had big professional equipment to clean our ducts. First they checked our ducts and told us what kind of brush they would use so it won't damage the ducts. It took them only 2-3 hours to finish the job, because they knew what they were doing and they were working nonstop. After the job they made sure everything is left clean and neat. I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of…read moreover 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

Be very, very careful with this company…read more They came in to give an estimate for one repair, but that turned into a big, scary report of all the issues, pointing strongly at a completely new system. Ok. They had photos. Their explainations sounded reasonable, especially when coupled with the photos they quickly flashed through on their tiny phone. So, I told them that we would likely move forward, but I require two things - a copy of all of those photos, and two estimates, one for what they wanted to sell me, and a separate itemized repair list. I got two estimates - one for the original they were pushing, and another for something MORE expensive. No itemized list of repairs. No photos. When I reached out in email, they wanted a phone call. There is almost always a good reason for not wanting to leave a record via email. But, $15,000-ish for a new 5 ton unit, with no new duct work... yeah, you'd better *really* back that up. They could not (would not?) I now have to suspect that thier photos were doctored in some way, maybe even not all of my unit. Who knows? Who looks inside, like that? And, I suspect their reason for not sending me copies of those were dubious. They also pressured the sale claiming that "prices go up next week for Summer." Sha. Ok. This was in March. Good luck with these tactics. Not for me. If you want to give them enough rope to hang themselves to find out for yourself, just act ignorant and as excited for a new unit as they suddenly are to sell you on it. You'll see. It'll cost you $120 for the scammy diagnosis, though.

Which....it was supposed to be free regardless, so congrats on sticking to that part. You laid on the floor and literally leaned over, taking photos upside down. There was one flexible duct (that could be relocated easily) that you, yourself ​.said that it would be an easy, straight shot. I even suggested zigging or zagging if need be, but you were adament that the best and easiest way would be straight under the floor. It went from "this'll be easy" to "well, we're looking at 7500 on the high end, because this is a complicated job". It isnt just that it was a price i dont like, it was a price that would blindside anyone. Especially since your website claims that services BEGIN at $300. No one said they expected the job to be $300. But if thats the starting point, I would really love an itemized invoice of how much everything costs, if im being quoted between 6500 and 7500. I was prepared to pay up to 1500 for that job, which is on the high end of reasonable. But for coring 8inches by 4.5 inches into concrete, a 15ft connection with 4 right angles and a damper...7500 "on the high end, it could be a grand less" is way out of the ballpark. In a nutshell, claiming that relocation services START at 300, it gives this client that notion that even the jobs you see as "complicated" wouldnt be more than 2000 "on the high end". Which is why i got the impression that you didn't want the job. Please don't backtrack like you didnt ask me to show you what your own website says as a way to overcome an objection to a price estimate. It doesn't give much confidence to the client when you're saying that your web technician made some kind of mistake. I also work in sales. And when you have a starting price listed, the price quoted usually bears some resemblance. Like i said, i was prepared to pay up to 1500 for this job, maybe even 2000. It sounds like maybe you just didn't like the review you got. You started great, and even the price was your perogative to charge, it's YOUR business. But don't backtrack, don't try and have two people give a review for a single interaction, and don't react to reviews that you don't like as though any normal person in any normal tax bracket wouldn't be offended by a 7500 quote when your site says services start at 300. Its giving "intrigue people with a low base price to get me in the door, and then it doednt matter if im hired, charge whatever, because i'll either get to go to the bahamas on them, or i'll at least get two good reviews." So im just letting people know. Sam is very personable, very approachable, and seems to really know what he is doing. That said, don't expect a reasonable price estimate commiserate with the pitch on the website. And look for Sam to be offended if he isnt given an exemplary review. ​? For the record: ... It took four days because my mother was in town, and I waited until she left. Painting this picture of a potential client as though they maliciously attacked your business for pleasure is abbhorant. Especially when you said multiple times that you wanted a review. And especially since I simply said what happened and my impression. Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it an attack. There were things that i didnt like, as well. This has nothing to do with your level of work, because no work was performed. But you still stuck your qr code out and expected feedback. Which is what I put in my review. It's feedback. So you can be better. Right? Why press for a review even though you know that no work was performed...what did you expect we review? It's interesting, that in the week since, the website has changed, and there are no more free in-person estimates. ​

Alfredo was A++++…read more We had a 9 year old HVAC that was dying in 2023 and called out numerous companies to quote and diagnose for possible repair. We had to deal with a lot of salesmen-y type of people that didn't feel honest. Quoting huge numbers and telling us our AC was definitely going to die any moment. Telling us we had to buy these huge expensive replacements. We knew it was going bad, but the experience we had with the greasy salesmen techs made us decide to wait for it to fail before trying again to find someone good. It finally failed May 2026. I did my research again and found this company. The reviews were great but I was still really nervous because of our last experience. Called them out, fully expecting to go through the process of calling multiple people before finding someone. However, Alfredo was immediately different from the others. He is such a kind and personable person. What a great first impression. If you are able to ask by name, I suggest ask for Alfredo. He arrived exactly on time, too. He didn't feel like a salesperson at all. He felt honest and genuine. He gave us all of our options. From repair to full and complete replacement and everything in between. He discussed with us the pros and cons of each option. It never felt like he was pushing us one way or the other. It felt like he just wanted us to have a working AC that worked for us, period. He also spoke equally to both my husband and I. Many technicians tend to only speak to my husband which is annoying since I take care of most of the home management. Previously we were told we had to do this super expensive option to keep our upstairs cool but Alfredo told us we likely didn't need it, and if we did, we could have it added later. I knew right away we didn't need to have anyone else come out. We chose them and they were able to install our new system same day. We left the house, and they were very respectful of our house while they were here alone. They cleaned up after themselves and locked the doors behind them. He said they would likely be done around 2am and they finished at exactly 1:59am! We had a Lego display on the wall that I'm guessing got bumped (I forgot to remove it before they arrived so that was my bad). Some pieces fell off and broke apart and they put them all on the table. I've knocked that thing off myself and finding those scattered pieces is annoying. No missing pieces at all. I was impressed by this small thing. Just another example of the care and thoughtfulness of the crew. The AC is incredible. I'm very happy so far with our choice in system and in who we picked to install it. I don't feel bamboozled or taken advantage of in any way. Highly recommend! Very glad I found them.
