I don't normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I've…read morehad such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy. I first contacted Good Faith Energy to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future. My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon. I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you. My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn't thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project. My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total). Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install. I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it. There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn't there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week. Since the install, I've had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project. In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW.

We had extensive time delays, poor work, and dangerous materials left on our property. I would not recommend this company. This is my first experience having a home owners claim and I rarely write a review. My husband travels for work and I am a teacher with 2 young children. Unfortunately, I foresee this issue costing our family more money in the future. I would also hate for anyone to have to go through what we did with this company. We had our roof inspected after a hail storm hit our neighborhood in early May. We have had many storms and just never filed a claim. JD was our contact person with TX Sky Exteriors. My husband and I shared that we had weathered many storms but had not filed a claim. JD said he had a great deal of experience in similar situations and was able work through things with the insurance company. Our date of service got pushed back 6 times. In September we were notified that JD had been in accident earlier that month and was no longer our contact. This was terrible news and we wanted to be understanding. We waited, emailed, called and rarely had anyone return our email/call. Then the weather was terrible and we got pushed back again, and we were told the insurance company was taking their time. We have USAA and this is not typically the case. This was easily the worst experience with a company I have ever experienced. Phone calls/texts were not returned. When the roof was finally replaced, they damaged our gutters, left shingles in our pool, carport, and yard. Large nails and metal linings were in our side yard and front yard. We have two young children we didn't let them go in the front yard for over 3 weeks concerned they would step on a nail. They left a piece of metal on the carport that thankfully we were able to remove before it worked its way off and fell on a vehicle. Finally, they finally came back this month. Nine months later we have finally stopped finding nails and had the yard and some gutters have been repaired. The shingles are lifting on the left lower side of our home. The service man who came out stated, that was not within his area of expertise. I just have NO words. I am a person who researches and calls references. I had no red flags. A roof replacement should not be the most frustrating and exhausting experience. It should not be this hard to have an old roof replaced. I feel it is my responsibility to share our experience and prevent this from happening to someone else. I only hope this company will make things right. We need the shingles fixed, gutters fixed, and metal trim fixed. Our roof is the worst on the block and it is "new." Disappointed teacher and family.

Solar panels plus storage has increased my efficiency and lowered my carbon footprint. After doing…read moreextensive research on which solar provider will provide me with the overall best service, warranty, long-term care and maintenance, I narrowed it down to; Telsa and Solarugreen. Even though I own their car, their customer service, both vehicles and solar programs was less than desirable. I selected Solarugreen as my local provider and installer, because they could provide local service, respond to additional requests for added upgrades, and they have prior knowledge, experience, and installation familiarity with my system. These were just a few determining facts that lead me to Solarugreen, but after we initiated the project I'd learn that they afforded many more benefits and expertise then I had thought I needed. Partnering with Solarugreen allowed me to be engaged at all levels of photovoltaic (PV) selection, inverter performance and battery storage selection for a whole house system. As a consumer with 3 EVs and a high demand for energy consumption, I knew this solar system needed to be the best performing system that I could find for a fair market value and that would last greater than 20 years. That being said, Enphase was selected because they could deliver on my grid agnostic needs, while allowing me to capturing clean and free energy from the sun. My sleek, elegant, black Solaria 14.9 kW panels out performed my expectations, while not taking away from the curb appeal of my home. I would highly recommend the 355- or 370-watt panels to everyone. When you select Enphase, make sure you request the IQ8 microinverter, which are the state-of-the-art inverters for a multitude of great reasons. Since receiving Enphase Empower and Encharge battery storage system, it has greatly increased my energy independence away from the grid by 95%, and reduced my electrical cost by 75-80% from my previous monthly expenditures, thus getting me closer to being off the grid. In the past 8 months, my solar production is over 14 Mwh of energy, 5 Mwh of Exported energy back to the grid and nearly 700 kWh stored in the batteries for night time and off grid operations just in the past 40 days since the batteries were installed. In 4 months, I will have had this system installed for a full year, and I can wait to see what my overall calculation on my return on my investment for the future and potentially how much energy could be sold back to the electric companies, earning me money. Solarugreen has walked with me through some unchartered waters while acquiring permits (electrical, building and solar) from the city, navigating through the 30% Federal Tax Incentives, with the Oncor application for state tax incentive, and the state's homestead Exemption Application for Solar Energy Device, all of which have save me an enormous amount of money. Furthermore, Solarugreen coordinated all of my contractors and over saw the site management throughout the process. At the conclusion of the entire process, I was presented with a binder, that neatly included all my permits, solar sun survey, cost projections and solar projection and energy consumption charts, product survey, and production performance comparisons, warranties, maintenance agreements and invoice. Amazingly, I don't know of ANY vendor who would do this for a consumer. If I ever needed follow up information on my system, here is my "go to" book should I sell my home or had to MRA a replacement part or upgrade my system. Moreover, the solar system has undoubted increased my home's market value and has extended the life of my roof by 25 additional years were panels are installed. What a win-win scenario! Bottom line, I am glad that I selected Solarugreen, and am exceedingly pleased that we jointly selected a system predicated on my historical usage date and consumptions demands. It was both wise and practical to build a system based on data and not what would be nice! My solar system could make me money based on energy sold back to the grid, but that process isn't as transparent as I would like and comes with a lot of "strings" and contracts attached. Solarugreen connected me with solar specialists and engineers at Enphase and together we designed to my specifications and budget. I couldn't have asked for better partners. Solarugreen is truly a One-Stop Shopping vendor. While I've gotten no compensation or incentives for this review, I simply know good friendly professionalism when I see it. Janet, the owner/manager for Solarugreen, made multiple trips to my home and persisted with EnPhase until we got the answers and solution to correct the problem.
