I don't normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I've had such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy. I first contacted Good Faith Energy to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future. My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon. I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you. My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn't thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project. My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total). Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install. I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it. There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn't there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week. Since the install, I've had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project. In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW. read more

They've been in business for 10+ years and their customer service is stellar. The sales process was no pressure. When I had questions regarding the contract, Mo (the owner) called me and personally went over every question/concern I had and was happy to accommodate me and change what made me uneasy in order to put my mind at ease. He was beyond nice and accommodating. The installation process was thorough and smooth. They happily worked with our every need and request. Beyond that, they are local and they always have someone who answers your phone calls and emails quickly. Once the installation process was complete, they sent out an expert (Frans) to go over how my entire system worked, what to do in case of an outage, how to go off grid, and how to save the most money by using the right electric company combined with programming tactics. He was so extremely knowledgable, super nice, and very patient as he spent several hours with me teaching me and answering any questions I had. He also gave me his number in case I had any further questions in the future. We had 75 solar panels installed on our roof with 4 Tesla back-up batteries. I rarely write reviews. Kinda feel if something is good there is no need, but when something is bad it's good to warn folks. Well for me, I'm breaking the cycle and writing an EXCELLENT review. In the fall of 2020 I was searching for companies to install solar panels and powerwall. I met with 3 companies and ultimately decided on Good Faith. Their price was very competitive with the other companies, installed top quality panels and THEY HAD TESLA POWERWALL inventory. At the time I was looking the powerwall was in high demand and only Good Faith had inventory. Fast forward to the Dallas deep freeze in February my panels and powerwall were already installed and I didn't suffer the fate of many in north Dallas without power. I was happy! Well it doesn't end here. I had a few warranty issues and this is where the integrity of a company will either shine or fail. Well Good Faith will receive kudos. I turned to Good Faith Energy after one of their "open houses" they did last year. I already have a system (2016) that was being serviced by ADT Solar, and after a couple of years of abysmal customer service from them, and a refusal to honour their warranty, I turned to GFE to just replace the malfunctioning panel entirely and just paid to have it dealt with. Cost was fair, communication was great (other than a hiccup when they upgraded their SMS notification system, these things happen) and the service from the technician was stellar. Let me just start by saying I was honestly very skeptical about reaching out to a solar company because there's so many scammers and horror stories out there. It turns out reaching out to Good Faith Energy was the best decision I have ever made. Long story short, I had some pre-existing solar panels that I had installed from Tesla that got damaged in a hail storm and I was hoping to deal with someone locally that could help me get it taken care of. (If you are familiar with Tesla's customer service, it leaves a little to be desired) To my pleasant surprise, I reached out to Good Faith and got an email response within a couple hours saying they were willing to help. Within a couple days, they sent someone out with a drone to come and provide me an estimate. After talking to Alicja (who has been wonderful in communication) I told her I was also having an issues with low solar production and she told me about some options and she noticed most of my panels that were installed by Tesla were on the north side of my house, which isn't ideal. I told her that my HOA had declined to let me install any on the south because it would be visible from the street. She then later informed me that Texas code says an HOA can't regulate that if it's going to affect production by more than 10%, which I was unaware of and Tesla themselves didn't bother to tell me. Good Faith was able to help me fight the HOA on that matter and get some panels added on the south and my solar production has been better than ever. Technician Stan did an amazing job on the install and made sure it integrated with my inverter perfectly. Good faith has done an amazing job with 2 projects on my property. I called them to try to trouble shoot problems with a 48-panel system on my property installed by another company. Good Faith's maintenance and repair team has been amazing! They are fixing problems they didn't create, salvaged some older panels, filed for warranty replacement of damaged panels, returned to my home multiple times as parts came in or weather messed up our plans. They suggested putting it under the carport instead of the garage!!! I said-No!
