I've used Peak Roofing now for a couple of commercial roof leak repairs and the tech I've been working with, Charlie, is a rock star. When I got multiple quotes for roof repairs he was the most attentive, the most thorough, and Peak had very reasonable pricing. Not the lowest, but paired with the thorough report and warranty on the work, you know that they're not just trying to do a sloppy job. Finding great help for commercial properties is pretty challenging these days. peak roofing tried to replace the roof on my country creek condo a short while back. in doing so, they lifted the a/c condenser, and broke the coolant supply line. coolant flooded into the bedroom ceiling causing the ceiling to collapse. when i advised peak of what happened, they completely denied causing the damage. do not use this company. they are unqualified to install a roof without causing major damage. g.l. traylor 214-926-8361 read more

I learned a lot about the roofing business over the last few months. Mainly that there are a lot of shady companies out there. It's like they have a roofing contractor script because most of the companies I looked at told me the same questionable story about getting my roof replaced. I don't know anything about roofing but some of the things I was told couldn't have been correct. I got a total of 5 bids and 3 of those I completely did not trust. Lots of weird games going on as I was getting bids. Marc at Peak was hands down the best to deal with. I actually feel bad because he was the fourth person I got a bid from and I was very guarded and skeptical. Marc was extremely straightforward and in my opinion very honest. He made it very easy. So easy I kept wondering what the catch was going to be. There wasn't one. The range in bid prices was stunning. Even with the same brand of shingles. Peak Roofing's price came in towards the lower end of the bid range so I felt I got good service and quality at a fair price. The roof is such an expensive repair and obviously there's lots of money out there based on the trucks some of these roofing guys drive. Definitely at times an overwhelming experience. After the hail storms in the spring of 2022, I contacted Jeff at Peak Roofing to provide a quote on replacing/repairing my roof and fence. I had used his company in prior years and was very satisfied with the work and customer service. This second go around was no different. The roof replacement and a new fence were completed on schedule and they were more than willing to work around my timeline as well. We reached out to PEak for and estimate on gutter repairs. They previously placed new gutters on our in-laws house and cane highly recommended. Jared arrived early for our appointment which was great. He quickly assessed our situation and laid out multiple options from things we could do on our own to full replacement. I was happy with some of the work from Peak Roofing, though in all the negatives outweighed the positives by a fair margin. The roof was in need of repair after one of those classic Texas hail storms. I looked around online and found Peak Roofing here on Yelp where the reviews are glowing. I was contacted by Geen and for the most part he was fine. It wasn't until the end of the months-long experience that I realized there was an issue. The first indication was the use of a fool that Geen chose to work on my fence, which was also pretty damaged by the hail. On a number of occasions the fence guy and his buddy were working well after dark, something that my wife was especially not fond of. Also, as Geen was my contact guy, I seemed to be contacted by this fence guy on a nearly daily basis. I was as polite as could be until his POS van (not a Peak company van) broke down in my drive way blocking my wife and I out and in respectively. I asked him to move it and he refused when he easily could have pushed the hunk of junk 50 feet down hill to the stree. It sat there for nearly two days. Luckily we could just get our cars in and out as we are literally fenced in along our driveway. It was tight and until he moved it we opted to park in the front of the house. Finally I had enough of this guy after about the 30th call at which point I called Geen and made it clear I wasn't talking to his fence guy again. Problem solved! Until I'm being told by Geen that I owe another chunk of money that I wasn't aware of. I've literally never been through this process or anything like it and Geen promised he'd keep me apprised of everything. This usually ended with him calling me telling me I needed to pay more money instead of walking me through the process. No doubt I should have been keeping track myself, but Geen made a promise and for some stupid reason I thought he'd keep it. Fast forward to the last week of work (now months into the process). I pay a final sizable check to Peak (all insurance money that I've placed into my account for this occasion). I'm called two days later by Geen who tells me they lost the check. I cut him another check. Two days later both checks are cashed and I'm now out 5 figures being hit for twice the amount needed. I wasn't happy to say the least and let Geen know I needed to talk to his boss immediately. In short, Geen made a mistake and while it was a stupid mistake he owned up to and wanted to make it right. What pissed me off is that his boss deemed it unnecessary to call me back for three days as he was on a family trip. I'm friends with contractors and roofers (who I should have gone with instead of Peak) and they are taking calls at all times in all locations. This guy just didn't want to talk to me while I was upset and couldn't wait to get off the phone with me once I had his ear. In all I won't ever be using Peak again and I've told many of my neighbors and friends to avoid them after the newest batch of hail storms. I debated writing a review for a long time. Ultimately as I drive around seeing new roofs going up on people's houses and knowing how much of a pain it can be, I've opted to tell my story here. I hated the entire process with Peak from start to finish. My fence looks like crap even though the fence guy promised me it would look nearly new when he was done. The roof looks good, but it looks like any other roof in the area meaning everyone does a fine job. Do yourself a favor and find another company. They might not be any better but at least you don't have to field calls from a clueless fence guy who won't leave you alone. I'm sure I'm now on a short list to be contacted by Peak Roofing and Geen. One of my gutters overflowed during a recent downpour. I contacted Peak Roofing the next day. They were able to get someone out right away (Tony) to take a look at my gutter and downspout. He cleaned my gutter and downspout and also re-attached the downspout where it had come loose from the house. I've been dealing with a leak in my roof for 4 years. I've had numerous people come out to look and they have all made suggestions and charged me for repairs that didn't solve the problem. Jared with Peak Roofing came out today and took the time to actually water test a few areas and identified exactly where the leak was occurring.
