We had a leak after having our roof recently replaced, but that other company "went out of business," or more likely, "scammed" us and our insurance agency so that their 20 year warranty wouldn't have to be utilized. After that terrible experience, I was very hesitate to trust another company, so I went to yelp to find a company with high reviews and came upon Texas Platinum Construction. I requested a quote late at night, and within minutes I received a call. Right then I decided that these guys cared enough that they answered the request at 10 pm on a weekend. I'm so glad we did! Our roof turned out beautifully, and he was always looking for deals from his suppliers. One of the shingle colors happened to be getting discontinued, so he called us and said that we could upgrade our roof for no extra cost if we decided to change the color of the lesser roof we'd settled on and go with the color of the shingles being discontinued. Our roof is now one of the most beautiful on the block with gorgeous 3-D shingles and 3-D ridge caps. He even offered to mow our lawn as we were a few days behind and with all the rain, well, it was pretty tall when he came to visit and he recognized that we work long days and hadn't had a moment to get to it. With the recent hailstorms in the area, my roof was damaged. Being the first time home owner and not knowing what all is involved in roof replacements I had gone through multiple roofing companies reviews and talked to few friends. Some of them had horrible experiences in past which was scary. They did an excellent job and I'd highly recommend them. I had quotes from 5 companies, two of which I probably would have been happy with, but TXPC ended up being just a bit more competitively priced and seemed to want the business a bit more than others by the way that they communicated. They were prompt, polite, and took to heart what I was looking for: No surprises and the best possible price for out-of-pocket replacement. Neeman worked with me on quoting, scheduling, and patiently answered all my questions about materials, warranties, and overall process. I made a late decision to change the work to install ridge vents (replacing the turbines), and he promptly gave a reasonable cost and fixed the quote. As I was remote during the work, he sent me pictures throughout the process including before, during, and after. He also promptly told me about some issues with some other people "adjacent" to the job which he had expertly handled or defused. In the middle of the job they found some damaged siding, sent me a pictures, and gave me a reasonable replacement cost. There was even a minor issue with the inspection from the city, which might have been pre-existing before TXPC did the job. Top notch job! Recently purchased a home built in 2010. Had a roofer come out and inspect the roof prior to purchase and was told the roof was in great condition. After about two months of being in the home, we had a bad storm and the roof leaked causing damage to the interior of my home. A colleague of mine suggested that I reach out to Neeman as he recently used TX Platinum for his roof replacement and other work around his home. Engaged TXPC after the hail storms damaged our roof. They did a thorough inspection and found some things the insurance adjusters missed. They were able to repair the roof fairly quickly given we were in the middle of all of the thousands of roofing repairs occurring during that massive hail season. They completed all repairs with high quality materials and repaired the roof to a state better than the original by using newer roofing techniques and materials. They fixed any minor issues during the post completion inspection and we have had no leaks since the repairs. Once started, they completed repairs in less than 2 weeks, which is very fast given the roof size on the house. They also fixed a couple of things as a courtesy, like plugging a mortar issue on the chimney and making sure the paint matched on all of the vents and turbines. We discovered a leak in our son's room only a couple years after having our roof replaced with something that was supposed to be superior to what we had. 5 STARS are not enough. Rarely do you encounter someone like Neeman. He spent over an hour with me and he managed to add to what I already knew about my slightly damaged roof. Two other highly rated roofing companies did a nice job talking but could not find the time to deal with my small repair job after this year's bad hail storm and tornado in Collin Count and north Dallas. He droned my roof in 4K and determined there was no significant damage. He then replaced one damaged tile that happened from an adjuster stepping on it and did not charge me. We were really happy with the whole experience working with Neeman and TX Platinum. We only had a minor gutter repair, but Neeman responded within minutes to my Yelp quote request and was out here the next day to take a look. Within 48 hours we had a new 22-foot section of gutter in place. Neeman also made sure the roof around the gutter repair was in good shape and confirmed no additional work was necessary. I called very early on a weekend morning about potential water leakage during a storm. Tx Platinum came out and used a drone to fly over the house to get a clear picture of the entire roof over that area. He didn't recommend any immediate action (wind issue), but he agreed to caulk the areas around the external vents as a preventative measure. How refreshing to have someone answer in a timely manner, communicate clearly, have technology so we can see what he's seeing, and agree to go above-and-beyond for a preventative fix.
