Have you ever wanted to overpay for an inexistent reservation? Acme Suites is your best bet!…read more We booked a condo for $600, but when we checked our credit card, they billed us for $840, an unexpected hike of $240. Since they will not pick up the phone nor answer your emails, rest assured you will not have a chance to dispute the charges! Since they already billed us, we decided to make the 6h drive from San Francisco to Oregon, hoping they will honor the $840 they overcharged us and have the place available for us when we arrive that night. On the day of the drive, we checked our bank account to realize that they refunded the $840, with no notification of the refund whatsoever. At this point, we were already 5h into our 6h drive to Oregon. Living in San Francisco, I've always wanted to experience unexpected homelessness. Acme Suites gave the opportunity for us to do so. Thank you for the thrill!

We have stayed in the Acme suites for the past several months and it's been more comfortable,…read moreaffordable and convenient than we had hoped or expected. Very quiet, easy parking and a gym with an excellent personal trainer in the downstairs. Claudia, the Property Manager, has been incredibly helpful and responsive on those very few occasions we needed her help. She's as pleasant and easy to work with as any property manager we have met and has always been available to help. The suites themselves are all different, and they are very reminiscent of Soho lofts. Fully furnished and easy walking to restaurants and bars such as Jefferson Spirits and Porters. And a very easy walk to the Growers Market on Thursday's at Hawthorne Park. We have rented other suites as friends and family have visited. The location makes it very convenient and easy to get to Ashland, Jacksonville or Grants Pass. Also, quite central to the great vineyards in the surrounding Rogue And Applegate Valleys. When we first started staying in Medford we rented a suite at the Marriott, but soon moved to Acme. More space at Acme, better value and right in Downtown Medford. We are leaving Medford in a couple of weeks, but we'll be back regularly over the next year or so. Definitely planning to stay at Acme every time it's available. K

I love this farmers market which is officially known as Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market,…read morebut we just say Growers Market. In the spring there are many garden plants to buy. Your favorite farm to buy vegetable from is also the place to get locally started and hardened plants if you're a gardener. Many stands start off the year with homemade baked goods. There are food trucks available with breakfast and lunch items. My favorite truck is the grilled cheese sandwich and soup truck. There is always an assortment of things grown or made in the Rogue Valley. Over the years I've seen cat trees, scarves, gazebos, soap, emu and ostrich products local honey, eggs, and jerky products and occasionally guitar players. It's not long before there are vegetables, fruit and berries to buy - cucumbers; slicing and pickling, parsley, summer squash, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, corn, black berries, cherries and many things that are slipping my mind at the moment. When you're done shopping, Hawthorne Park is a nice place to eat what you purchased or let the kids cool off at the water playground. There are two dog parks so that big and small dogs can socialize. There is something for almost everyone. The pictures I'm sharing are of plants that were purchased from the growers market.

No problem I'll just ask one of the staff for help. However the one guy that works in this area was on a lengthy conversation phone call with district manager. I listen to him talk for over five minutes about moving product and how some things were selling slow. So I stood off to the side obviously waiting for him to get off the phone. After a while I got tired of waiting so I go to the deli and ask them if they can please call somebody to come to aisle 15 and help me out. And then I stood at the end of the aisle and waited. After waiting another five minutes nobody showed up. So I go walking back to the guy on the phone and he gets off the phone, turns and walks to the back. I would have gone to another store but I was on a time crunch even more now. I got a simple wrench set and didn't get the other gear I wanted. if people at Ace wonder why this location is slow selling, for starters it's because the customer service is lousy. Looking at timestamps of text messages whileI was in the store, I have waited over 25 minutes just trying to get a simple wrench set because there's nobody available to help get the thing that I need. I should never have come here to get hardware and should have gone to another place instead where they have dedicated staff they can help you out instead of one guy in a grocery store.
