Frankly, most of the other places seem to be dirty and smell weird and staffed by crabby folks. Washing the dog is never a really pleasant experience but this place made it very easy and painless. However, after our second night with the dog, we acknowledged we couldn't wait that long. Mike spent his Sunday making it possible for us to immediately bring her to the county facility. The adoption fees are very reasonable (1/2 the fee of the humane society in Medford). The animals all looked taken care of. The volunteers are knowledgeable about each of the personalities; very helpful when looking for the best fit for you/the family. I was pleasantly surprised that our 9 weeks puppy had the majority of vaccines taken care of up to 4-6months. A vet visit is included as well as: 30 days pet insurance, dog training session (in your home or at the park) and an item from the basket (toys, leash, blanket, accessories, etc). We brought our two dogs in for a bath and brush with furminator. We have brought them to other…read morePetSmart locations and have never had any issues, the staff and experiences were great. We were 10 minutes early and were told to walk around the store until our groomer arrived for work. Once our groomer arrived we checked in our first dog, had to walk our other dog out so they could bring the first one back and then we were able to bring our other dog in to get checked in. We have never had to separate them when checking in and they have always gone back together. I had expressed when checking them both in I wanted their pads trimmed and their glands expressed(which is apart of the service regardless). It took them the full 3 hours to groom them so I was expecting the full treatment. When we picked them up the dogs were so full of anxiety, something I have never seen from them when leaving the groomer. When we got them home I noticed their pads were not trimmed. In the days to follow it was evident that their glands had not been expressed and their ears were not cleaned(I cleaned their ears myself and they were in need of it). I'm not sure if this a low staffing issue or I got the wrong staff but we will not be bringing them back to the Medford location.

We moved back in May of 2021 and have again been doing business through them since. Today, we went in to look at some ball pythons since my fiancée has wanted one for years. We were helped by an amazing guy named Konrad. The amount of information we received was staggering (in a great way!), and so much more beneficial than checking forums online for different answers on questions we had not only on ball pythons, but for my snake as well. Konrad has been working with Primeval Pets for years, and many of the snakes there are ones he bred himself. The amount of knowledge and passion for these animals was not only comforting, but exciting as well!
