Pretty nice place. Came in to do the self-wash on our dog and was greeted by the owner, who was friendly and very helpful. The wash stations were very clean with good water pressure and temperature, and the shampoos and conditioner worked really well. Our dog is super clean now. I've tried a couple of the other self-wash places around here and this is definitely the best one so far. Frankly, most of the other places seem to be dirty and smell weird and staffed by crabby folks. Washing the dog is never a really pleasant experience but this place made it very easy and painless. Bugsy has been bathing his girl, Bella, at Celebrity Pets for years...and it is truly a great place. Always clean, always friendly, the total experience of this place is excellent. I actually look forward to visiting (not sure about my dog...but I think she likes it too :). The owners (both the original and now the new owners), are true lovers of animals, and they are consistently willing to help you and show a great deal of attention to your animal, be it tips on healthcare, or a good ol' rub down to help relax them for their visit. Lots of dog treats flowing in this place too! I can't say enough about these folks, and I have no issues driving from Ashland to White City just for a visit. They provide: Nice quality shampoo, excellent tub and drying facility, emu oil conditioner, great people, nice products for sales, the list goes on.... Happy bathing! read more

Good: she was able to accommodate our 2 dogs for grooming at the last minute. Bad: 1) she charged more than what she confirmed on call. 2) our dog is big in size and I am pretty sure she's had never handled a big dog, he had a choker chain on him when we reached. 3) He was hurt in the leg and had blood clot there. 4) she was short staffed so took more time than promised, on top of that she says she had to stay back ( felt like ones of the reasons to charge me more) well that was not my fault. 5) no place I know charges $5 for card payment, this one does. 6) Both dogs always loved their spa day at PetSmart, hatred this one.. were very restless. I wouldn't recommend the grooming to anybody else. No comments about the delay self wash. read more

Excellent grooming work done at a very good price. The staff is very experienced and friendly. The training classes are hands-on, with a professional handler/trainer, and well worth the time you put into it. And the classes are very inexpensive! These people are great with dogs & people! read more

I'd probably give this 5 stars, but I've only been once and I'm a tough sell. :) I'll update in the future if Celebrity Pets continues to impress. I had a dog for years that was terrified of the water so I always took her in to a groomer for her own peace as well as mine. Our most recent dog, we've had for a year, and at 52 pounds, to try to get him in the tub is simply cumbersome, so I continued to take him in as well. I drive by Celebrity Pets all of the time and finally decided to stop by and check them out. They were wonderful and VERY friendly, taking the time to explain the pricing system, the shampoos and options, and show me around. The following weekend, we came back with our dog. Somehow, the lady remembered my name! She got us all set up and we cleaned and dried the dog, then for an additional $5, she did the nails for us. I also need to add that my dog almost immediately peed on the counter and although I was horrified, she simply laughed it off and cleaned it up for me. Anyways, there is shampoo out, emu oil and I think a conditioner. I'm pretty conservative and the shampoo was watered down, so I was paranoid about using too much. As I dried my dog, I watched several others come in and wash their dog and paid attention to how the washing works. The shampoo is watered down, but I think they kind of expect you to use the whole bottle if you need to, so being paranoid is not necessary. As soon as you are done with your dog (or dogs), they come and swoop up all three bottles (shampoo, conditioner, and oil), take it to a cupboard, drop it in a bin, and replace them with new, full bottles. They don't even bat an eye at how much product you do or don't use. They also have a shelf full of various products ranging from ear cleaner to brushes and finishing sprays. Very friendly, very helpful, very knowledgable. Their customer base is obviously important to them. All in all, I paid $14 to bathe and dry my 52 pound dog, use their products, their towels, plus another $5 for his nails (the 8th bath is free!). I left a tub full of hair and dirty towels and walked away leaving that for them to clean up. Being that I normally pay $35 for the groomer, this is a heck of a deal for me and a fun bonding experience for my preteen son and I. We'll be back, probably sooner rather than later. read more

My dog & I love this place. Friendly staff, especially the owner, Maryann. The reason I gave it 4 stars & not 5 is that they are frequently out of items in their little pet supply store & when you purchase things the transaction can take quite a while. But if you're looking for a great place to wash your dog, I highly reccomend it. LOVE the Emu Oil shampoos & Maryann knows her stuff when it comes to holistic approaches to health & diet for your dog. If I ever have questions about my dog's food allergy issues, she's 1 of the experts I ask. They are also a great resource for all kinds of dog training. Also, I've used their grooming services a few times & they do an amazing job plus the grooming prices are really reasonable. read more

Took my little maltipoo into this week and when I got home I realized that her stomach has a whole line of long hairs that where missed, as well as a bunch throughout her body. They even called me to come pick her up after I had already picked her up...obviously they don't know who's dogs who's...won't go back and won't recommend my friends to either. read more

I've used them in the past,great experience,however it is new owners and this exerience was terrible. The gal who I spoke to was a know-it-all and a bit rude.I told her I wanted a puppy cut which is what my dog has had his entire life.She says "there is no such thing".Ok then I want a short cut he is ashih tzu.She had her dogs there running loose,pitbull type mix.I was very uncomfortable with that.She has a girl call me a home and say he has lots and lots of fleas, $5 more.Well, he didn't have fleas when he got there and my other dogs don't have fleas so that is BS,I paid the extra $5 and then the worst, she shaved my dog.Yes shaved him. He couldn't even go in the sun for a week. I WILL NOT be back.Ever. read more

What a great find! Marie makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter, and is extremely helpful and sweet. Carol, the groomer, does an exceptional job with the dogs and really cares about your pet. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Whether you use the self wash stations, or have your dog groomed by the groomer, you'll be very pleased with the service. Wonderful Place!! read more

The self wash is ok if you like to be left alone for the most part. It is now under new management and it not the same.
