I purchased a 'drop spreader' for fertilizing my lawn. They had none in stock so I ordered and waited until one was delivered to the store. When I was informed that it was available for pickup at Customer Service the clerk was unable to find the location of the item. I proceeded to sit back and wait patiently while she looked for the item. About 45 minutes later she finally came back to tell me that she hadn't found it yet! I was appalled that she didn't come back earlier to tell me that the wait would be this long! Eventually she found the item, 'in a place where it wasn't supposed to be' she said.... This happened at about 5 PM yesterday and I observed that customer service was practically abandoned at that time with only one lady who continued to talk on the phone looking away from me 'cuz she knew I'd be an upset customer if she acknowledged me. VERY POOR handling of my situation.. I think I'll try Home Depot next time. Perhaps they'll be better.... read more

Installers didn't seem to be very experienced. Since they came from Portland and had to drive 4-5 hours to get here they seemed to want to do a half assed job and get back home. My contractor wouldn't let them hack up the job. Pretty countertops but there would have been 1/2" or more space between the countertops and the cabinets if the installers had done it their way. But on the positive side they did allow my contractor time to put spacers down and the installers did not break any of the tile backsplash. read more

After shopping around, I decided to go ahead and purchase a washer and dryer from them to be delivered a couple of weeks from the purchase. I was told I would get a call the day before. No one called. On the day of, the automated system tells me my delivery is still coming, between 8 am and 8 PM. So, I call the store multiple times- no live person, only AI. Then, I call the 800 number who confirms the delivery is coming. After this, a man with Lowe's calls me to say someone made a mistake and my delivery isn't coming that day at all and it has to come Friday instead. First of all, I took off work to wait for this delivery. Not ok. He was not concerned in the slightest, made no effort to get this delivered as promised on that day. I ended up calling the 800 number again and canceling the whole order. I could have easily went to Home Depot in the first place, and that's exactly what ended up happening. Came in to buy some blinds for our sliding glass door and met LIZ she was very attentive to our needs and answered all our question and took them home but they did not look right so took pictures and came back to Liz and they were defective, bless her for taking the frustration out of us and we brought them back and again her customer service was superb a genuine person who cares and we give her 10 Stars. We purchased counter tops. The counter tops came damaged and when installing them, they also scratched my refrigerator. When I called for support (I purchased through Lowe's), Lowes wouldn't help me (even though they had contracted the work out) and told me to call Flo Form (from Portland), who had installed them. They sent two young men, neither speaking English well enough for me to understand them. The repairs were not good. I would advise you to find someone local if you need new counter tops. read more

Sadly the worst Lowe's I have ever been too. When you travel over 2 hrs to shop the spring sale eager to purchase my perennials and annuals I was heart broken with the condition of all the plants. I honestly wanted to cry for the lack of care so many beautiful plants screaming for help. So much staff carelessly passing by without a care in the world. Although the in-store designer was great, my very expensive kitchen cabinets (made by Diamond) are of extremely poor quality (made with a staple gun that causes the wood to splinter), and the installation company they use, Belbuilt Cabinets are HORRIBLE. Belbuilt (Lowe's ONLY contractor in my area) have damaged my home (walls and flooring) and denied doing so, even though I have photos of the damage. Lowe's "customer service" call me every week, sometimes multiple times per week. They ask the same questions over and over again until they make me upset. Belbuilt Cabinets have denied the damage to my home and Lowe's has now offered me a fraction of what I have to pay the electrician for moving outlets (that didn't need to be moved if the cabinets had been correctly installed in the first place), in the form of a "gift card." I don't want a gift card from Lowe's and certainly not when I still have to pay the electrician or face a construction lien against my property! This doesn't even take into account that my kitchen has remained unfinished for almost a year while this has been going on! Lowe's has sided with their scam contractor over their customer, in spite of TONS of photos I've sent them showing the shoddy workmanship, sloppy installation, and damage to my home. Here's the deal. Another corporate store that hires anybody that will show up at this point. In my 2 consecutive dealing with curbside is that there is NO ONE to man the desk. You don't know what to do, you put your # and the timer goes all the way through and the. Just resets. If you stand there and wait, you will not be helped. If you have an order to pick up. Have it delivered for free. I've been through the same thing twice at this store. Number one I leave my dog in the truck, she is a puppy and will want to greet everyone she sees. Sometimes times restricts me. Well there isn't anyone in the curbside receptacle. Both times. Both times I've went to ask for help, they send me to another worker. Then that worker sends me to another, each saying they don't know how to do it. Well I've got ptsd. There are times I do this cause I don't want to be in the store for long. Curbside takes twice as long as me filling the order myself twice. I get frustrated, and these people don't do nothing to improve the situation. 8 workers and only Wyatt actually was willing to do the work. So if being handed off from person to person isn't your best idea to waste 45 minutes. Just get the stuff yourself. Brave the public. read more

I had to pick up an order for delivery, and there was a snafu. It was fixed quickly. But it was an avoidable error on the store's part. Double check your order numbers by writing them on paper. I bought a new Honda self-propelled lawnmower and after using it a few times experienced hard warm restarts. The engine seems to siphon raw gas out of the air-cleaner and down to the ground UNLESS I turn off the fuel when emptying the bag. I have called and been sent to a cashier who could not help of course and now here I sit , broken hearted and I definitely would not recommend this Lowes to ANYONE! This is a horrible environment regarding masks. First of all, some of the employees were wearing a mask below the nose. Not helpful. And Lowe's obviously doesn't enforce the state mandate of wearing masks since there were way too many customers not wearing any. My second home, really. I very much have a love hate relationship with the store. I love that they have everything, i hate that there's so much it makes things hard to find. I love that there's employees who know certain departments very well, but I hate having to find any employee... They're so sparse! I feel like I walk 1/2 the store before finding someone, only to find out they don't know that department but can "page" someone for me... Then I wait, and wait and... You guessed it. Wait some more. I love that they have self checkout, but hate that they normally only have one or two non SCO lanes open. I love that they have myLowes which saves my receipts, purchases, etc... But hate that I always have to ask the cashier to put myLowes info in. Overall, a decent go to spot with so many products. Guess I just wish they were more staffed and knowledgable like they use to be when it was Eagle. We ordered and paid cash ($790.00) for a dishwasher from Lowes on June 16th and were told it would be delivered by the 26th. A week later we received a call were told it was back ordered and would arrive on July 5th The 5th came and went with no contact from Lowe's. We called on or about July 8th and were told it was in a warehouse somewhere and would be shipped within the week. We called on July 12th and again were told it was being shipped but no arrival date to our house could be given. So I walk into Lowe's looking for a gift for my man and immediately as I walk in there is a sweet set of craftsman toolboxes on display. It wasn't obvious how to purchase this large item, no like tag to take to a register or instructions so I ask an employee who is walking by. He says he is with a customer but just take a picture of the tag and show any cashier and they will bring it up from the back, in boxes, and load it up for me. Sounds great I walk up to a cashier and say I'd like to buy some toolboxes and here's a picture of the tags. She looks at me like I spoke another language. She says " what am I supposed to do with that?" I told her I have never bought anything like this here, I don't know the process, but another employee told me to show you this and you would figure it out. She huffed and puffed and looked all around like she didn't know what the first thing to do is. I must have been the very first person to ever buy something like this, from her. I am very patient at this point, that will change. So she rings me up, doesn't ask me for any loyalty card or anything although I spent $450 and leaves her register to use a phone to call someone. Her tone on the phone is utter confusion and uncertainty. She tells me it'll be a few minutes. I ended up waiting 50 minutes before those toolboxes showed up. Nearly an hour! Was it busy ? No. Was I the literal first person to ever buy toolboxes at Medford Lowe's? Suuuuuuuuure felt like it. The cashier sent multiple people back to check during my waiting. All came back with "yeah he's working on it". Turns out someone took the toolboxes to the customer service desk, instead of to me. I have no idea how long that they sat there, but what a freaking joke of a afternoon. I will go to Home Depot next time I need anything. read more

The store is fine, but the employees are not. They have way too many who do nothing. We walked up to the customer service counter to find 6 of them standing in a circle talking. None of them helped us. Finally, a woman came up and helped us. She sent a "runner" to the back to get our freezer, who took over a half an hour. WHAT?! The kid literally moved slower than a sloth. He wasn't friendly and obviously could care less about quick and efficient customer service. Whoa. Thank you to "CHRIS O" the Assistant Manager at Lowe's. I can't say enough about him . He goes out of his way to make sure things are taken care of. He went above and beyond with his customer service. Even when an outside company was involved . He followed through when they tried to drop the ball. You can teach a manager skills . But you can't teach them to be kind, have character and care about their store/people. And to take time out of their day / lunch to make sure things are made right like Chris did , even for us an out of town customer. That's who he is. Yet another bad review of this store to add to the many. Placed an order for curbside pickup the night before I wanted to receive my items. The next day came and went and still no email that my items are ready. The location was open for 16 hours. 6am to 10pm. I have a hard time believing that so many people went through the curbside pickup, that no one could find the time to get my order ready in those 16 hours. I ordered two things. I thought the whole point of curbside was to receive the items the day you placed the order. If I wanted to wait 2-3 days, I would have just bought it in person or had it shipped. Every other curbside pickup at other stores I've done during covid has been ready in a few hours max. Disappointing not to have my items going into my 3rd day. read more

Today I went in to return something at costumer service, (long line) and I wittiness the most cheerful, helpful and kind cashier. She answered phones ringing off the hook, and took care of the line of returns better than I've ever seen anyone, ever, and was legitimately happy to do so. Her name was Jazmine, and she deserves a raise. PS: My other times shopping at this Loews this month have been successful, and everyone I spoke to was helpful. Well, after six weeks, our Trex Deck is in! It was a very painful process, one that I would never do again! We are still waiting on our warranty for it, from the Lowe's Manager in the Medford store. She keeps promising us that she will email it to us by the end of the day, but of course, we still do not have it. We will never set foot again in a Lowe's store. Our subcontractor is using pictures of our deck, to sell his services, (mind you he has a broken back). He did not ask our permission to do so, I believe this is illegal.
