Wow, I'm amazed with how much I loved my first time here. Grand Nails Spa is extremely large and kept very clean. They expanded the space about a year ago and I can understand why. On a Monday afternoon the place was extremely busy. Almost every station was filled. They take appointments and walk ins. Pricing is a little higher in comparison to other nail salons, IMO though it's worth it. I got a French dip manicure by Liz and a green tea pedicure by Jenny. Both services were relaxing and the ladies did a great job. I didn't love how I had both done at the same time, however, they asked me before hand if that was OK. Going forward I'll probably try and get them separate so I can enjoy each service on its own. This was my first time getting a dip manicure and I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. I was getting no chip manis for 15+ years, but as a mom with a newborn... I need something that's stronger and NOT going to chip or scratch my baby. I am a loyal customer after many visits. (6 years) Their place is clean and organized. The employees are friendly and skilled. HGTV is always available to watch while you wait or have your nails done. I am very hard on my nails and their no chip lasts me a minimum 2-3 weeks, and pedicure 4-6 weeks, which is long for me! I've "cheated" on this place twice and the mani/pedi has lasted only a few days and the experience at the other two places were lackluster compared to Grand Nail. I do not like to report bad experiences, but this one experience was a waste of time and good money. I received a basic French tip manicure and a $50 pedicure late in the evening before closing on Thursday 7/3/25. I was there 2 hours, as some polish may have been applied too heavily to dry normally, requiring 2 toenail redos before leaving, and extra dry time. This job was done toenails before fingernails. Two days later, the fingernail polish started coming off in whole sheets. By the fourth day after, there was hardly any polish left on any fingernails. I reported the problem by the 5th day,. The manager, Ann, reported that a basic manicure is only guaranteed for 3 days. Well, I wish the lackadaisical, TV-watching technician had mentioned this caveat prior to my service, and I would've left and gone somewhere else, which I'm about to do right now. My suggestion is especially if you're new here, ask plenty of questions prior to service because this place really does not care to hear about YOUR problems. You may receive poor service, poor-quality products, poor customer support, and a tech who hates her job. That's what I got. This experience was an epic fail. read more

I never had a problem previously with this place but it was my first time taking off a acrylic set of nails. Instead of taking time to take off my acrylics, she tried to pop them off with white plastic nail (at least that's what I think it was). She ripped my nail off and then proceeded TO TRY THE SAME TECHNIQUE ON MY OTHER NAILS. Then she blamed it on me. I then asked her to soak nails in acetone to make the processes easier and after that there was no problems with the other nails. Many friends are regulars here and have never had a nail ripped off for a acrylic set removal. I asked to put a clear coat on the nail part (the part without the bleeding obviously) and she sloppy cover my whole finger in clear coat of nail polish while hitting the cut. She then put alcohol on that nail which obviously burned. I payed full and still tipped 20%. I didn't complain to anyone but I am super unhappy. My nails were still surprisingly long and healthy after my first set of acrylics but I forced to cut them all short to make them look normal compared to the ripped nail. read more

I came in last week to get a manicure pedicure for my wedding. I was blown away by how clean and organized it was. The gentleman who did my nails (in wedding chaos I forgot his name!) was awesome and took his time and gave me the best nails of my life. I got so many complements and they still look amazing! I'm honestly shocked at the bad reviews.. I've been there multiple times for acrylic, dip, no chip and pedicures and never had an issue. They are crazy busy on the weekends so definitely make an appointment! Or you will be waiting a long time. I feel like some of the comments about the employees being "rude" is just cause they are busy and working hard most of them work 8-6 6-7x days a week. Not an excuse to be rude but I've worked in the service industry I get it. The manager has always addressed my concerns I never have had an issue with that as some people said. The only bad experience I had was a new guy was practicing doing dip with tip extensions and so two of my nails broke 3 days after getting them done but I came back in and the manager fixed them for free! Honestly the best Nail salon I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot! Timothy, Kristen, Steven, and several others. Amazing. They are educational, knowledgeable, personable, and have amazing customer service. I felt like a true VIP the moment I walked in the door. I'm obsessed with my nails after- the work was amazing. They are artists! My hands felt amazing. Same with my pedicure. I hosted a bridal party there before my wedding and it was so much fun. Even the days just by myself, I'm relaxed and entertained by conversation. I live out of state but literally counting down the days till I'm back for my nails by Timothy. I got recommended to Julie-- I sat down and said hi and she just looked at me and said nothing. I got an acrylic full set and like my nails a certain way and asked for them to be thicker and her response was "you came to the wrong person because I like only like thin". Who says that to a paying customer??? I let her finish and she only used ONE DRILL on me and if you get your nails done regularly you know they're suppose to use 3 drills before painting them. The tops of my nails looked so bad she continued to buff them harder than Ive ever had them buffed, but still looks terrible. She had to superglue one of my nails because she ripped them too far. My nails are extremely weak and flimsy now. $12 dollars to ruin my nails when I could've done a soak off myself at home. Just like the previous salon, it is very clean and they are still friendly. Walk-ins are welcome, but they also take appointments. Grand Nails also does waxing. On a busy day, you may wait 15 minutes, but IMO it's worth it. They accept credit cards, but don't offer tip options on credit card transactions. Bring cash.
