My last visit was the worst. I asked for no polish and was told the price would be reduced, but they still charged full price and denied ever saying it. I paid **$86.00**, including a small tip, even though the work was rushed, and the gel still looked rough. There's always a different technician who can't communicate clearly, which makes it even more frustrating. I won't be returning. And he said not to touch my hair. I pulled my hand up to see the nails and he not pull up my hand as the polish will start running. What?!?! I've never had this kind of poor experience before. I had French manicure with a coat of sparkles.....he never asked what kind of sparkles I wanted, just applied whatever was on his table. Then charged me $15 extra for "the design". My granddaughter had dip with different nail colors, and he charged I think $25 extra for her. A total of $168 for 2 rude manicures. When we walked out I asked my granddaughter casually how she liked it, and her reply was they're very condescending and she didn't feel like even asking them for a free drink. The free drink is definitely not worth the amount we paid and the worst service we ever received. Never going back and will advise all my friends and family to avoid this place. They should be reported to BBB for their disdainful attitudes and rip off charges. Classy is way too unclassy.

I've been to many nail salons in the area over the years and this salon is by far the best one!! It's definitely not your "typical" nail salon. They have close to 20 nail techs doing nails, and then at least 10 more nail techs doing pedi's. They offer different types of FREE soda pop, and wine!!! You can even BYOB!! The staff there are very professional and they know what they're doing. If you like your nails dipped, then this is the place to go!! Their prices are reasonable too for what they offer!! I come here every 2 weeks and get my nails done by liz. She does an amazing job each time and is truly talented especially when it comes to dip powder manicures (which she turned me on to) she's super knowledgeable and clearly loves doing nails and it shows. Also this nail spa in itself is beautiful, super clean and reasonably priced compared to the other salons in the area. I've seen two different nail techs, Ruby and Nancy, both of whom were extremely friendly and professional. I get the dip manicure and they have a very wide selection of colors. The integrity of the dip powder is phenomenal; I had to wait 3 weeks before coming back in and nothing became dull and not a single nail broke. My nails always turn out exactly how I ask for them and the way they shape make my nails look so natural. I definitely recommend making an appointment, they get very busy every day of the week. read more

This nail salon is great! It has a great location and it is very big so there's hardly ever a wait. They take car of you right away and if there is a wait, someone will tell you and make sure you're okay with waiting. Olivia did my nails and i absolutely love them. I told her to do whatever she wanted and she did every nail differently. This salon is the only salon I've gotten the dip manicure and they do an amazing job every time! Grand Nails Spa makes my soul happy- it's super clean, you can get dip nails which last for weeks and everyone asks me where I get my nails done because it's perfect!!! If you are getting a dip manicure, this is the only spot in the Chicagoland area you should even consider. I drive all the way out to the suburbs for a mani here once a month because the service is so great! This is by far the most hygienic nail salon I have ever been to. They opened all the tools from a sterilized package. The nail file and buffer were one time use, also opened in front of me. The foot basins have a plastic disposable liner. 18 pedicure chairs. I was seated as soon as I arrived. My mani and pedi look great! Highly recommend! read more

I was seated at a pedicure chair right away and given a choice of colors for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did ask to ensure that they would not use the electric sander on my nails. I was quite pleased to find that they never use that for gel nails, a policy that I wish more salons would adopt. There were only two customers when I arrived, but people began to shuffle in during the time I was there. The pedicure was fine. I appreciate that they did not try to upsell me, but I do think it would have been nice to have more services such as a bit more of a massage or some more scrubs. It was quite basic and I wasn't offered other options. I was then moved to the manicure table after the pedicure was complete. Like the pedicure, it went by quite quickly. Not that it is necessary, but the staff really made no attempt to have a conversation at all. I'm OK with it, but they could have come across a little friendlier. No one was rude at all, but it just wasn't the warmest environment. As far as the manicure, I liked the color, but the gel dried unevenly with a few bumps here and there which annoyed me. Also it just wasn't quite the length or shape that I requested. All in all, I was glad that they were able to get me in and it was a decent service at a reasonable price. However, I do feel that the services were quite basic and it wasn't the best looking manicure that I've had.
