I do not like to report bad experiences, but this one experience was a waste of time and good money. I received a basic French tip manicure and a $50 pedicure late in the evening before closing on Thursday 7/3/25. I was there 2 hours, as some polish may have been applied too heavily to dry normally, requiring 2 toenail redos before leaving, and extra dry time. This job was done toenails before fingernails. Two days later, the fingernail polish started coming off in whole sheets. By the fourth day after, there was hardly any polish left on any fingernails. I reported the problem by the 5th day,. The manager, Ann, reported that a basic manicure is only guaranteed for 3 days. Well, I wish the lackadaisical, TV-watching technician had mentioned this caveat prior to my service, and I would've left and gone somewhere else, which I'm about to do right now. My suggestion is especially if you're new here, ask plenty of questions prior to service because this place really does not care to hear about YOUR problems. You may receive poor service, poor-quality products, poor customer support, and a tech who hates her job. That's what I got. This experience was an epic fail.

My last pedicure is chipping after 6 days and of course I'm on vacation and cannot go back to ask them to fix it. They are overpriced for the quality of people they have working there. I have had especially bad experiences with all of the younger men that do manicures. They are very rough with you and rushed.

This place is my go to. They know why they are doing here and do amazing ombre dip manis! This time I pushed Stephen out of his comfort zone with a Pinterest inspo pic and he just nailed it! We couldn't find the right orange and he asked a manger and the recommendation was fire! They work together to get the best results and know what works.

Allowed me to leave for a wedding with middle finger chipped and filed down. Nail polish painted unevenly.

3 separate experiences and unfortunately my favorite girl left. Will only get a pedicure going forward. Price is good.

I was in severe pain after getting a pedicure here. I thought it was just because he cut so far into the sides of my toenails, but when i took the no chip off, that is what my big toe nail looked like... wouldn't recommend going here. Definitely gonna lose my entire nail

I never had a problem previously with this place but it was my first time taking off a acrylic set of nails. Instead of taking time to take off my acrylics, she tried to pop them off with white plastic nail (at least that's what I think it was). She ripped my nail off and then proceeded TO TRY THE SAME TECHNIQUE ON MY OTHER NAILS. Then she blamed it on me. I then asked her to soak nails in acetone to make the processes easier and after that there was no problems with the other nails. Many friends are regulars here and have never had a nail ripped off for a acrylic set removal. I asked to put a clear coat on the nail part (the part without the bleeding obviously) and she sloppy cover my whole finger in clear coat of nail polish while hitting the cut. She then put alcohol on that nail which obviously burned. I payed full and still tipped 20%. I didn't complain to anyone but I am super unhappy. My nails were still surprisingly long and healthy after my first set of acrylics but I forced to cut them all short to make them look normal compared to the ripped nail.

Wow, I'm amazed with how much I loved my first time here. Grand Nails Spa is extremely large and kept very clean. They expanded the space about a year ago and I can understand why. On a Monday afternoon the place was extremely busy. Almost every station was filled. They take appointments and walk ins. Pricing is a little higher in comparison to other nail salons, IMO though it's worth it. I got a French dip manicure by Liz and a green tea pedicure by Jenny. Both services were relaxing and the ladies did a great job. I didn't love how I had both done at the same time, however, they asked me before hand if that was OK. Going forward I'll probably try and get them separate so I can enjoy each service on its own. This was my first time getting a dip manicure and I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. I was getting no chip manis for 15+ years, but as a mom with a newborn... I need something that's stronger and NOT going to chip or scratch my baby. It's been 4 weeks and my nails still look great and haven't chipped at all. read more

I never give reviews but have to say I had the best service I have ever received in my pedicure with Hannah! She is so good, so sweet, and gave me the best service I have ever received. Her attention to detail on my feet was amazing and she seemed to really care about helping my dry rough feet look smooth and feel so good! She didn't rush through anything. I will ask her for future appointments! And she genuinely smiled and laughed with me as my girls made fun of the cheese grater experience watching her get the dead skin off my heals! I am a loyal customer after many visits. (6 years) Their place is clean and organized. The employees are friendly and skilled. HGTV is always available to watch while you wait or have your nails done. I am very hard on my nails and their no chip lasts me a minimum 2-3 weeks, and pedicure 4-6 weeks, which is long for me! I've "cheated" on this place twice and the mani/pedi has lasted only a few days and the experience at the other two places were lackluster compared to Grand Nail. Truly a 5 star experience. read more

Worst pedicure!!! She didn't scrub my feet well at all. Normally they scrub your feet to get callous smooth nope not here!! The cuticle cut was not even much. She went through the movement but that's it. The fastest pedicure I have ever had. This was a terrible waste of $35 for a service that wasn't there I will NOT be back!! But on a positive note it's really cute and big inside. read more

I came in last week to get a manicure pedicure for my wedding. I was blown away by how clean and organized it was. The gentleman who did my nails (in wedding chaos I forgot his name!) was awesome and took his time and gave me the best nails of my life. I got so many complements and they still look amazing! He took his time and made sure they were absolutely perfect and even recommended adding some chrome to make them a pearly dream. I can't thank him enough! Rarely do you go and get something that looks better than your inspo picture! What I asked for and what I got .. what I got was 10000% better! THANK YOU! read more

Never have I been dissatisfied and have been coming since before their current location was brand new. They then tripled in building size, employee numbers, upgraded chairs and decor. Appointments are preferable but have always found a way to squeeze me in on the spare of the moment. read more

I'm honestly shocked at the bad reviews.. I've been there multiple times for acrylic, dip, no chip and pedicures and never had an issue. They are crazy busy on the weekends so definitely make an appointment! Or you will be waiting a long time. I feel like some of the comments about the employees being "rude" is just cause they are busy and working hard most of them work 8-6 6-7x days a week. Not an excuse to be rude but I've worked in the service industry I get it. The manager has always addressed my concerns I never have had an issue with that as some people said. The only bad experience I had was a new guy was practicing doing dip with tip extensions and so two of my nails broke 3 days after getting them done but I came back in and the manager fixed them for free! So ultimately it was fine and the guy told me he's only done this a few times. So I understood. Picture for reference read more

Not only that, but they literally have one of the biggest color selections I've seen whether it's for a mani, no chip or dip. It was a easy quick appointment to be made last minute which they squeeze me in on a Friday. The place inside is huge and has very beautiful decor. The prices are reasonable for what I got which was a no chip ballerina acrylic nails. I ended up paying $55 for the set I received which I think for the quality and the time that it takes it was reasonable. Definitely happy with the nails and my shape and I'm pretty picky person ! I just moved from the city to the suburbs and was looking for a nail salon that did high quality nails and were quick with great customer service and this spot is a GEM! The atmosphere was great and everyone was so kind. They were able to get me in as a walk in & got me out in an hour and 15 mins with both a mani and pedi. I was shocked at how great they turned out and how long they lasted. My nails have held up over a month without chipping and I am pretty hard on my hands. So glad I found this place, highly recommend! read more

I can not stress how hit or miss this place is. I have been going here for years and there are some amazing nail techs here and super nice people! However, there are also people who are rude and aggressive when doing nails. I have had such mixed experiences here. Some are my favorite nails ever but if you don't request a person (which can be hard with scheduling) it's really a coin toss. Also make sure you speak up as they're doing your nails! I did and was so unhappy with them which I expressed but I still paid for them ( which was a mistake) and tried to go back the next day bc my dip was already chipping and they said they don't do refunds. Andy was super helpful in this situation but other than that people were rude. read more

Honestly the best Nail salon I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot! Timothy, Kristen, Steven, and several others. Amazing. They are educational, knowledgeable, personable, and have amazing customer service. I felt like a true VIP the moment I walked in the door. I'm obsessed with my nails after- the work was amazing. They are artists! My hands felt amazing. Same with my pedicure. I hosted a bridal party there before my wedding and it was so much fun. Even the days just by myself, I'm relaxed and entertained by conversation. I live out of state but literally counting down the days till I'm back for my nails by Timothy. I can't find any services even near the perfection of work and care this salon provides in California. Maybe I'll just fly back once a month to get my nails done... haha (seriously if you open a spa in Southern California- put me on your list!) Worth every penny. My mother and aunt found this place for me and they are regulars! Also very clean and organized place! read more

This is my first time writing a review because I'm shocked at how bad the work was AND customer service. I got recommended to Julie-- I sat down and said hi and she just looked at me and said nothing. I got an acrylic full set and like my nails a certain way and asked for them to be thicker and her response was "you came to the wrong person because I like only like thin". Who says that to a paying customer??? I let her finish and she only used ONE DRILL on me and if you get your nails done regularly you know they're suppose to use 3 drills before painting them. Ann then painted them and just over looked how ridged they were on the sides. Never going back. read more

Never going back. I wanted a soak off. The lady sat down, didn't look at me once or say a thing.. she ripped off my acrylics with her own nails and a fake nail to use as a wedge. Completely ripped off the free edge of all my nails (which I wanted to keep). The tops of my nails looked so bad she continued to buff them harder than Ive ever had them buffed, but still looks terrible. She had to superglue one of my nails because she ripped them too far. The process was uncomfortable and she didn't care if I was flinching or pulling back my hands, just continued to rip them off. My nails are extremely weak and flimsy now. $12 dollars to ruin my nails when I could've done a soak off myself at home. I was definitely shocked and confused, would 100% get up and leave if it ever happens again elsewhere like I should have this time. read more

Meh. First time here and not impressed. The foot/leg massage was too short and the hand massage was non existent. She cut my toenails too short. Some of them are cut curved and removal of ingrowns was painful. When it was time for the hand massage after my manicure, she rubbed one hand for maybe a minute and just put lotion on the other. read more

Best place. Clean and Prompt. Great Service. Sam is the reason I changed from my former nail salon. Sam is the best with dip, ombré and designs. His brother Henry is a good nail tech, too. The salon takes precautions for CoVid with temp checks and sign-ins. Everyone wears a mask from clients to techs. Also, partitions are in place at each station to ensure social distancing. read more

The manager would not do anything to discount the price or provide me with another service to make up the $75 difference. This customer service is terrible. I would never have booked it for that price. If my price was going to be different, I should have been told prior to the massage. She told me she would talk to corporate and did call me back later that night only to tell me again that there was nothing the company would do about it. Then I was forced to pay because they already had my card on file and "could not discount it." That has to be illegal; it is stealing from me because I did not agree that price. I was told repeatedly that contacting upper management would not make a difference in resolving the issue because they would just kick it back to her and there was nothing she could do. Sent this message to "corporate" guest relations only to have it kicked back to the same manager I dealt with at the appointment, and she still would not adjust the charges. Just kept asking me if I wanted to sign up for a six month membership! Lady- I'm already pissed about how much money I spent and how terrible your customer service is -WHY would I want to give you more of my money???? AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have been going to this nail place since they opened their new location about a year ago and Jennifer provided such a wonderful experience that I have made this place my go-to for nails! She makes sure that you are super comfortable and does not leave anything out! I request Jennifer because I know that she is a perfectionist and has great ideas for color combos and designs for my nails. The staff is very organized and kind which makes getting my nails done fun. Grand Nails also has a wonderful selection for pedicure upgrades so be sure to ask for a menu! I've been to many nail salons in the area over the years and this salon is by far the best one!! It's definitely not your "typical" nail salon. They have close to 20 nail techs doing nails, and then at least 10 more nail techs doing pedi's. They offer different types of FREE soda pop, and wine!!! You can even BYOB!! The staff there are very professional and they know what they're doing. If you like your nails dipped, then this is the place to go!! Their prices are reasonable too for what they offer!! She does an amazing job each time and is truly talented especially when it comes to dip powder manicures (which she turned me on to) she's super knowledgeable and clearly loves doing nails and it shows. This was my first time there. I had a great experience. I was able to set up a quick and easy appointment on here (yelp app). I made an appointment with Liz and she was amazing. I needed to remove my acrylics and replaced with a dip manicure. Most salons would tell you they dont have enough time for a soak off for my acrylics and just rip your nails off any way possible. I've seen two different nail techs, Ruby and Nancy, both of whom were extremely friendly and professional. I get the dip manicure and they have a very wide selection of colors. The integrity of the dip powder is phenomenal; I had to wait 3 weeks before coming back in and nothing became dull and not a single nail broke. My nails always turn out exactly how I ask for them and the way they shape make my nails look so natural. This nail salon is great! It has a great location and it is very big so there's hardly ever a wait. They take car of you right away and if there is a wait, someone will tell you and make sure you're okay with waiting. Olivia did my nails and i absolutely love them. I told her to do whatever she wanted and she did every nail differently. This salon is the only salon I've gotten the dip manicure and they do an amazing job every time! I drive all the way out to the suburbs for a mani here once a month because the service is so great! This is by far the most hygienic nail salon I have ever been to. They opened all the tools from a sterilized package. The nail file and buffer were one time use, also opened in front of me.
