I made an appointment and showed up on time, and I got seated right away. I waited for about 15-20 minutes before someone started on my nails since the person I signed up for was running behind. They did communicate that with me, but I would've appreciated quicker service, especially since I had an appointment. As for my nails, I loved the color and the service I got. My nail tech was friendly and took her time. That said, my nails started chipping at about a week and a half, which was very disappointing. Now after 2 weeks, they are chipping significantly. Overall I am not happy that my nails didn't last at least 2 weeks.

I've been to many nail salons in the area over the years and this salon is by far the best one!! It's definitely not your "typical" nail salon. They have close to 20 nail techs doing nails, and then at least 10 more nail techs doing pedi's. They offer different types of FREE soda pop, and wine!!! You can even BYOB!! The staff there are very professional and they know what they're doing. If you like your nails dipped, then this is the place to go!! Their prices are reasonable too for what they offer!! I come here every 2 weeks and get my nails done by liz. She does an amazing job each time and is truly talented especially when it comes to dip powder manicures (which she turned me on to) she's super knowledgeable and clearly loves doing nails and it shows. Also this nail spa in itself is beautiful, super clean and reasonably priced compared to the other salons in the area. I've seen two different nail techs, Ruby and Nancy, both of whom were extremely friendly and professional. I get the dip manicure and they have a very wide selection of colors. The integrity of the dip powder is phenomenal; I had to wait 3 weeks before coming back in and nothing became dull and not a single nail broke. My nails always turn out exactly how I ask for them and the way they shape make my nails look so natural. This nail salon is great! It has a great location and it is very big so there's hardly ever a wait. They take car of you right away and if there is a wait, someone will tell you and make sure you're okay with waiting. Olivia did my nails and i absolutely love them. I told her to do whatever she wanted and she did every nail differently. This salon is the only salon I've gotten the dip manicure and they do an amazing job every time! If you are getting a dip manicure, this is the only spot in the Chicagoland area you should even consider. I drive all the way out to the suburbs for a mani here once a month because the service is so great! This is by far the most hygienic nail salon I have ever been to. They opened all the tools from a sterilized package. The nail file and buffer were one time use, also opened in front of me. The foot basins have a plastic disposable liner. 18 pedicure chairs. I was seated as soon as I arrived. My mani and pedi look great! Highly recommend! read more

It looked clean and modern. They played cooking shows on the TV screens, which I enjoy. I was seated at a pedicure chair right away and given a choice of colors for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did ask to ensure that they would not use the electric sander on my nails. I was quite pleased to find that they never use that for gel nails, a policy that I wish more salons would adopt. There were only two customers when I arrived, but people began to shuffle in during the time I was there. The pedicure was fine. I appreciate that they did not try to upsell me, but I do think it would have been nice to have more services such as a bit more of a massage or some more scrubs. It was quite basic and I wasn't offered other options. I was then moved to the manicure table after the pedicure was complete. Like the pedicure, it went by quite quickly. Not that it is necessary, but the staff really made no attempt to have a conversation at all. I'm OK with it, but they could have come across a little friendlier. No one was rude at all, but it just wasn't the warmest environment. As far as the manicure, I liked the color, but the gel dried unevenly with a few bumps here and there which annoyed me. Also it just wasn't quite the length or shape that I requested. All in all, I was glad that they were able to get me in and it was a decent service at a reasonable price. However, I do feel that the services were quite basic and it wasn't the best looking manicure that I've had.

Previously, mine were lifting within the first week of application. Faye, anticipating my needs and recognizing that is unacceptable, tried out TAP gel on my nails to see if this product doesn't give me the same issue and VOILA! Now my nails last 3-4 weeks with no lifting and I see her for a refresh when they've simply gotten overgrown. Over the 4 years she's been my nail technician, I've had the pleasure of witnessing her anticipate her other clients needs just as accurately - whether it's regular polish, gel, builder gel, TAP gel, acrylic... you will get an invaluable experience in Faye's chair and walk away with a beautiful end result and a satisfaction that you can sit back, relax, and TRUST the professional!
