    Seared tuna

Our party of five enjoyed a nice dinner outdoors here. The service was very good, the food was fine but not memorable. Scallops well prepared, tuna was cooked just right and they were willing to work with a good allergy. They also split a salad for two since small salads not available. Everything was ok but not the kind of place you'd tell people to go in key west with so many choices.

The food was exceptional , I loved the fact that it was in this old 19th century home . It felt posh and swanky lol. The decor was old Victorian style furniture and the walls were adorn with abstract modern style art . Our waiter Was named Gerard (not sure of spelling ) however his service was top tier. I had the whole yellow tail snapper flash fried , which If I may say taste completely different than the red snapper which I do not care for . Anyway it was plated atop of mixed greens on one side and basmati rice on the other and paired with a tangy citrus marmalade that had jalapeño peppers in it . It was

Not sure about all these anonymous one star reviews. That brings there yelp review down. But we had a great experience We had : Cucumber martini Mojito Bruschetta Beef carpaccio Cheese plate Leche martini Old-fashioned (don't order) All met or exceeded expectation, except for the old-fashioned I would pass on that. Old-fashioned did not have a solid cube ice nor the luxardo cherries, or orange peel. (Miss) Service was spotty: good in the beginning then missing But the atmosphere and ambience and no loud music brought this four star to a five star . Will definitely come back .

Blackened mahi mahi with black beans, mango salsa, rice and plantains.

We made dinner reservations for 5:30; however, after a full-day walking around Key West, we were running out of energy. We were able to get seated at 4:00. We opted to sit on the porch. A cold front came through, and they brought us blankets! We ordered the blackened mahi mahi. It was so delicious. The service was efficient and excellent. We were impressed!

The space is gorgeous, and it's one of the largest spaces on the island. We were able to get right in on a Saturday night, which is honestly the only reason we ended up here. It seemed like a mix of locals and tourists. The menu was pretty expensive, but it's more of a white tablecloth vibe, which was fine. The mojito I had was refreshing with fresh mint. The conch fritters were really delicious- kind of like a hush puppy with some chewy clams inside. The whole grilled fish I had was delicious. The surf and turf my son ordered was very mediocre. Still a delicious meal!

Tina was the server- On a busy street so it does get a little loud - but we also decided to sit outside - it's cold inside decided on the front - nothing is disappointing- favorite thing on the table was definitely the beet salad - thanks again

Seared Tuna entree and whole snapper entree

Overall service was okay, good not great. It was a cool night for Key West and staff wasn't able to figure out the heat lamps but they did have blankets. We didn't get a lot of attention from our servicer but we also didn't have a lot of questions. Seared Tuna with was a solid meal, loved the combo of the rice noodles. Whole Snapper was also great but just something was missing to make this experience 5-star.

    Outdoor patio

Very underwhelming. The menu looked delicious but felt the quality wasn't there and was overpriced for what we got. The pasta was fine. Tuna steak was very dry. We did go on Christmas Eve so maybe it was an off night but it took hours to get our food and multiple tables were seated and finished before we received our meals. Think there was a mess up but again, it was a holiday so maybe an off night. The wine selection was okay. The outdoor patio was what drew us in- excellent ambiance! Across from the hard rock so great music playing during dinner

I can't say much about the entrees but the bar is great. Amazing ice cold martinis , friendly bar tenders and great atmosphere. The Brushetta was fresh and tasty.

Service is good at the bar. Not great outside. Food served in a very hot plate was barely warm.

Maybe I just didn't order the right thing, but my partner didn't enjoy his food too much either. Not worth coming twice to unfortunately in my opinion. Our waitress is what really blew it, overall very bad attitude. Seemed almost judge-mental. Didn't take away our used plates, which ending up making the small table super crowded, didn't check up on us, and over-all was mute the entire time serving us. Would come and in a blink she was gone again before we could ask anything. I understand waitresses can get caught up when taking care of multiple people, but there truly wasn't many people there. The Ambiance was nice, tables and overall space did look clean. We had an early dinner so there wasn't too much of a crowd. Bar had nice music. The aesthetic of the place is charming. Overall I'd give it 3 stars. If you're hungry and need a fill-me-up this is a good spot. Otherwise, if you can, I'd suggest you go elsewhere.

Great service at this restaurant. On my most recent visit, the views weren't quite as picturesque because there was a large amount of sargassum (seaweed) along the shoreline. A skid steer was actively pushing it into piles, and the smell was unfortunately pretty strong. That's obviously a natural condition and not really the restaurant's fault, but it did take away from the overall waterfront experience that day. Thankfully, the food was still excellent. The conch fritters are a must-order, and the fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was served quickly. The restaurant offers all outdoor seating with views of the beach and the neighboring hotel's sandy beachfront, complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, giving it a laid-back Key West vibe. There's also convenient off-street parking nearby, which is a nice bonus. If you're exploring the Southernmost Point and want a casual spot with good food and a relaxing atmosphere, Southernmost Beach Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Hopefully, you'll catch it on a day when the water is clear and free of sargassum so you can fully enjoy the views.

My wife and I planned a trip down and up the Keys in January as I was to start chemo and radiation on February 5th. On the 4th we received an email from American that our flight from PHX to MIA was canceled. We immediately reached out to each hotel, car and activity group that we planned. Each activity group understood and refunded us. The car company penalized us for 1 day but refunded the other 7 days. The hotel in Islamorada and Key Largo both refunded us with the Islamorada charging us for one night but it was better than nothing. We didn't mess with the one in MIA because it was a cheap hotel and wasn't worth the hassle. The Pier House first asked us for proof of the cancellation which I forwarded the email that I received from American. Heard nothing back. Reached out again asking for a refund or that we'd even be willing to rebook in May once my treatment was over and a few weeks to heal up. Finally we heard back that they were denying the refund and wouldn't accommodate our request to reschedule "because your non-refundable hotel did not qualify for modification nor refund exception.". While I understand it was non-refundable, a level of understanding should have been given as this was beyond our control and we were willing to reschedule. Needless to say, that cost me nearly $2500 so I assure you that I won't be booking with them again. I just want to pass along the compassion that this hotel management has and I'd personally recommend looking at a different property.

Truman Little White House in Key West. We opted for the White Glove VIP Tour, and it was hands-down awesome. The VIP package takes the standard visit to a whole new level. We were able to access exclusive areas that regular tour groups couldn't, got to sit inside the actual presidential limo, and went next door to examine rare historic artifacts in the museum foundation's private archives. The entire two-hour tour flew by, largely thanks to our guide, Greg, who was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and top-tier. Now, a word of caution for future visitors... Beware the Hawaiian Shirt Curse. Legend has it that during Truman's post-presidential travels in the Pacific, a local Hawaiian elder bestowed a vibrant, hand-stitched shirt upon him--along with a subtle tiki curse. The spell was woven directly into the fabric: anyone who dons the garment shall be consumed by an insatiable, endless drive to acquire tropical resort wear. During the VIP tour, I was actually permitted to try on one of Truman's original vintage Hawaiian shirts. Ever since that moment, I've been on a full-blown spending spree buying Hawaiian shirts. My closet is overflowing, my bank account is weeping, but my tropical wardrobe has never looked better. Whether the legend is real or I'm just rationalizing my new fashion obsession, this tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Don't skip the VIP upgrade!
