This is, without a doubt, the grossest restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. I genuinely regret not checking the restroom before sitting down to eat. If I had, I would have walked right out. The conditions in this all-you-can-eat buffet are appalling. The restroom is filthy--there's what appears to be blood in an overflowing trash can, the base of the toilet looks like it has never been cleaned, and rusty, rotting metal is visible everywhere. The windowsills are literally falling apart, showing severe rot and peeling paint. As for the food? Most of it was lukewarm at best, which is a major food safety concern. The entire place made me feel so disgusted that I'm genuinely questioning whether I should call the health department. I'll consider myself lucky if I don't get food poisoning. Probably the best chinese buffet ive been to. Although I havent been to many. We visited on a Saturday. The place had lots of diners but not over crowded. Dinner was $11.25 a person. I liked that the food was being refilled consistently and hot and fresh. The waiter cleared our table often. My food was pretty good. Selection and variety of foods were also great. Negatives: I will say that there bathroom was dirty with trash on the floors. Yuck! And the sugar cookies were nasty! I also saw a lady cleaning off tables with the same rag she used to clean off the seats. That's pretty disgusting. read more

Dropped in for lunch 3/5/24. Had been a while since I visited last. The place was busy at noon which is a good sign for me though we were seated quickly. Checking out the buffet it was full of the usual buffet fare. There are many chicken dishes which some reviewers mentioned as an issue. Not for me. All that I tried were tasty and the temperatures were adequate. The sesame chicken and General Tso chicken were two standouts. The black pepper chicken looked good but was a bit chewy. There was also chicken and broccoli but the broccoli was overcooked. The one disappointment was the Korean style chicken. It was dry and somewhat flavorless. The egg rolls were good and also the Thai rolls were nice too. The cheese wontons were ok but I prefer the fancier shaped ones which are crunchy. I didn't try soup as I could not find it at first but they had the trifecta of hot sour, wonton and egg drop. Dessert was fruits some canned puddings and cake and cookies. I didn't see ice cream so was a bummer for me. It's my closest buffet so I'll be back. read more

Buffets have to be outstanding and unforgettable to get five stars. So, three stars is actually respectable. The selection is good. Lots of chicken dishes including two types of wings. They also have beef roast that is seasoned well and pulls apart. We went in the evening so there were four to five different types of shrimp dishes. I didn't even look at the crab as its not my fav anyway. It wasn't the best buffet ever but it was good enough to go back again one day when I want to dabble in some different Chinese/American dishes. The price was also good. read more

We all three got food poisoning for three days after eating here. My daughter was vomiting profusely after eating the crab legs.

I ate here about an hour ago the hospitality was very judgmental. The plate i grabbed had food stuck to it. And the worst part was 45 min after getting there my stomach felt weird and by the time i got home to the bathroom i realized i had food poisoning. I'm never eating here again. read more

We had a horrible experience there. We walked in and there was a funky smell-that should have been our first clue. My main complaint was that they placed seafood dishes right next to Asian chicken stuff and American, so there was lots of potential for cross contamination if you are allergic to seafood like I am. They had some weird stuff on the menu too. My son tried some of the seafood and got violently ill. We were all nauseous for hours after eating there. And the buffet was crowded, tables too close together and the buffet prices were way too expensive considering the food. The salad bar had no actually salad on it, just large pieces of lettuce--so weird. This buffet would never make it in the city. It's buffet food. I have eaten here many times. They refresh the food regularly and it's fresh and hot with a large variety. I love the sauteed garlic green beans, roast and everything in between and sometimes they even have fresh egg too young (not available on most buffets). Its inexpensive but a little pricier if want take out buffet-which was my first time trying. read more

For Chinese food. It's standard, for Chinese food in the area, it's the best. Their dinner buffet has quite a selection of just about everything, including american style dishes, desserts, and fruit. But my favorite part is that they have sushi and lobster. Altho the 2 are kind of hit or miss. One time its excelent another time the lobsters been in the water so long its washed away the taste. In my opinion, they could have a few more dishes. It's a lot of the same thing, whith just a different spice kick or a slightly off sauce. But the wait staff is incredibly nice and are pretty attentive too. And the price is good, so it's a win win win :) read more

VERY racist!! my family has been coming here for years (white family keep in mind). we have never & i mean NEVER had to pay for what we didn't eat. i came with my boyfriend (african american male) & my two cousins (white) tonight because i've talked so highly of this place. they charged him (my boyfriend) for an extra meal because he placed his left overs in a box. when questioning why they do this now all of a sudden they had no answer for me. i stated i've been coming here for years... even YESTERDAY i was here and they didn't do this for me. the worker went quiet and smiled in my face. let's also not forget to mention that my boyfriend got hovered over the whole time when it came to paying and was told that HE needed to pay at the table... but allowed my cousins to go straight up to the front to pay where ALL of us pay at and have been paying at for as many years as i've been coming here. why? why was it such a big deal that you got payed by him at the table? and why did he have to pay for a whole other meal because he wanted to take food home? and why did only HE have to pay it? racial discrimination is a terrible habit to build and i hope nobody else has to endure this uncomfortable experience. so many years of love for this restaurant just for them to make me uncomfortable and hate it now..... read more

Glad to see they have reopened. The food is as good as I remember. I went straight for my favorites like black pepper chicken, seafood delight, baked spinach with cheese, and crab ragoons. They have many other favorites too. They have done well redesigning the restaurant since it was closed for some time due to a fire. The place looks roomier and the back wall is now a nice mural of horses running and even the ceiling has the look of the sky with a few palm trees. I would highly recommend this place. read more

If you know me, you know that I love me a good Chinese buffet. Grand buffet left me wanting. I know I'm not going to find a buffet to compare to ones in big cities, but while this was close to three stars, it didn't quite make it and I'm about to tell you why. The best thing I had here was the salt and pepper prawns. Those were really legit. Crunchy, zesty, big prawns. The salt and pepper chicken, broccoli chicken and green beans were also decent. Crab legs... ok. It's just downhill from there. I think that a lot of the dishes actually tasted decent, but were out on hot plates too long. We went around 6, so it was still prime dinner time but I noticed they started serving dinner at 3 or 4. There's an easy solution to this: put out less until you hit prime dinner time. Why this couldn't even meet an average Chinese buffet standard: too many breaded chicken variants. The hot and sour soup, which actually TASTED good, had way too much cornstarch in it so it had almost a gelatinous consistency. The lo mein noodles must have been cooked too long because they were a bit mushy. Potstickers had been out too long and were hard. Honey shrimp was douched in mayo. List goes on. For all these issues, $10 is too much. The service was fine for a buffet, but I'm probably not coming back here unless I'm wildly desperate for Chinese buffet and this is the closest one- and if that happens I hope the food's better. read more

The food is cheap and plentiful. Whenever a pan emptied out, it was immediately filled. Staff was efficient. The place was packed at 2:00 on a Sunday with the after church crowd. It needs some updating, but it isn't a place you are going to spend that long at it anyway. read more
