A mecca for ice cream lovers of all ages, as witnessed on Saturday. All made on the premises. I tried a new flavor-- Tiramisu-- and it was heavenly. I may have to cheat on my other new fave (chocolate chip). Went home with 4 quarts and looking forward to the Fall specials!

The sign caught our eye as we were casually driving around enjoying the snow and we are so glad we stopped by. This place has delicious ice cream and the lady behind the counter was super kind. My young one was having a hard time deciding what flavor ice cream to get and she patiently let him try a few flavors until he picked one. I'm saving this to my Yelp favorites list as place to definitely return to.

Cute ice cream shoppe, love that there are animals to visit with and they seem well taken care of. There was a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, some that i have never heard of. Would have given 5 stars but deducted a star because they don't clean the scooper before switching flavors. I ordered sorbet and they gave me a scoop that had regular ice cream in it, i am lactose intolerant so was not able to eat the whole portion i paid for.

A very good ice cream for the area, with plenty to look at and good scoops to try. Around the area, and found a random ice cream stop to try. The place is pretty big, lots of places outside to sit and a full petting zoo with all the farm animals and feeding stations around the area. This ice cream spot has lots of flavors to try, and thankfully a sampler tray to try a bunch. I tried their rum raisin, brownie batter, snicker doodle, and cookie dough. Ice cream is dense and has very strong flavors. It's a very good quality ice cream and priced well Overall, a very solid dish of cow juice. It's a place worth trying if you're in the area for sure

Granval Scoop, Granville, MASS July 7, 2024 On my way home from Wildwood up near Cranberry Pond, my kids and I stopped by for a quick refresher. I've been going to Granval Scoop for years. We use it as a reward and inspiration to get up get going and we'll stop at Granval scoop. Most of the time it's Grampa or Bestafar or Ye Ye treating but tonight I treated. Our little one has an egg and peanut allergy so he does have to be careful. He asked for the cookie dough and it was great. No worries. My daughter asked for the Reeses Pieces and she loved that. So much she wouldn't give her old man a taste. I went for the Coffee Heath. This was delectable. I went this time with the knowledge from my last visit which was a much slower time and not many guests. I asked a big question about going from Cow to ice cream and the owner went to great lengths to educate me on the many nuances of the ice cream business. Absolutely fascinating. This time I had that knowledge and we were still alarmed at the wonderful taste in my mouth but the obtrusive smell coming from the animals. This is a memorable contrast. I found some shade from the oppressive heat and we watched the Llamas make funny faces and we also saw the peacock showing off big time. Every visit brings back memories. If you are in the mood for a $4+ ice cream cone of some of the utmost quality and thick rich creamy ice cream made on location, this is the place for all the families, kids, grandparents, bikers young people and world travelers. Everyone is welcome at Granval Scoop! Maybe we will see you there!

It's been yearsss since I had been here and the ice cream is still just as delicious! They have SO many flavors to choose from which is the hardest part of the visit They have a few farm animals onsite which is fun for every age! The animals are well taken care of and very friendly!

Super fun place! My sign language group decided to have our meet up here and wow what a fun choice. It's a little off the beaten path but worth the effort. It was hard to choose from all of the unique homemade flavors but I narrowed it down to Rhubarb and Caramel Apple Cheesecake. Both ice creams were yummy but the apple was my favorite. Service is fast and friendly. Outdoors is where the real fun begins. We walked around and enjoyed the petting zoo. Bring some quarters with you if you want to feed the animals some grains. Last night it was especially crowded because it was movie night so people were stretched out on the lawn ready to watch a film. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating, indoors, outdoors, covered and uncovered. What I enjoyed most is that lingering is encouraged. It's quite a gem.

    Sign at night.

While visiting in Massachusetts, a friend took me here to get some ice cream. He had a sundae which look nice, while I got a cone with cookie dough and mint chip ice cream. The cookie dough was good, but the star of the show was the mint chip which was very creamy. Also, it was white as opposed to green (so those, like myself, avoiding artificial colours take note.) Would go back!

Delicious homemade ice cream and fresh waffle cones with a side of llamas and other cool farm animals. This is a great place to bring your family, but make sure you bring a cooler bag, too because their freezer is stocked with pints, quarts and half gallons at discount prices!

They planted it this way so people can reach it when the fruits are ready to be picked, genius idea. They also grow peaches, plums, nectarines, blueberries, various vegetables, and Asian pears. We went in September for apple picking. The parking lot was spacious, a nice farm stand, a patio area, and a picnic area. This year, apple picking started on 8/31/2024 and ends in late October. You have to check in at the window to purchase a ticket; they give you a bag and ticket for a tractor ride to the apple orchard. The farm stand has donuts, ice cream, cider, slushie, and a cafe. The tractor ride was fun; you can buy a ticket just for the tractor ride alone for $5 or $18 for a bag and tractor ride. We waited about 30 minutes for the tractor; it was the last tractor ride of the day and it was a busy Saturday. We went late in the season so most of the apples were picked over. We were able to get a bag full though. The property was amazing and the view of the hills from the orchard was lovely. After, we sat at the picnic table area and which had fire pits too. They had toys for the kids and there was live music. We tried out their hard cider (4-pack $24) and it was good. Overall, it's a fun place to do a fall festivitiy.

They use a mixture of cream, milk, sugar, and other ingredients; this mixture gets poured over a very cold ice pan. They constantly mix/stir it, then flatten it, and roll it up. After, toppings can be added onto it. I had the French toast which was very tasty; it was sweet and extra cold and reminded me of cinnamon toast crunch. I had one topping, the marshmallows, which I don't recommend since it was stale. I also had the taro boba tea sans the boba pearls; they didn't have any but I still had the taro tea and it was good. My toddler had the birthday cake flavored rolled ice cream and he loved it, especially with the m&m and gummy bear toppings. The location was convenient; it was in a plaza with plenty of parking. The employee was friendly. Overall, a good spot to get this type of specialty ice cream, without going to Thailand.

I opened Yelp and found this place. I chose the "Mango Girl," which is listed as having fresh mango. The friendly attendant took a cup of premixed cream, sugar, and whatever else goes into ice cream and some mango and poured it out on what looked like a pizza pan. I wasn't sure what she was up to, but watched in wonder as she went at this mixture with a couple metal spatulas, chopping, mixing, and chopping again (hence the "stir fried ice cream" claim) as the liquid began to freeze. It turns out that the "pizza pan" was wicked cold. She flattened and smoothed out the mixture just before it hardened, and then, scraped it off the pan in neat little rolls, and put about 6 or 7 little rolls in a paper bowl. We then moved to the toppings station where I was told to choose "up to 4" toppings... stuff like white chocolate chips, rice crispy bar, and some Japanese cookies and candies. All in: $8.00 including tax. Very intriguing. Unique for me, but here's the deal: the ice cream just wasn't very good. It was overly sweet and had no distinct flavor. I don't know if it was supposed to be vanilla with mango in it, mango with mango in it, or maybe sweet cream and mango. It was just sweet. Too sweet. No flavor. And, wicked cold. Which is good in concept, but not so good for eating ice cream. It was hard. It crumbled into dry bits when I tried to take a spoonful. So, I was left with not-so-great ice cream that was difficult to eat. As it warmed, it was not-so-good ice cream that was less difficult to eat. I give Icy Rolls a star for the ice cream, a star for the idea and presentation, and a star for being open at 2pm on Sunday.
