Despite the wretched summer weather the man working in the food truck has been very nice and friendly (I would have been cranky 10 minutes into dealing with the heat) and he makes fantastic fries. The level of seasoning varies, which it to be expected, but it is delicious nonetheless. And they have been fresh fries every time. The burgers are good. I didn't expect two patties for just a cheeseburger. And the cheese is actually melted, it wasn't thrown on as if it was an afterthought. I tried the ice cream for the first time today - vanilla soft serve in a waffle bowl with the cheesecake flavor burst - it tasted a bit more like a salted caramel (but that's just me) but I enjoyed anyway. Its been a really long time since I've had soft serve ice cream and Cha's was the perfect place to break that ice cream dry spell.
