We stopped for ice cream and the line was short, they have a very impressive ice cream menu with over 100 flavors of soft serve and many of hard scoop. It's such a fun 50's vibe! read more

Stopped in for lunch on way back to the house. It's an old drive in and places for the kids to run around. We all got a burger with fries. In my mind it the best burger for drive in's in a 30 mile radius. Haven't tried it but my grandkids on their last trip up had their ice cream and loved it better than in town. Will be back when I fly back up. read more

We saw a long line here while driving the 202 and pulled a U-turn to check this spot out. A tremendous offering of ice cream. They claim to have like a hundred options. Very easy to get overwhelmed. I kept my order simple with a soft serve vanilla on a cake cone dipped in butterscotch glaze which was a temporary offering. The ice cream was incredibly fluffy. You could see small air pockets which is not something I typically look for in ice cream. The ice cream is still rich and creamy despite the light texture. The butterscotch dip was a great topping. It was a transient option, but I'd be inclined to try any dip. I'd skip on the cake cone, but it was the only cone that they'd dip. It a tough choice between dip or waffle cone. Service was fast. There is a huge yard with ample seating. Large parking lot too. read more

Absolutely loved the amount of dairy free ice creams they had! I chose coffee flavored and it was so delish! The vibe here is so chill and fun and relaxing. Throwback to the 50's. Loved the varied areas of seating and the kids play areas. read more

This place is so fun. It was the perfect place to take some kids who had some spare energy and needed a snack. The ice cream list is overwhelming with options... like it took even me 10 mins to decide. The open field in the back was great for the kids to zoom around and even take the dog for a bit of a (leashed) run. Good food on a lovely summer evening. read more

We just moved to the area from the Midwest and found this spot. It is definitely like hopping back in time. Very nostalgic. Yes, like other's say, there were long lines, but it went fast and was totally worth it. The sundae was incredible. I loved the kraut dog. The French fries were also great! It's a cute place with lots of outdoor seating. When family comes to visit I will definitely be taking them here for the experience and great food. read more

Cindy's is one of the very few reasons people come to Granby. It's changed so much over the years! I can't believe they got rid of their indoor seating. Those adorable diner booths were a huge part of the charm. Instead, they have a ton of outdoor seating. I love Cindy's! I personally think they have THE best soft serve. It is way creamier and richer than other ice cream places. They give huge portions which is why I usually get the kiddie cone. Now that I'm vegetarian, there's not much on the food menu for me. I used to love their long dogs and nuggets. I'll have to stick to fries and ice cream instead now! read more

Great place for the whole family and dogs, too. Everything went well, good lunch, great ice cream and fun place read more

Cindy's never disappoints. The wait can be long, but typically the food and ice cream are well worth it and the staff are friendly. There is no indoor seating anymore, so go on a nice day. There is plenty of space for kids to play out back and many people bring their dogs along. Definitely recommend a long dog and whatever their special soft serve of the week is. read more

Stopped at Cindy's Drive In with my wife as we travelled from Vermont to NYC. It was a 25 minute detour off route 91 but it was well worth the detour. Loved it so much, we will certainly return. Our favorite was the maple bacon crème which is a seasonal flavor. Absolutely fantastic with actual bacon mixed in. The chili cheese dog with o ions was solid too. My pup loved her ice cream. Cute spot. Since 1995 but has a 1950s retro vibe. read more

We'd driven past this place before. They had good prices and long lines for sure. A very popular place. You can get food there, but we stopped for the ice cream. I got the Barbie, which was a special because of the movie. It tasted like strawberry lemonade. The French vanilla ice cream was good as well. The watermelon slush was a little too sweet and fake tasting. They were having a Harry Potter week with special flavors for that. The next time we stop by my brother-in-laws place we'll stop here again to try something else. read more

I take my son to Cindy's because of the play equipment. It could be a really great place for kids but unfortunately now, most of the play scapes are all pushed together and a mess. There are pieces that have broken off just laying around. There is also trash left around. We arrived here the last time at 11am and the workers or owners should clean the place up either the night before or before they open the next day. There are also weeds all over the play train. It seems like laziness on the owners part. read more

Went there today, which is July 4th, 2025. It was packed! I only wanted their French fries. Today they were horrible. Double fried, old tasting, and unsalted. I will definitely go back some day and order again, and I expect they will be better. read more

Cindy's was amazing. This was the best food I've had in a while. I would highly recommend. Their service was also amazing. The food came out very quick but was very fresh. The grounds and playground for children are nice. However the icecream prices are very high and the menu is not accurate. Some of the workers lack appropriate training. A hot fudge sundae is $6.50. I was asked if I wanted nuts and had to ask if nuts are extra. Yes, they are. I received bill of 12.50 for my sundae and a small scoop of chocolate ice cream for my wife. I asked how that is possible. I was then told (after ordering) there is an added charge for hard ice cream. The menu is inaccurate (worker agreed). In ending, their prices are ridiculously high. You can buy name brand (more flavorful) ice cream for 3-$5 a half gallon at supermarkets or visit other ice cream shops in the local area. read more

Cindy's has the best soft serve ice cream in Massachusetts! There are so many flavors to chose from, ranging from sweet to refreshing! I usually get the orange creamsicle, it is very good. A really cool thing about Cindy's is that you can have any milkshake you want. Any soft serve flavor can be made into a milkshake, which is very cool. The food comes out very quickly, I haven't had to wait more than five minutes for my food. This place is great! Definitely recommend! read more

I loved going to Cindy's Drive In! The menu was kind of chaotic as there are flavors thrown out everywhere and it is hard to follow. (That's the reason for 4 stars.) However the ice cream was so so good! It is fall and I tried the pumpkin Oreo and I loved every second of it! read more

There is nothing like an old fashioned drive-in complete with soft serve ice cream, bananas splits, hamburgers and hot dogs. The vibes of the place is very retro - I love seeing the classic/vintage cars that show up from time to time. Just a fun environment. I always end up getting some hamburgers and cheese fries with my soft serve. It's a decent value - taste is above the bar, although having a slice of melted cheese (kraft singles) on top of french fries is not exactly what I would hope for. The food experience may not be top notch but it is still nostalgic. The draw for me is more the experience. There's lots of seating out back with nice view of a meadow. If you've got kids, they have a sprawling set of simple playground equipment. It's the perfect place to head after dinner when its getting close to dusk. read more

I knew I was going to visit the reservoir to spend the afternoon with my husband as a pre anniversary get away. So I did research online to find the nearest ice cream shop and I found Cindy's. We had lunch at the reservoir and went after for ice cream. This place was overwhelming with all the different possibilities! We decided to do the hard serve ice cream because it was a really hot day and it was going to melt fast! You can try the hard flavors but not the soft serve flavors. So I had the moose tracks - OMM! Not stingy with the chunky goodness !! At the bottom was graham central. It was sooo good tasted EXACTLY like a graham cracker! To top it off I chose the chocolate toasted almond dipped cone. It was the best ice cream experience of my ice cream life. Hubby got roasted coconut and moose tracks too. Also very delicious! Best part! The total was $9! Must try! read more

Excellent foot long dog menu. Very reasonably price. Nice place for young kies to eat and play.

Great food and friendly service!!! Their sister shop Rice Fruit Farm in Wilbraham is awesome as well with their home made ice cream!!!

I was debating if I wanted to stop for dinner when I drove by a fun looking place with a full parking lot...so I pulled a 180 and parked in front of a wide field with play structures for kids and lots of fun colored chairs and tables. They have a huge menu of hard and soft ice creams. I had a Rhubarb Sundae which was delicious. I just wish there was more rhubarb and less whip cream. Crust was excellent. It was like a rhubarb pie with ice cream and whipped cream. Also enjoyed a BLT and small order of clam strips. All were very good. The BLT was loaded with bacon. I suggest not taking it out of the wrapping but eat it from the secondary wrap. The clam strips were not greasy AT ALL. They were great. I wish i had gotten the large size. I would recommend this place for all ages and I will come again. read more

My wife and I were out and about and decided to stop at Cindy's to give the hot dogs a try. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and took a seat at the counter. Both of us ordered the hot dog special with fries and a soft drink and asked what we would like on our dogs. I must say these were really good hot dogs. Perfectly cooked with a great snap in every bite.....but the grilled roll all nice and soft and slightly crispy put these dogs over the edge for me. The fries were golden brown and crispy and fresh....how could you ask for more for a mere $6.00. Oh did I mention.....these aren't regular size hot dogs.....no no these are in my opinion 8 inches or so. Much larger than the competitors and may I say cheaper. If you want a great hot dog at a reasonable price with a great atmosphere try Cindy's. read more

Price is low and the ice cream has the most wonderful taste in this area. I would recommend it.

Best roadside restaurant in western mass, especially the hotdogs and fries. A literal summer staple.

Cindy's is great for many reasons, obviously the soft serve but also because of the various choices, soft serve, hard ice cream, the toppings, the dippings, vegan options and much more! The menu is super huge and anyone should be able to find something they will like.
