I am writing from a chair in the waiting area about ten minutes after closing. My car has JUST been taken back, an hour after my appointment. I have no clue what's going on here. The staff is always the same, the customers are always annoyed and if you complain to the staff their recommendation is (no joke) to go to Frederick instead for tire service. Change something, or shut it down and use it for more store space. No one is happy with what's happening here, and I feel bad for the employees who are working well past close on over-booked appointments.

Perhaps, all Costcos have a similar layout. This Costco definitely had way more sampling stations compared to the one in my area. During my visit, I did not have too many issues trying to find the items that I needed. Shoot, I even picked up some items that I did NOT need. ;) Overall, I thought customer service and the prices were pretty good. The parking situation was the one thing that I did not like about this location (oh, and the fact that it does not have a gas station). Then again, crappy parking seems to be a characteristic for this area. I thought the parking lot was way too congested; it too me about 10 minutes to enter the parking lot. For instance, there is a lane that turns into the parking lot. However, that lanes forces drivers to drive directly in front of the store where customers are leaving or entering the store. Most of the wait to find parking is waiting for folks to cross the "street" while entering or leaving the store. Because of this situation, folks have to wait in a long queue of cars just to enter the parking lot. While it's too late to do this, I think it would be much more efficient to have cars enter only through the rear of the parking lot.

To make up for my indiscretion I also bought my dog a bag of dog treats, and I bought some healthy micro greens. After the installation on Tuesday, the light came on, disappeared, and then came back again on today Thursday. I was told two sensors were failing, then one, and then again two. Now I'm expected to pay $63.29 per sensor, even though none were failing before the service. This is very concerning. On top of that, all four of my rims are now scratched. The damage is consistent with improper handling, but I was told it was "normal wear." I was asked to fill out a claim form for the rims, but I seriously doubt they will take responsibility. I understand sensors can fail, but combined with the rim damage and inconsistent information, this has been a terrible experience. Trying to save money ended up costing more. I do not recommend this location. If you come here, take pictures of your rims, tires, and any part of your vehicle before service. There is no guarantee your car won't be damaged, and they will likely not take responsibility.

I'm going to be honest, I had no idea there was a mall in this highway triangle. I thought the…read morespace between where I-270 and I-495 met had nothing in it. I've only seen the area from the highways that are tree lined. I am quite amazed by how out of touch I was for this area. This mall is quite expansive. The one thing I love about the DMV area is that the malls are still thriving. Not to the point where every single store is filled, but no where near dead mall territory. I had some time to kill before I had to head back home and wanting to pick up some items. Parking here had me. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to park. I ended up in the outdoor lots and didn't even want to mess with the parking structure. As a note, early here means you will encounter a slew of parents with their children in tow. Be careful and mindful in the parking lot as they will be everywhere. The mall had a bit of everything in here. The typical anchors and national chains you would expect to find in a mall. Food court area was jammed with eateries and customers. I opted to not eat here. Would definitely come back. Especially on a lazy day. Good people watching, enough stores to grab whatever you might be thinking of getting, and ample parking.

The food court is always packed with people with many different choices. The restaurants available inside the mall is always interesting. I saw a new Thai takeaway place downstairs near where Claire's used to be. The selections of the store keeps evolving. I had no idea Lululemon moved and has a bigger store now. It's hard to believe that the malls in America are dying when you see how crazy busy it is at the Mall. I couldn't find parking until I parked closer to the old Sears lot. And that was during a weekday well after Christmas and New Year's too. My nickname at work used to be the Mall Rat Haha! I can't wait to discover what new stores are coming and going the next time I return.

Transports you instantly to Shanghai. This large store has all manner of Asian, primarily Chinese works of art, folk art, and furniture. The owner Amy, is a delight. Luban Auction Gallery, owned and managed by Amy Guo, may have the largest and most varied storehouse of Asian, primarily Chinese antiques in the Washington area. That at least has been our experience. We found Luban and Amy by chance in 2018. We had been looking for a significant Buddha image for an honored place under a Bodhi tree in our garden. We searched dozens of places, from upscale garden shops to the Smithsonian, with no success (at any price point) until we happened on Luban in an on-line search. When we reached Rockville and entered the warehouse we were transported to Asia - we found a wonderland of antique furniture, porcelain, bronzes, jade, textiles and more. We also found many Buddhist inspired stone pieces appropriate for gardens. Not only were the works exquisite; Amy offered us extremely attractive pricing and was able to have this very heavy piece delivered to our house! A year later, we returned to pick up two additional pieces for the garden - a carved stone "100 Buddha" pillar, and a pagoda temple. Nowhere else have we found such pieces. In home furnishings Luban has an extraordinary selection of furniture and magnificent porcelain pieces, including lamps. Luban also has some stunning European and American sets of china and porcelain. Amy Guo is very generous in sharing her expertise and time. I could go on. But anyone in the Washington area who is interested in Asian antiques, art, folk art and decorative art needs to visit Luban.

Areas such as the gray market and used/ pre-owned resellers are becoming tempting. But keep in mind there are "more fakes than authentic Rolexs on the market" and currently on the wrists of the super successful in society. An issue that Rolex themselves don't seem to mind!  The Diamond Exchange, a business that claims over 30 years in the industry the price becomes extremely tempting. Best of all is the selection of "Rolex" products on hand: they have various models, years, and designs and at a mere 30-35% above the AD's new MSRP! As ridiculous as that sounds, it can ve extremely tempting when considering the current gray market prices. When entering a business that is asking only 30% MSRP, it easily becomes a viable option (30% is actually on the low end currently). While making my purchase, the seller informed me that Rolex does not keep time very well. This statement should have set off red flags, but unfortunately, it did not at the time. I purchased an extremely well-made Rolex Submariner that was only a couple of years old and still was under warranty according to the certified card included. I was filled with joy. However, that ended when the watch was losing over 20 seconds s a day. I simply dropped the watch off at an authorized dealer for repair in Tysons. I was quoted a jaw-dropping 12-16 week turnaround for the repair. As discouraging as it was to spend thousands of dollars and need repair within a week of purchase, I wanted the quality that I invested in, so off it went. Feeling confident, I left with an empty wrist and voucher. Several weeks later, I received a call from the dealer informing me that my watch was ready for pickup. However, nothing was done as a result of the watch not being authentic. The Rolex Submariner watch. I was sold a FAKE ROLEX! When I inquired what the issue was, the dealer informed me I would need to contact Rolex directly to find out the details. At this point, thousands of dollars were dumped down the drain! My dream watch scenario was quickly morphing into a nightmare situation. Disappointment and shock would be an understatement of the decade! It was equally interesting that the authorized dealer that I brought the watch to wasn't able to tell the item was unauthentic initially. To be exact- a congratulations on my purchase was originally offered only amplifying the sting further. Rolex informed me that the watch was fake and that the Serial Number did not exist in their records. The certified card had all matching information and appropriate markings needed; details discovered during my research. After conducting hours of research and feeling confident about the sellers reputation, I made my purchase, only to be bamboozled in the end. I had become a victim of fraud! A 10-15 year prison sentence at stake I went to return the fake I purchased weeks before. When I entered, the seller claimed not to remember me or the original transaction - more salt I'm the wound. I demanded my money back as I recalled the details of my experience. The owner casually stated, "Of course I'll return the money for your purchase," as he feined shock that the item was fake. In the end, I was sold an extrenely well made high-end clone (1:1 available online). He further explained that he received the watch on trade by a trusted return customer that he would need to "have a talk with." My overall experience was absolutely traumatizing. The transaction was horrible and I would not recommend conducting business with the Diamond Exchange when purchasing a Rolex line product unless of course you are willing to spin the wheel and become another mark to pad the pockets of shady business practices. Simply having a store front does not make you reputable. It is integrity and business practices those of which are clearly lacking at the Diamond Exchange.
