Fridge arrived damaged. In spite of assurance, it remains unsolved after three months.

The refrigerator arrived damaged. When contacted, Dan the salesman, and Mark the store manager said we will fix it. After more than three months and almost 50 text messages and calls, it remains as-is. They say we will call you back with updates but never call back. Plus, Mark the store manager changes his voice and impersonates someone else when you call for the follow-up. Stay away from the store - especially the mentioned individuals.

The only star I'm providing is for our sales person and Jerome who helped us with dispatch. Our delivery was a nightmare and despite paying in full for our order--it has still not arrived. Simply put, due to COVID and our high-risk family members (one of which is an infant) and noticing that one of the delivery people was wearing a thin cloth mask, we had requested the delivery team wear an additional surgical mask (that we provided). It sucks we live in times where we have to be cautious but we do. While one member (the younger man) was willing to comply. His partner flat out refused being as "he thinks it'll limit his oxygen" I reassured these people that I am a healthcare professional 1. Surgical Masks don't limit oxygen levels and 2. I had a pulse oximeter on hand if the partner wanted to check his saturation levels. I am not one to judge being as there is all types of misinformation but we were shocked. It is the obligation of the company to educate their workers and provide adequate PPE and customer service during these hard times. To continue, The partner said he still refused to wear a mask and "I'll turn around" in Spanish. The young man said, "hold up hold up, I don't want to be asshole. I need to speak to my boss" and then the two of them packed up and attempted to leave without even telling us (I guess these delivery drivers don't have a contract obligation to fulfill?) My husband had to dash out the door to confirm they were leaving. When we called the company to follow up and explain our rationale, Jerome reassured us that the delivery drivers shouldn't have done that, and that he would make sure that the fridge would be delivered today. We are outside of our delivery window, my husband needs to go back to work as we already rearranged our day for the 3-4 hour delivery window, and we're not even sure where to go from here. Hopefully someone in customer service aside from Jerome can help turn this situation around. Avoid this company like...well, you get the idea. Update: we got our fridge about 5 hours later. Delivery drivers wore masks inside but removed them while assembling fridge outside.

    Seam for quartz countertops
    Lynn S.

Everyone was wearing a mask at the store- which was great. We got all appliances ordered- that was great. Then we were told that the microwave might not fit after everything was measured- not once but about 4 times. I am not sure why it took so many times. After they told me this they said we might have to move the cabinets- I said definitely not. Luckily the microwave did fit. All appliances look great installed. We had the countertops done also. Measured about 4 times for this also. Not sure why. I am not happy with the seam on the quartz countertop. I think,it could have been a little better. One one part of the seam it is higher than the other. You can definitely see it. Part of the seam is great- can't even tell there is a seam. Called to ask about it and was told this was the best they could do. So I am very disappointed in this response. I don't think I would recommend Bray and Scarff to anyone. I thought the process would have been smoother with the company doing all appliances and countertops. But I thought it was very disorganized when they sent out 4 different people to measure. I would have thought the guy with the laser measure would have had everything all done right but they sent someone out after him. I think it would have gone better going through a contractor at this point. But it's done and it will have to stay this way.

When the fridge arrived, even though we said that there was no existing line when booking AND PAYING FOR installation, the delivery guys informed me that they didn't know how to do it, they just deliver. Not their fault. The dishwasher was delayed "a few days." It's been over 5 weeks, the dishwasher was almost delivered yesterday but even though AGAIN it was in the order that it was a new install, the guy only knew how to put a dishwasher in where one previously existed. Again, it's not his fault that the dispatcher screwed up. He did inform me that a separate electric line needed to be run from the breaker box That'd cost extra. Both are reasonable. The quote came back EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! After ~7 weeks of waiting for the dishwasher and the company having all the pertinent information, really?!?! I will say that there was one sales rep I spoke with in the store that was beyond helpful. I think his name was Siddiq? He went out of his way to be helpful and correct the issues Pacific had accrued to that point. Literally, he is the only bright light in our dealings with this company and even still, we were there to deal with the lack of fridge installation and the dishwasher that had been delayed by a couple days, to a couple months, to almost 2 months! Stay away. There are so many places to get appliances. Even 0% apr over 18 months isn't worth a fraction of the crap we've dealt with. I tried to leave no stars, but Siddiq:that one star is for you. Thanks!

On the scheduled delivery and install date, no one showed up or even gave us a call and I took off work! I call them asking for a status, and no one can give me an answer. The system reschedules the visit a couple business days later without even consulting with me on whether it was a good time. People show up up with the appliance, but no one shows up to do the installation. Ultimately we had to reschedule the install 3 times, and the 3rd time they brought an extra appliance. I was told I would get a call from the manager, and I have gotten nothing back for all of this missed time and horrible service. I suppose the customer's time isn't important to these folks. This is the worst customer experience I have had with any company, of any kind. Go to Home Depot, Lowes, Sears or anywhere else you can possible go for appliances and avoid the suffering!

He saw my government badge, and called me by my last name "Mr Miller." Mr Gursimar, welcomed me to the back of the store, where refrigerators are kept and sold. There he asked what I was looking for: Make / Brand / Model / Cost. I informed him of my current fridge's measurements; and showed him a photo of its dimensions. He then validated the one I wished to purchase. Mr Gursimar went over the the mathematics twice, to verify that it would fit properly in my home. Mr Gursimar asked my address and what kind of house I lived in. We then set a date for delivery, and the disposal of my old refrigerators. Afterwards, he went over everything I needed to know and then walked me through the buying process. Mr Gursimar made it fun and easy to purchase our new fridge! He explained the receipt to me and made sure I understood it. Mr Gursimar highlighted with a pen, all of the important notes on the receipt: Day / date of delivery, "two haul a ways," and water hookup. Due to Mr Gursimar expertise, I purchased what I needed for about $2400 (round #) and I was in and out in about fifteen minutes. He's the best! And I applaud his impeccable service. We had decided on some of the appliances we wanted to buy (Wolf induction range and steam oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator) and visited the ADA showplace in Gaithersburg on several occasions to decide on sizes and other appliances we needed. We ended up buying all of our kitchen appliances at ADU; this turned out to be efficient and a lifesaver when we had a size issue with the microwave drawer and needed to switch it out for a different model that fit better in the island cabinet. ADU carries a wide selection of quality appliance options and offers some discounting as well. I could not have imagined getting 7 appliances at 7 different places, managing those deliveries and schedules, and so on. We ended up working primarily with Kyle Gladden over the seven-month process from planning to complete installation. He showed us various appliance options, answered questions, and worked through many details over the months. Going with ADU was the best approach for us as Kyle knew the big picture of what we were trying to accomplish and when, and it simplified deliveries, asking questions, and making changes. Kyle is pleasant, professional, responsive and very easy to work and communicate with. When you are undertaking such a big project you need to work with pleasant people who can help you get the job done! It's a necessity! On occasions when Kyle was out, we could easily reach someone else who could help us in the office. Everyone we encountered in the office and the phone was pleasant, knowledgeable, not pushy, and responsive. We're happy to recommend ADU (and Kyle) for new appliances.

All showcase quality IMO. Thus, we've plenty of recent experience with KBS outfit and feel confident in making the highest recommendation. In summary - KBS is not too big nor too small, not too expensive but not cheap, so they were just right for us - average homeowners who seek the very best value. In this regard, KBS was just right. Some highlights........ 1) The crew is experienced and cohesive. They've been together for a good long time. They work well together and we never observed inefficiency. They just work hard all day long. 2) I never had to worry about workers in our home. Honest, polite, professional, kind, and responsive are words I'd use to describe them. 3) Communications were timely and valuable. My advice is to take notes of every communication for reference. In one case we forgot it was our responsibility to acquire an appliance. Uh oh, it was our fault and a written record would have been useful to refer to. Yikes! 4) The budget estimates were honored. there was no bait and switch. Prices were transparent to us. 5) We enjoyed reviewing recommended selections of cabinets, floor, hardware, appliances, sinks etc. Today, we feel somewhat knowledgeable with KBS as our tutors. 6) Cleanup and construction debris was timely. Thanks! 7) The crew was OK with our two dogs. I think our doggies missed them when the jobs were done. Final note: The sign of a great contractor is NOT that nothing goes wrong. Rather it is how the contractor responds when something does go wrong. In this regard, KBS took care of problems I was not even aware of, and when I was, they swarmed to make it right ASAP. For example, a quartz kitchen countertop cracked. Surprised. The piece was faulty. The crack was not due to poor installation. We only had to make one call to Dan who took care of it. Easy peasy. No hassles or haggles about responsibility or cost. Perfect. I've a few more impressive examples. So the more work we observed, the more confident we became in KBS. In my life "trust" is earned and hard to achieve in the contracting world. So, it is with pleasure to say KBS was trusted. We'd hire them again whenever we have a future need. Simply excellent!

This was a big project and from the moment we met with Dan, we knew we wanted to work with him. He helped us redesign our first floor (including kitchen and bathroom), meeting with us multiple times to come up with a design that worked for our needs. He helped us figure out what materials and design elements worked for our home, really going above and beyond to help us make a lot of decisions. His experience meant that he was able to take our vision of what we wanted our home to be and turn it into reality. The actual project itself could not have gone better. The crew was phenomenal. Their attention to detail and quality of work was exquisite. We did not run into a single issue for this entire project and the final result massively exceeded our expectations. AND it finished ahead of schedule! We HIGHLY recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio. Dan and his crew were wonderful to work with and the quality of their work is exceptional.
