The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. An admirable work ethic and knowledgeable work skills to finish the job properly.

The best part the lumber was paid for by the guy he was helping. I was in the building when the guy came in to pay for the lumber and I asked him why he paid for it after the guy was fired. He stated that the guy called or was called by his supervisor about taking some lumber destined for the scrap pile and was told not to worry about it but that he chimed in and said he would be out Wednesday to pay for it. The supervisor said not to worry about it. They just needed a couple of 2x4's to finish up so the neighbor could be taken to a doctors appointment the next morning. Just goes to show you how big egos get in the way of compassion. I'll refuse to support this company from now on.

The first time working with this business was attempting to get windows for my home. A salesman came to my home and did measurements and I was provided quotes and information. I called these people to purchase the windows and no one ever returned calls or responded. Eventually I did get the windows but since the turn around time for a response was so bad the cost had gone up. To the businesses credit, they did eat the cost but this is no way to run a business. For the past few months I have been trying to get a quote on a door, once again no response, no follow up and we have been through two different sales representatives. We have had to describe to the second sales rep what was needed and what we were looking for after meeting with the first sales rep so there is no communication in their office.. Stay as far away from these people as you can, they are useless and are the WORST. As a follow up the owner did promptly call after this post and was willing to remedy any issues that were encountered. This was greatly appreciated
