Our countertop journey started and We ended up going with Rock Solid. I went and met with Amy and…read morewe looked over the warehouse and I did not see anything that popped out at me. I wanted granite only. She then sent us over to her supplier, Rock Point in Morrisville. My spouse and I went to Rock Point to pick out our slab of granite a few weeks ago. We chose Fantasy Brown. Crystal pointed it out and stated it was a granite. So we choose that. It was a beautiful piece. The day of installation I went on a DIY group on FB and commented on a post and posted a picture of my "granite" We picked. Another person commented stating the granite company she is using told her it was quartz. This lead me to do my own research. I then saw it was a marble. It is a beautiful piece, but I'm very disappointed that I was told it was granite. I specifically told her I did not want marble or quartz because we are very hard on them. I pointed out one I liked at the front and she stated..that's marble, I know you said you do not want that. So, we keep moving along to the back. Honestly, I am pissed that I have a slab of marble in my kitchen that I'm scared to even touch vs what I requested, granite. We will need 2 slabs for our bathrooms, but will not get them from Rock Point or ever refer anyone to them. We had already paid half down and the marble had already been cut so, we are stuck with them. We couldn't afford to pay for the marble and then go buy granite so we could have granite like we wanted in the first place. Edit: after research I see Fantasy Brown is very controversial. Is it Granite, Quartz, or Marble!? It looks like different vendors label it what they "think" it is. I looked at Rock Point shipping and receiving papers and even on those papers it is labeled as Marble, so I am not sure why she is saying it's a granite. It is a Marble, but a harder version. Rock Point should know this and not mislabel it. I never received any apologies, reimbursement of any sort. Just an unhappy customer with 2 scratches and a chip from installation on my "marble". When talking back and forth to Amy, the communications terrible. Sometimes weeks to get an apply and that's with me bugging the mess out of her.

TLDR: you probably do want to read #6. Overall I got the floor I wanted but was completely…read moredisrespected and it wasn't done within the time frame told to me. Don't recommend at all. Job was my entire downstairs area, about 500sq ft swapping carpet to LVP 1. We had an appointment for about a month ahead of time and then a week before we were told we would have to reschedule it to a later date, therefore causing me to call out of work the first day. Both my boyfriend and I needed to be off and present to move anything they wouldn't be willing to move, we have animals and tanks. 2. They were almost half an hour late the first day. 3. He said that he would have a whole team of people coming in and getting this done probably within one day. The people that showed up were Bill along with one guy and his son who looks to be about 14. Meanwhile Bill has actually left and never really helped so it is just Danilo and his son who were respectful and hardworking. Honestly this whole review is not even about Danilo, he did his job. It's mostly about Bill's business practices and horrible service. 4. Not finishing within a day even though Bill did the estimate himself and knew how much furniture we have. His reason was there is a lot of patching but still if he had an actual team of atleast 2-3 full grown people it wouldn't have been a problem. I had to call out, instead of just one day became two days because he didn't have enough manpower to do my job within the timeframe he said even after HE had to reschedule ME. 5. Bill then told me that I don't have to call out of work because it's OK if I leave my house completely unlocked and open even though I am literally in a condo with many people I don't know coming in and out of the neighborhood, I have three cats that are upstairs locked up and could possibly get loose, and his reasoning was that he's worked with Danilo for years and that he has INSURANCE. I really wanted to ask Bill, do you leave your house open for anyone to just walk into while no one is present? Brushing me off again. Why would I feel comfortable leaving my house open with that attitude? ***6. My MAIN complaint and reason for the rating: Bill was extremely rude, when he first walked in he basically said that he thought half of the items would be upstairs. I don't know how he expected that when we don't have that much space to begin with and had to live in the unit. During the estimate he said it wouldn't be a problem. We were able to move everything to his expectations in 20 mins. After he said there was patching and a lot of stuff (which he knew about) to move I reflected that he said during the estimate that he would have done it within a day. He then straight up told me "you aren't listening to me." As if I was stupid and brushing me off. Sorry Bill that you originally said it was a pretty small area and you'd be done pretty fast. On top of the inconvenience of me having to call out two days in a row, which you knew. You had no respect and walked all over me while expecting your "team" to do your entire job. I really hope that people see this review and decide to not work with you Bill. It's really disappointing because Dot, the secretary and Danilo were both decent people but you ruin the entire experience.

Flooring Plus did a fantastic job refinishing the solid wood floors of our 1935 home. Chris and…read moreBrian were professional and customized a personal flooring solution to our complex flooring needs. We had old wood that needed refinishing, missing wood (under old carpets) that needed to be matched and a laundry room that needed a waterproof flooring solution. There were some tough transitions that Brian and his team were able to work miracles on. The floors look amazing. Best part was that Flooring Plus took care of all the logistical details and made it so easy. We went on vacation for a few days and Flooring Plus moved all the furniture, removed carpet, made repairs, installed new wood, refinished the old and created seamless transitions throughout. The team even made sure the cats were taken care of during the process. I would definitely recommend Flooring Plus for their personal service, custom solutions, and quality results.

Stay away from this company when ordering cabinets. Tried to get them out at my house to fix a…read morecabinet door after a little after 1 year and they just kept giving me BS. They would not come out to look at the cabinet and there apparently is NO warranty on the cabinets, so you are better off going with a more reputable company. Someone that stands by their product. Instead of trying to resolve the problem and make suggestions like any other company would do they just said that the cabinets that they sold were cheap. This was not what was said when I purchased the cabinets. Had a very bad experience and they came across as they DO NOT CARE. The conversation started out by they would send someone out then it led to not sending someone out that there would be an extra charge and I asked how much and they said they would have to look at it. Then the conversation led to they sell cheap cabinets and apparently there is no warranty. They do not know their product line like most companies would. I am going to report this to the BBB as I am tired of companies promising everything when you buy and later when you have an issue NOT ACTING OR NOT CARING.
