We recently worked with Robbie to replace a GE Monogram series microwave. After sharing the…read moremeasurements and photos Robbie recommended a model and said that we need to additionally order a drawer as the new model was shorter. When the electricians came to install it they found that the new model was too deep for the space but were able to remove some wood and Sheetrock to make it work. They never took the drawer out of the box because the electrician said " I can do math and this drawer is too big to fit." Robbie refused to take the drawer back even though it was his mistake. He later said that GE refused to take it back in a sealed never opened box. Why should the customer have to pay for Robbie's mistake? I told my contractor not to ever use Kitchen and Bath Galleries again!

Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the office staff coordinating the project. We were shown one piece of stone for our countertop which we rejected and removed the countertop from their scope of work. They ordered a clear annealed glass window when the materials list and building code required a frosted tempered glass window in this location. It took nearly 6 months for the proper window to be installed.

But almost immediately afterward, the cabinets started bubbling and peeling--despite the owner claiming they were solid maple. I reached out to the owner repeatedly, and he ignored every single message. Only after dragging my contractor into (Reno-Pro) it did he finally bother to call me back. His excuse? That the damage was my fault because the cabinets are supposedly only meant to be cleaned with a dry cloth. If that's truly the case, why on earth would he recommend them for a kitchen? And why did he originally tell me they were solid wood? After several attempts to get answers--plus leaving a negative review--he reluctantly replaced a few doors. He even showed up with his secretary, who parroted his claims despite never being part of any previous conversation. A year later, the exact same problems are back. The cabinets are bubbling everywhere: top, bottom, sides--you name it. The quality is absolutely unacceptable. If these cabinets can't withstand basic, minimal cleaning, the owner should have been honest from the start. I would have gladly paid more upfront instead of now facing the cost of replacing my entire kitchen. This company is interested only in making a sale, not in providing a product that lasts. Save yourself the headache. Do not support this business. You get what you pay for--and in this case, what you get is complete garbage.

So what brought on this 5-star review all-of-a-sudden, you ask? Well, about two months ago, the floor pan (also plastic) started to bubble up. After calling, one of the Bryton crew came out and found that it was "de-laminating". He told us that it was all good since it was warranted for Life! To make a longer story short.. the guys were out within a few weeks, ripped out the entire shower, and installed a brand new replacement. And they did all of this with a big smile on their faces, as if they were really happy to have us as customers! Needless to say, we no longer feel so bad about the initial cost. I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars updating a variety of homes, beach condos, etc. Love the variety of high-quality products, love the pricing, but one thing that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (that I always! complain about when I'm at the store) is where they put the almost impossible to remove price stickers. Candles-smack on the side of the jar instead of on the bottom. Platters, glassware, the list goes on and on. Here's a picture of a platter I recently bought for Christmas that I ended up bagging using because I didn't have enough time to deal with the sticker. Tonight, I'm having a dinner party so I decided to take it off. I have nail polish on, so can't use nail polish remover-and wanted to avoid having to soak this for hours, but I can't even get it off with a razor blade or a very sharp sharp knife. Ridiculous! Nobody's gonna be stealing things out of the store if the stickers are put in the bottom in an unobtruse location (where you're not having to deal with trying to remove it immediately unless you're giving it as a gift, almost killing or slicing yourself yourself in the process as-I did with this knife because it keeps slipping across the platter as I try to scrape the DAMN sticker off! Incredibly frustrating. I've given this feedback SO many times yet nothing ever changes, but it's probably because I'm giving it to the people ringing me out and they don't give a crap! I own a cat and never ever is there enough cat related items. I am disappointed the pet section is dedicated dog with part of 1 asile for cats and little to choose from. My favorite part of the store is the kitchen section. I always find things I love there, especially the Rae Dunn products. My one issue with kitchen section is they don't have kitchen scales. It seems they have everything but. Everytime I have gone there I have looked (and not just this HomeGoods). This particular store is clean, not overcrowded (even in the holiday season) and has plenty of products. Rarely do I leave there without something in a bag! The check out clerk at my visit on 12/21/22 was the best. She was friendly, helpful, and fast.

John was helpful throughout the process and gave thoughtful advice. We were originally going to replace all of our carpet upstairs but John suggested we replace only the hallway carpet with hardwood and keep most of our original carpet since it was in good shape. This was cheaper, looks much better, and gives us more flexibility in the future. He also worked with us to match our existing hardwood floors (during a supply shortage no less!) and secured some of the last available boxes of what was needed. Miguel and the installation team were great. They did the entire job in two days. They were able to weave the existing floor with the new one and you can't tell where the transitions are. The carpet install was seamless and looks phenomenal. After they left I noticed a few chipped boards. I let them know and they said they'd fix them. It took a few months to get them back onsite given their schedule, but when they did the boards were replaced and everything was touched up as requested. They were responsive throughout the process, patient, did great work, and were pleasure to work with.
