The person in the store was unauthorized to make a sale without consulting the owner. They assured a call back. Days past and I called them and finally got a callback a week later. We agreed on terms and I got an install scheduled for July 20. Installer (owner) arrives gets the old machine out and new one installed to test. Error code comes up that could not be resolved. I inquired about other options but everything was sold. The only diagnosis was an error code indicating to contact whirlpool. A week later we had a service person come to perform a warranty repair. They needed to order a kill switch. It took over 3 weeks to get the part. They come back to install and it is missing a $2 bracket to install the switch. 11 days later we have a working dishwasher. We were without a dishwasher for about 2 months. The savings was not worth washing a lot of dishes by hand for 2 months. Also if we bought at a big box store they would have replaced the unit much sooner. I did also inquire about an additional discount for my trouble, but only received snide remarks from Christina. Needless to say buyer beware. If you want an unprofessional amateur experience then discount appliance is the store for you.

Twice recently I've been to The Home Depot to purchase lock sets. The trips were for two different purposes and on each occasion, Scott did a superb job helping me. I was so pleased when I walked away today that I could have hugged him. Here's how awesome he was today: I needed to look at upgrading my deadbolt and some other exterior locks. Apparently, the deadbolt didn't need to be upgraded. He taught me all about the inner workings of my smart-lock deadbolt and even threw me some extra spare keys they're overstocked with and the department doesn't need. Our conversation was informative, helpful, and personable. He also taught me about general smart lock doors and demonstrated how I could use and re-key each of them. Seriously, above and beyond. This location also hosts free workshops. Examples: Menu Board, Easy Bath Updates, and making other home decor. Did you read that? They are FREE. So for someone like me who likes to do it myself, but doesn't always know how, I can learn for free and not ruin all my walls through trial and error. Finally, I recently got in-home estimates for upgrading my windows. I was going to go with Lowe's -- they're actually cheaper, but the Home Depot service was better all around. I've had the estimates and inspections and will not be doing the installation immediately, but now that I'm so impressed by how Home Depot's staff literally explained the whole project management process and has a great digital system for communicating to the customer, HD is where I'll go when I'm ready. Thanks for helping me #Adult and feel good about it.

This is a no frills place, but don't let that deter you! I was surprised by the selection they had and they were definitely competitively priced. Upon seeing a sectional I liked, Ronnie was super helpful in answering any questions I had. He had me pull up a virtual view of my apartment so he could see the layout and if my selections would fit. He even suggested a left-side chaise which would fit better in my apartment. Once I decided on a couch, I feared I would have to wait weeks for delivery, but Ronnie said they would have it to me by Saturday (I bought it on a Thursday). The delivery guys were early and they called before they arrived, set up the couch in about 5 minutes and took all the trash with them. I would 100% recommend RDF to anyone looking for some quality pieces for their home.

I hired K Alexander Kitchen and Bath Designers to renovate my kitchen. I had formica Laminates but wanted to update my counters to Quartz. I'd interviewed other companies but thought with a design firm, it would be less stress, a one-stop shop, and they would do the heavy work for me. I've not had the best success with renovations. Being a single female, it is common knowledge that we are usually victims of predators, and for those experiences, I don't go half-cocked but try to be as informed as possible. Even doing due diligence, I still found myself in a 4 month nightmare. They subcontracted with Natural Gallery Stone Kitchen and Bath, and it was an absolute nightmare. I expressed strongly to them that I was having Ankle replacement surgery September 3 and wanted to have it done prior. We discussed this in the latter part of April and began in May. I have been without a working kitchen since then. It wasn't money because I paid upfront and in full. Natural Gallery took their sweet time. The fabrication was terrible, the hole for the faucet wasn't centered and the stone's sheen was inconsistent. It was a high gloss stone but the fabrication caused matte, rough and inconsistent textures. Not to belabor the problem but I was so stressed that I became ill. I thought that I would still be without counters, a sink or a finished product that it flared my Lupus. I was washing my dishes in the bathroom. I literally prayed and was directed to The Countertop Factory. I'd just left a company on Glenwood Ave that I was unavailable, detached, and wouldn't return calls. I sat in a gas station parking lot crying. I Googled Countertop installers, and right down the street is The Countertop Factory! I spoke to a lovely person named Haven. Haven was empathetic and kind. I met with her the very day. I was shown stone and different edges. I also met Nick and Erick. We came up with a game plan. Within 2 weeks of my initial meeting, I have a beautiful kitchen that I'd still be waiting for with the other company. Chris and Michael came today and meticulously installed the cabinets. Every effort to detail was met. Wes is a supervisor. He is direct but considerate. I was so nervous about the job but he promised to take care of me and he did just that. It I'd hard to find companies that care. Workmanship, craftsmanship, and pride are a thing of the past in most cases, but I was blessed to have found a company that puts their customers first, and their reputation for excellence is well earned. The cost is worth every penny because you get what you pay for. If it seems like I am gushing, it is because I am. I highly recommend them! I appreciate everything that this company and the staff has done for me.

My kitchen sink fell after only being in this new house less than 3 years. Pulte would not cover any repairs and told me to contact the Countertop Factory who installed my countertop and sink. Of course, I was leery of using them to fix the problem. I have owned 3 newly built houses in my lifetime and have never seen a sink fall. I hired a different company to reinstall the sink. I contacted Eric at Countertop and sent him pictures and told him I was having a different company reinstall the sink. Eric contacted the owner and Countertop agreed to pay all my expenses in reinstalling the sink and reconnecting the plumbing. All I can say is the company did the right thing for me. Give them a chance.
