New wall for private water closet with Pocket door

The Bath Shop renovated our Master bathroom and it turned out amazing. Worked through a design that we loved and the designer helped us hand pick materials and manage a budget. Once the plan was finalized and the materials were all selected, we set a date to start which was within few weeks. Project was done quickly and all folks we interacted with were happy to explain every step of the way what was going on. The different people in and out of the house were respectful of our belongings and almost always wearing a mask. Overall was a great experience and would highly recommend them for remodeling.

Wow! Thats a good start to this review. We are so very happy with our beautiful remodeled bathroom. We were very impressed with both the design stage and construction. Stephanie was our designer/estimator and she met with us a number of times and her recommended design was right on. She was able to stay within our stated budget with high quality finishes and fixtures. The process did allow for changes early and we really appreciated getting detailed cost estimates after every change. We were able to add or remove items as needed by design or cost considerations. The construction crew was lead by Robbie. Robbie would call or text every evening to let us know when they would arrive the next day. That was awesome. We have never had contractors be that considerate! His brother Chris is the master tile expert and the rest of the crew consisted of 6-7 highly skilled workers in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, drywall, tile, grouting and work site preparation and cleanup. They all considered themselves as a "family" and took pride on all aspects of the work. The result was awesome converting our tired 90's bathroom into something we can be proud of! We would HIGHLY recommend the Bath Shop!!!

We just had a complete bathroom renovation done with the removal of our bathtub & installation of a large shower & closet, new cabinets, toilet, mirrors, etc. The work was beautifully done with a professional team led by Robbie. Demolition was fast & work proceeded quickly. Chris & Willie were expert tilers making the herringbone design look easy. All the workers were polite, extremely neat, & prompt. Jason was very accommodating & checked on the work being done. The bathroom exceeded our expectations. It is a work of art.

The finishes are beautiful! Design ideas were innovative and solved some issues for us with our original house design.

I called after your visit, but you didn't answer, so I left a vm and text. Later in April, I called you and you answered that time. I asked about the estimate. You said that Danae had gotten my online inquiry and that she'd get back with. I stated that I wasn't trying to rush you and was patient because I want you to do the work. I reminded you that you said, "2 to 3 days (April 14) but it wasn't until April 24 that I got a concrete answer that you will not be doing the job. My contention isn't that you can't do the job, but that I wasn't given the courtesy to tell me that you weren't interested in providing the estimate nor would be able to do the job. If I hadn't called or inquired, I would never have gotten an answer at all. How could I give you a higher rating? You only came to look at the project. I can't grade you on quality, service or promptness because I have no reference point to go by. My review isn't harsh but simply stated as it happened. Danae seems to be the person who makes the decisions on which jobs to take. Maybe a conversation she be had with her if you don't want more reviews like mine.

I hired Greg to renovate a half bath that had a toilet that leaked, damaging the sub floor and…read morehardwoods in the hall. The first red flag was Greg's cartoonish quote for work. Greg is a smooth talker and made it seem like it would all be good. He said payment would be due upon completion although there was no mention of this in the "contract." Turns out "Remove vanity and install custom vanity" means ripping out the large existing vanity, sink, and huge mirror and then popping down the pedestal sink THAT I BOUGHT. Period. Red flag #2: When I asked Greg about the massive drywall damage, he said "Is it in the contract?" The agreement does say he does not cover drywall repair, but this was literally left in a demo state. On Day 2, while the entire floor was ripped up with the crawlspace exposed, Greg asked me for a check. I said I planned to pay him with a credit card and it would take me a few days to move money around to give him the equivalent of cash. Day 3 he walked off the job claiming non-payment. After I calmly explained that I could not be in non-payment because no payment was due, Greg came back the next day like nothing happened... All of the insulations under the half bath was wet so it had to go. Greg did not want anything to do with replacing it. I went out and bought insulation and installed it myself. Either Greg or his plumber, Drew, cracked the first sink basin during install. Luckily Home Depot replaced it with no questions and Drew came back and installed the new one. Drew was actually great. I did all of the leg work for the return, so don't expect Greg to actually stand by his work or take responsibility for mistakes. Greg made it clear he does not do hardwood floor repair and I was fine with that. Turns out, my hardwood flooring guy discovered that there was a strange strip of plywood sub floor installed to fill a gap that was not actually supported. We found out why when he pulled it up. See photos. Don't expect structural repairs to actually connect to other structural members. Don't expect your tile OR subfloor to be level or flat. Don't expect a professional job.

I contacted NHRC and Greg came out the next day for a consultation. He quoted me a price that I thought was very good for the entire bathroom remodel. Greg and his other worker were very efficient and even though we ran into a few issues (old plumbing and uneven walls), Greg was able to troubleshoot the issues and did a fantastic job with this renovation. As you can see from the photos, the bathroom turned out beautifully! I'm very happy with the results. Greg did such a great job. I will be contacting him for future renovations. I highly recommend NHRC and Greg's remodeling services!
