She told me someone would meet me there. I waited 10 minutes and nobody came. While waiting I saw multiple people walk in and get assistance. My purchase was only $50, I'm sure they don't care about lost business BUT it will be a long time before I return to an ACE location ANYWHERE! They have turned into Home Depot, plenty of people working but nobody taking care of business!

I got two rain ponchos one for me and one for the dude. Since he was injured I wanted to make sure it would be a really good one as I don't want him to slip and fall. Anywho, I arrived around the start of the morning when they opened and there was a decent amount of people inside. The workers were nice , very young and appeared to be goofing off mostly to the music that was playing...I don't blame them xD the music was I interesting couldn't help but to smile. Happy to see employees enjoying the job! It's refreshing. I did need assistance finding a few items as I am doing a patio remodeling job and got a few items for that as well. The garden center is LIFE it was pouring raining so I didn't have the time to check it out in-depth but I wanted to but next time. The store was clean, organized and had everything I needed. Overall, I would return ! Wish we had one in my hometown ! The rain coats did it's job and I currently still use it on rainy days when I'm at work! He rebuked my mother for nothing more than entering the store to make a purchase. He inappropriately questioned and accused them of entering the store as if they forced their way in through the security gate. He told them, "Who the hell do you think you are, coming into my store? You forced those doors open!" In reality, the door was unlocked, the security gate was open, and the lighted open sign was on. When my parents insisted they had done nothing of the sort, this employee continued to berate them. He was mistaken, and absolutely terrorized my poor mother instead of simply acknowledging his mistake. To add insult to injury, they weren't even the only customers or employees in the store! I was astounded upon hearing of this terrible experience from my family. This is no way to behave in front of customers, let alone speaking directly to them so disrespectfully and inappropriately. Especially to an older woman. One of the other employees had to apologize to my parents on behalf of this employee. Absolutely beyond inappropriate behavior from the employee, whose name is ADAM. I understand being concerned about security when operating a business on a busy thoroughfare, but it in no way justifies treating decent people so poorly. I'm concerned that as long as Adam works at Rockler in Concord, customers will be subjected to a painful experience. Beware.

I've done so many house projects confidently because of the staff members that work here. I've replaced extremely old cabinets, fixed my irrigation system, learned how to remove a medicine cabinet and repair the hole. I needed specific help with rain gutters, large painting projects. Gardening advice! So many projects and I am always given all the tools I need to complete the project perfectly. Down to the finest details. It's super impressive! So, you can't actually look at anything, you have to call someone just to do that. This is a huge pet peeve and just irritates customers. I guess the problem is retail theft. However, the gracious, upbeat Medium Bob tells me bring it back to return, they can look up the transaction, we can get the 25-foot hose. Wahoo! He walked to the back and patiently looked through to what came close to mine. He knew which ones to get prior to reaching the drawers. I ran to the front and got rung up. Best .39 cents plus tax I've spent. I didn't realize this store closes at 8 pm. I appreciate his kindness and willingness to help me despite closing time. The crew together with Ron all stayed a few minutes behind for me (well past closing time) and I really appreciated that as I'm sure they all just wanted to get out of there and go home. I really needed that too, my tail light was loose and I had just seen it was missing not too long before I drove over to Ace Hardware. Thank you so much Ron for helping me out.

Still nothing after 1 hr. I gave up and proceeded to check out when a very nice man named John asked if I needed help. He took the time not only to do research on the lightbulb in question but also said that I had found the right one and plugged my lamp in to make sure it worked. Jeez! All in all, I absolutely recommend this location of Lowe's, especially over the nearby Home Depot.

But Justin and the crew always helped me find just the right thing -- even when I didn't know what it was called! They have a great inventory, and I love that they also carry premium drill bits and Diablo saw blades. If you need any sort of fastener, I'd go here before ever heading to a general hardware store.
