It was suggested that I try Graeter's Ice Cream and being 17 degrees today, I was surprised that they were doing business, but they were! It is obviously an obsession in these parts and rightfully so. The offer you tastes of however many flavors you want and I settled on the Coconut chip. WOW creamy goodness. You can not do better than this delicious, SUPER creamy ice cream! The decor is charming and the staff is friendly. I would recommend the strawberry cheesecake but by hubby would say you have to go for the chocolate chip cookie dough. I would say either way you won't be disappointed! read more

We began calling this our favorite when my first nephew was born. We lived near Graeters, and it was the perfect go to place for winding down the evenings. We appreciate the warm personal greetings of the employees at this location. Really it's the employees who make the customer happy (or not). Meh. I don't get the hype. The ice cream is ok - but tastes greasy to me. This store was recently renovated and taken back over by corporate (rather than a franchisee) and I really don't like it. Yes - its cleaner than before but its lost the local feel and experience to it and is over-done in my opinion. Really, the only reason I go to Graeter's is because its closer to me than Aglamesis. read more

Always a fun experience at this Graeter's. It is right down the road from us so we've been here a few times. The staff is nice and there is a drive-through. Last time we got a pint of the black raspberry chip to go! Why not? It's the same price as you would find in a Kroger's. read more

Given it was my first time at Graeter's, I had to try their most popular flavor: Raspberry chocolate chip. The girl working behind the counter offered to let me sample different flavors, but after sampling the raspberry chocolate chip, I was sold (that, and I didn't want to be a "sample abuser" (couldn't help but include the Curb Your Enthusiasm reference)). Now that there are several Indianapolis-area locations, I'm going to make a point to go try some of their other flavors. read more

Best ice cream ever! The pints are now sold everywhere in the country if you are out of state. Black raspberry chip is a must. The bakery is also fabulous with great pies, cookies and cakes. Not sure why the northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area hypes this place so much. The ice cream is good. Nothing great. The prices are extremely high for the product they deliver. You can get a better product from a gas station. I would recommend UDF over Graeters any day. read more

By far, the best ice cream I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying! Now a resident of Richmond, VA, I have to settle for the pints available for sale at east coast Kroger locations. (Absolutely LOVE the new gelato line from Graeter's available at Kroger, especially the salted caramel dark chocolate truffle) However, while visiting family in NKY this summer, I was sure to bring my husband and children to this location for excellent service and an excellent product! Before today I had no complaints about them. My daughter got a sweatshirt for a Christmas gift. It had a small hole and some seam issues on one side. I went to return it and just get a different one. I grabbed the last XLG and looked at it before I swapped it out. It had loose (about to come out) seams in the under arm area. I took it up to the register and let them know. I was told I would NOT be given cash for it since I didn't have a receipt, which wasn't an issue, but they also refused to even give me store credit. The woman Karen (acting like she was the boss of everything, but her name tag didn't say manager or even assistant manager), suggested we get a large - which was not the size that was gotten for her. We found yet another shirt with stitching issues, ALL of which she put back on the floor to sell. I was refused a store credit. I used to be a retail manager, and I would NEVER have acted like that woman did. I guess "The customer is always right" is something they haven't heard of. I will no longer give them my business, and I suggest no one buys any merchandise from them. I'm going to let corporate know how abrasive their employee was too. read more
