Took my granddaughter here as an after school treat. I got the blueberry honey cornbread scoop and my granddaughter got a cone with cookies and cream. It totaled $14!!!! For just two scoops!!! Wow! I was shocked. But we dug into the ice cream with excitement. I was not impressed. It was cloyingly sweet and I couldn't really taste any blackberry. Great ice cream. But I would love to see them selling some sugar free options. Cant complain, but, cant go as often as I would if they would take better care of Americans with sugar free ice cream options. They make healthy Monkfruit, Allulose, and even Stevia. Not rocket science, get with the program. America has a health problem, mostly due to sugar. Monkfruit tastes EXACTLY the same. Great business, but could be my all time fav. Expensive. There was 2 of us my order was made really well. My girlfriend's order was not. She asked for 2 golden Oreos with her ice cream. When the person mixed it and I say mixed losely the Oreos were cut in half they were not cut into smaller bite size pieces like mine was. The quality of mine was great my girlfriends lacked any quality. Whoever made hers needs to be retrained. read more

This was the first time I had been to this awesome ice cream joint in about 2 years. They still have a bevy of great ice cream flavours as well as lots of toppings to put on them if you so desire. I went with one of their advertised specials; the Circus Animal Cookie Sundae. It was a pretty simple dish which included vanilla ice cream, animal cracker cookies, as well as some chocolate pieces. All of it was served in a waffle cone. The ice cream wasn't the most exciting thing I've ever come across but the animal crackers were pretty great and vanilla ice cream is always a winner in my book. The waffle cone was my favourite part of this as it was crunchy, sugary, and magnificent. There isn't a whole lot of inside seating at this location although there are also a few outside seats so yay for that. A great place to treat yourself or take the kids when things get back to normal (not sure if this is open during quarantine. ) Great stuff. read more

We came in last night to get ice cream and I got a Hot for Cookie. The cookie was really hard and the whip cream on top was really thick and had a weird odor to it. I thought it was homemade or something possibly but I think it was honestly made with bad product. I have been really really sick ever since we left and none of the ice cream stayed in my belly. What can I say, it's Coldstone. That alone, makes it great! This is a pretty good location and I have always found the staff pretty friendly and they load up the ice cream nicely. I am not sure how they measure, but when my cup overflows, I am not complaining. The only knock that I have with any of their locations is really more seating would be nice. read more

I pre ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and when we picked it up it had the wrong name on it and looked like a child did the writing. They did correct their mistake but at nearly $40 you expect more. This is a professional business & if you are going to advertise & sell a product then it should not look like a child did it. This is a fairly good Coldstone location. My only complaint is that usually it's only staffed by one person so the line takes forever.

Cold Stone is so-so, as the service is never consistent. One day you could walk in and get great service and the next day wait while the one person who works the counter is waiting on other customers (note to ColdStone-hire more people). With this being said, they have some really great flavors and mix ins, but the price is a little steep for my taste, especially since I can go to Culver's in Florence KY and get a better sundae for a cheaper price. Besides Graeter's, Cold Stone Creamery is next in line. Sorry Cold Stone, there is just something special about Graeter's here in Cincinnati. With that being said, Cold Stone has great combinations of mixes and they always let you sample. This specific location had a line out the door into the sidewalk, but I bet we did not wait more than 10 minutes. They were fast and friendly. I would not get too far off the beaten track with their ice cream combinations though. It is one of the more pricey and premium ice creams to get, but I love the birthday cake remix. The ice cream here is really good, BUT you have to wait in line forever to get it. Seriously, I waited over 20 minutes in line to finally speak to someone about a cake that I had ordered. Then I waited another 15 minutes to find out that they didn't make my cake. Please hire some more employees and please make sure they know how to make cakes. Obviously the ice cream is delicious. However, the restaurant gets obscenely crowded and the manager never staffs enough workers to keep up to the demand of the customers. The ice cream is terribly expensive and they still expect a tip from you in the end. The wait times are long and during busy hours, lines will form outside the building just to get their fix on overpriced ice cream from a place owned by two of the most unfriendly managers in Kentucky. Having worked here, I can say that there are definitely many other dessert places I would recommend over this establishment unless you want either unfriendly service or in-your-face fake-nice service. read more

Since so many people are quick to post a BAD review of a place I'd like to flip the script for once. I took my son to a storytime at the Joseph Beth (bookstore) in Crestview Hills. After storytime was over, we walked a couple stores down to Coldstone. I went to open the door and it was locked. I THEN looked at the hours (the sign did look lit up though...with the hours). I told my son that they weren't open yet and we went to walk back to our vechicle. We got about 100 feet away when the guy opened the door and told us to come in saying "we can't have you leaving with no ice cream". The guy opened up just for us.
